My 1968 Fargo. Red and White auto shift off the dash. Big white steering wheel. Roof light's were awesome all chrome. Brother i drove that truck for years. 3 kids and the wife and the way we go. The truck never cost me any headaches. Just turn the key and go. Only my truck had the 383. She was a looker and a sleeper. Lol
Bestist thing about them is the hood hinges over travel. And ,have plenty room on inner fender for tool boxes.had a 68 heavy half,361 auto, put 1.5 ton front and rear axelsand 440 auto. Had to retire the girl from frame flex. Retired a 79 clubcab 440 from frame flex also. Drive a 01 with 88,318 727 non lockup. Next is a 03 quad cab 3/4 ton 5.7 to a 440, 727 2x. Mopar
@@jaydubwolfman4573 I have all sorts of trucks and it’s for my girlfriend to drive and I thought the slant six with the three on the tree would be different
@@eddiewipple8016 idling any engine is not good if you watch my first video when I got that slant running I had the valve cover off and no oil makes it up top until it sees some rpm I never just let them idle worst thing for any gas engine is idling
@@FORDCAMPERSPECIAL that truck did come with a shortbox frame that was actually my 62’s original but honestly the 66’ss paint is just too nice to mess with I will probably do the conversion on my 68 d100 that’s turf green that I don’t think I’ve shown on the channel yet

You mentioned boosting this… I vote power tour 25’ in a boosterd slant 6 Fargo!
@@The_Riveting_Tails that sounds like a great idea!
It appears you don't have to worry about losing the shop.
@@akawireguy1197 no shop to loose haha
New engine
@@JeronWhite it’s an original motor from my 68 Fargo
What a beauty. Those slants can be pretty torquey. I'm assuming it's a 225.?. Love the content as always.
@@metalmangle thanks yeah it’s a 225
I understand the connections will be easy to do, but still. A six for a six?
Regardless of my previous comment, I love your channel and look forward to the next video. Keep on rockin' !

You should run a engine slowly

Just needs a 4x4 power wagon frame under it
@@FORDCAMPERSPECIAL haha I already have two power wagons and a third one to pick up yet I think I’m gunna leave this one as it is for once
@TheRustFarm yeah for sure. Definitely has a good look to it, would make a nice shortbet conversion candidate
