Chris, that was very kind of you to give money to that lady and for rewarding the boy who brought your shirt back to you. He will learn a valuable lesson from that but looks like his parents taught him well already 🙂
Such a funny experience bumping into you Chris ! 😂 such great Nasi Lemak 😍
maz, u gotta check out night market called "bazaar" this ramadhan, usually people go at 6pm. theres tons of food u can try out, welcome to malaysia!
You guys should do another video again!
I spent 1 year in Malaysia because of covid...I can't wait to go there again after everything has opened up again. Penang is a great place to travel to in Malaysia...I recommend taking the train up there. It's very comfortable and you could probably get a nice video.
I love Malaysia!! The food and the people are awesome!! You should also try Laksa and Malaysian coffee Kopi..those are really good too.
I really appreciate all my favorite channels when they upload good content for me to watch over the weekend. Thanks, Chris! 🫶🏽
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me! It's always great seeing you in the comments!
@Travelwithchris I havent watched regular television in almost 4 years because it's depressing. RUclips is my go-to for everything I enjoy watching. 👍🏽

I appreciate the fact that i get to travel the 🌍 world through you, Chris! 🧘♀️
Thank you!
Hey guys..glad to see 3 of you in one video..😍
Fyi, Kampung Baru is owned by the Malays, it's a private land and still under negotiation with the government to develop that area, and Chow Kit is mostly Malaysian Chinese and non Malaysians especially the Indonesians, Thais etc working and living there..
Btw Chris you have to wear something lighter colour to avoid sweating/perspiration.. 😁
Great video Chris, thanks and thanks to Solo too for being a well versed Malaysia tourism promoter 🙏😃
Have a great time in Malaysia 🇲🇾👍✌️😊
Yaww RM50 for the kid who run blindly to find u returning the shirt, what can i say u really make his day..Enjoy your stay bro..Tag team with Solo to explore every state in Malaysia..Different state have different experience..Keep on spread the good vibes bro

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that big time!
Hi Chris, I recently started watching your videos as I will be travelling to Malaysia next month. After watching your Malaysia videos I can tell you are a very humble and good hearted person. I am from Pakistan based in dubai. I would love to see you doing Pakistan vlogs. Keep it up man. You are a doing it so so well. All the respect and prayer for you🤲🙏🏻
Most of the time, those "asking" money are not local. Probably under supervision of some syndicate. If there are local, they won't ask, possibly just sitting at a corner or selling small stuffs like tidbits, tissue paper, crafts and souvenirs, etc
Everywhere I go people say the same thing 😂 people always want to make everyone else look bad, but their own. Truth is there's people hungry everywhere and it doesn't matter where they're from.
@@Travelwithchris they r mostly rohingyas refugees, dear
@@Travelwithchris Those beggars are definitely not our own. I am Malaysian and I can recognize those are Rohingya refugees. Unlike other refugees in Malaysia, they are well known to involve in criminal and abusing this country law. They use UNHCR card as accuse not to abide our country law and they are definitely not hungry. The money they get from you, they paid syndicate to bring their own refugee people illegally to Malaysia shore. Those people they bring, they use them to work for them, smuggling drug, beggar operation and other illegal business without licence. Malaysian take care of our own people, those who are poor will have a card/permit to do small business selling tissue, toys, busking. Local will feel ashamed to ask money for free. They paid syndicate RM 15 K to RM 20K per person to bring their people to Malaysia by boat. Do you know how many years average Malaysians have to work to have that much money? Probably 6 years or so but these people get this amount in one month.
@@Travelwithchris oh well. As Malaysian, local and very much aware of what's going on, we are just trying to inform you. It's up to you to see it as +ve or -ve.
I'm not saying they're no local beggars, there are. But we know how the real locals look like and hardly they may approach you for cash. Even if they need assistance, they would approach locals, not tourist.
@@Travelwithchris The truth is these beggars are controlled by syndicates. The ones that will profit from this are the people that are manipulating them. This is common in South East Asian countries. May I suggest that you spend these beggars food instead of money in the future. You helping out Mr Kong and giving out cash to the kid is awesome tho.
Nice to see two great utubers together, Thanks for the tour and enjoy your time there in Malaysia See you next ti

Hi Chris, the Euro logo with KL is actually just a sticker for fun, nothing official (can buy it anywhere here).
The red little house is actually the house prayers, that particular one is Dato (local deity) but others mostly is for Jade Emperor (Taoism) for prayers by Malaysian Chinese community.
The tower you were asking is actually KL tower. KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) is actually at Patronas Twin tower and Suria KLCC.
"Ramli" is the most famous Burger Patty maker in Malaysia (there are a few more). They supply throughout whole Malaysia for street vendor to sell. Thus, every stall have their own recipe and sauces that put into the burger with Ramli Patty. Chicken Special is chicken patty with egg.
On Nasi Lemak, Solo took you to one of the most famous one, but TBH bro you can get nasi lemak anywhere in Malaysia, each have their own Sambal recipe and mostly are good.
FYI MALAYSIA produce her Own Cars ( Namely PROTON and PRODUA) and that makes Malaysia one of 11 countries that produces its own cars.
No Foreigners YT so far is reviewing about our car.
Thank solo you ambasodor of malaysia
💪🏻
When you gave the lad the RM50.....man you definitely made his day!
Wow....just love yr video and seem that you guys really enjoy the journey to nasi lemak.Looking forward to yr next video.Glad that you met with Solo.I love his channel too.Cheers and enjoy guys.
Very amusing, the power of hands.but u all must be careful not to stop the car while the car is in high speed.generally it works😂
😂😂😂 that is very true!
I am Cambodian from US. I can keep saving my PTO up to 250hours. For taking vacation, you can take from 1 week up to 3 months, but it depend on the work experienced in the company. After 5 years work, you can take up to almost 2 months. I live in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. Love your videos. Especailly in Cambodia. Just let you know, Khmer New Year is coming soon. Camobodian will celebrate new year in April 14 to 16, 2023.

Hey Chris.. love what you're doing. Your knowledge based on your experiences travelling the world is super cool!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Love your videos, followed solo after seeing this. I love to travel too, but there’s not too many RUclips traveler’s I actually like but you too have good humour, respect for locals but most importantly you’re real. A lot just show the instagramable kind of vibe where everything is perfect but you guys also show that some days things in travel aren’t perfect. Stay real and humble it’s admirable.
You guy's are a real delight to watch. ❤
Chris you're really kind hearted person I've ever seen. Subscribed and binge watching all your videos. keep spreading kindness. Much ❤fr NZ.
I would like to try the Nasi Lemak. Looks very filling and delicious! Thanks for introducing different food of the world wherever you go! From Canada.

What’s up bro I enjoy watching your videos 👍👋
Glad you like them! Means a lot!
Chris, you barely scratch the surface of the food here. A couple of weeks here wouldn't do the justice at here. 😄
Chris i am glad you love the nasi lemak. If you come to Singapore we too have nasi lemak, the famous chicken rice.
We have Singapore Chicken Rice here too. I prefer home cooked food but chicken is my go to meal when I'm out. Eventhough I'm Malaysian and maybe it's my tongue but I can't eat nasi lemak everyday but I can with chicken rice 😁
You are right. Here in Singapore everybody love chicken rice just like Malaysia. Take care and God bless

I used to love to go to chow kit nearly every weekend alone, when i was a student at utm jalan gurney about 25 yrs ago, i loved it there, i think i could walked from chow kit to my univ as it wasnt far, but then again i was young, that last october sending my kids to univ, but i felt abit scared , i dont know why but the environment wasnt like it was before and too many homeless ppl (not that i am against them) but i love kpg baru, i never fail to go there whenever i am in kl😃

2 weeks vacation and you cannot even have it all 😳😳. I had 30 days paid working in England and that was not enough.
Good to see a longer video Chris 😎
Great video. I love it. 👍👍👍😍😍😍
Thanks a lot!
If you make over $24,000 usd per year, you can get a digital nomad visa for Malaysia. You could make that your home base, Chris.
Thanks for that info, but definitely not looking to make this a homebase, I have a lot more places that I want to see and honestly, I still have other cities that are my favorite.
This place is amazing, but nowhere near the point of settling down. I have to take care of my family right now, so California is where I'll be
@@Travelwithchris I'm trying to convince my wife that we should move there. LOL You were supposed to say "yeah that's a great idea!" 🤣😂
@@ericd1084 lol

Cat will always come nearer to a good hearted person. So dont be weird when it approached you. It can smell ur rich hearted blood.

I would like to recommend the island of Langkawi as a possible escape from KL. It's a just one hour flight from KL, when I was there in January I flew the new Malaysian airline called MyAirline, it was cheap and the crew were amazing!
Hai bro you must go to Cameron Highlands cool place but it will take u around 1 or 2 hour to go there not hot kuala Lumpur ask Ur friend temperature in Cameron Highlands below 20 celcius 😊
Terima kasih.
🙏🏻❤️
We malaysian ourself dont usually go walking that far just to go eat nasi lemak. Bravo guys!😅
Hello Chris welcome to Malaysia 🎉🎉. I like you video.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻❤️ are you from KL?
Hey Chris! just a tip, there's currently a huge syndicate going around in KL by a group of people asking around for money. We locals try our best not to give anything to them as this might just encourages them to keep on asking for more. Theyve been around for months now at least.
Just a heads up - Kampung Baru is marked for development in the future with condos, malls, etc. The history of kampung baru is quite interesting - basically a place where migrants from the region settled (and they became Malaysian after independence). Now the locals are a mix of locals and foreigners (with many of the locals leaving). Anyway, the village-like atmosphere might not exist in 10 more years.
Kampung Baru is not for migrants..its for Malay local settlement for reserved Malay land in year 1900. The migrants mostly from Indonesia only came later on. Kampung Baru is for local Malay cuisine, meanwhile Jalan Alor/Alor Street is mostly catered non halal cuisines; Chinese, Thai etc..only very few halal foods.
Chiris we are enjoying all your videos
Thank you!
Nasi Lemak always good time to eat anytime and anyplace.
My first time in Malaysia was 2020 what a nice place
The women that asked for money at 12:30 is not Malaysian.. they’re Rohingya illegal immigrants i hope you know that. i’m not telling you to not help them.
but, just so you know that they have caused a lot of trouble for us in Malaysia they been going around asking for money to everyone and leave us quite a lot of bad impressions toward Malaysia. although they’re illegal immigrants our gov didn’t send them back because we Malaysian pity them and on top of that our gov even gave them the help they need such as a place to stay, food, clothings etc. i just want to say sorry for behalf of Malaysia bcs you have to deals with them.
Happy St Patty day brother!! When’s trip to Ireland?? Count me in!! Slainte and stay safe!! ☘️ 🇮🇪 🍻
Happy Patty's day bro! Man hopefully I can visit there soon! I'd love to one day! Looks amazing out there bro! Lets do it!! 💪🏻😂
