@@Kyle.H indeed. but for me thats the issue buddy. my social skills havent been as good as they used to be. usually most friends that are in my local aria just blank me after a week and of course online friends discord(o), wattsapp,ect are still on the pc. its so frustrating for me as in my time we used to go out and do things.

I'm thinking of trying this out, while having my resulting leftoever smart phone be like an ipod. So I can have my YT, Spotify, Calendar but use the offline download functions. And things like mental health apps. Leave it on airplane except when I want to do updates on my home wifi, and it'll be without a sim when on the go. My only concern is being able to track the bus or call rideshares or when meeting up with people and we haven't exchanged numbers so it may mean swapping out the sim on occasion ahead of time 😅 but if it means the majority of the time I can stay more present then perhaps it'll be worth it. Having a social media catch up day once a month to schedule in events, and see friends posts, could be good, but God is this stuff so cumbersome 😅 but it's probably less time consuming then all the doomscrolling
