No even on a flip phone I was still on Facebook web version a lot. It’s just not as instant which is good so we don’t spend as much time as we could be like on full smartphones. I would get on, post an update, maybe like a photo and end it. But I had mobile internet shortly before smartphones got really really
Popular because data plans were so expensive even for basic phones

The point of this video should’ve been to completely replace texting and social media with actual phone calls. For me, phone calls are actually faster than a long drawn out text conversation. You also pick up a lot more by the way someone talks and not just the words they are saying. Society needs to relearn how to talk to each other and spend real time together instead of looking at each other’s selfies.

Wait, I’m using iPhone 11. Is there a big difference in picture quality like VHS to 4K with newer iPhones?

Many say it is. Say the difference in display from the IPhone 11 to iPhone 12 is pretty drastic.

I've just come off the Nokia 800 Tough, which used exactly the same Kaios system. It was beyond a joke, lagged and crashed often. The only thing the phone had going for it WAS that it was tough. I now have the Doogee S100 Pro and it's the best phone I've ever had!

I would love this but we have an id/2 step verification app in my country that isn't available on this. Everyone uses it, even the government services log you in through it. I wish manufacturers got together and figured out a hardware standard for 2 step verification instead of having to rely on third party apps.

Imagine intentionally buying a "dumb phone" and still wanting to scroll TikTok and Instagram all day. And the "problems" are things like not being able to use Apple Pay and actually remember your wallet.

Us Millenials will be the last gereration that didn't have phones or internet until 2003-2004.
Internet/Phone/Pagers were too expensive for anyone to have before that time.
I'm 35 now. Got my first Moto Razr V3 when i was 14 with free night and weekend minutes.
(We literally could only use it at night and on weekends) It was no joke.
We didn't use them in school because they had no minutes in the daytime. xD

As a college student,I have survived an whole year with a 3310 nokia phone from 2023, it might seem to be a bit uncomfortable because everyone might be using the internet but it might soon vanish after some week.

People using speaker phone to talk while out and about is FING annoying. You do realise they only do it on reality TV so the cocking mic can pick up the phone conversation!

However, be *VERY* careful buying a new flip phone, though. Most new flip phones rely on digital cellular networks, and many cell carriers are no longer supporting 2G and sometimes 3G digital cellular service. You want to phone that supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) 4G service nowadays.

this makes me want to buy the phone, half the "downsides" were perks to me (like the "bad" camera has a quality i'd love and the lower resolution of videos doesnt matter to me for certain things i may be filming) and the other ones would be solved by having an additional smartphone if its affordable XD

Take that Vault 7! Next level privacy tech! For those of you who need privacy. Just need talk and text people. If you’re okay with the government knowing every single detail about your your life and who’s your nearest kin then you can still provide that information by login in to Facebook on a laptop.
