- This might be one of the hidden secret within the Adidas line-up for Duramo series. Priced at SGD119, a pair of running shoes that fits the bill with ability to provide ample cushioning. Adidas gave the Duramo Speed a full length LIGHTSTRIKE midsole which was the standard setting for SL20 series. Of course not all sparks and fireworks, there are areas where the quality and build reflects its price.
A combination of a lightweight & breathable engineered mesh upper with a full length LIGHTSTRIKE midsole for faster movement and durable outsole was built for runners looking to learn the ropes and push themselves to the next level. i have boston 12 and duramo speed with same colorway, boston for long run with some serious pace, duramo speed for easy and comfort running day.. they booth do great, can't complain anything, and with same colorway my wife didn't notice i have 2 shoes ^o^

Yess it is normal to have that. It is not supposed to be very visible as part of quality control but sometimes such products still go pass the net.
Hello, are the Duramo Speed or the Adizero rc 5 better?
Hi @antulopezzz it depends on what you are looking to use it for and your preference on stack height. The RC 5 I would imagine it to be more suited to runners that are good with low stack and lighter weight.

Look back at the current running shoes you have and observe their characteristics (e.g., brand, stack height, midsole type, weight) and then think about what you want this new pair of running shoes to be for. For example, the RC5 will definitely be a good choice for speed workout while the Duramo Speed (w/ its higher stack height) is being used for my slower runs and longer distance. I tried the Duramo Speed for some speed workouts. It works but the weight was something which bothered me.

@@TanoZzz72 greetings! In that case, based on the price points of the two shoes you comparing, why not consider Adizero SL. There should be some colours which are on heavy discount. The Adizero SL might be your best in between when you find one on discount.

@@christiancorral9401 For myself, I have wide feet of 2E so I up my size by 1 full size (US11 to US 12). It ends up being longer but comfortable for my wide feet.
Eu comprei o Duramo Speed feminino, usei 2x, deu bolha e descascou o meu calcanhar. Isso nunca aconteceu antes. Pedi devolução. Não recomendo!

Is it good for 800 meter running?
Thanks for the great question. I did take this for 800m interavals. Direct answer, it is not the best option. One key barrier is its weight and overall chunkiness of the footwear. I would imagine needing something more nimble and lighter on foot. Can it work, Yes. Positive aspects for this include the toespring and the amount of cushion.

@@TURBOS-sy8on I recommend going up half a size for weide feet. I have 2E width. But do take note that your left and right feet can be different in width so test both!
