Just the job: Been cycling years, now need that little bit of help. Delivered next day, fitted in 35 mins, took longer the fit extension bracket. 10 ml circuit testing on different tracks without a problem. Getting one for the wife asap. Cheers guys

Had the power and Bluetooth drop out issue. It was the battery causing the problem. Put the battery in from my wife's bike and all working well. I suspect that the contacts need crimping up but if you do this be very careful not to short out the connections. Clive is replacing my battery and as I live locally to him he's dropping it round. Can't complain about the service at all. Very helpful. 🙂

Im having a lot of power drop outs with mine where the bluetooth connection drops out both on the app and the LCD controller. I wondered if you had any issue like this? I notice your battery is held down with velcro, does this help the connection stay constant? thanks

    • @davesolobiker5601

Hi before every ride I always connect my bike in the search menu of the wepower bike app and connect my bike , and this is usually fine until I switch off the battery power when I have completed my journey. I then always need to reconnect everytime before re starting a new journey . I had noticed this a while back and this was my solution which now seems to work ok . The velcro strap was me just being OCD as usual , I dont like things if they have a slight rattle lol atb dave

@@davesolobiker5601 Thanks for the reply, yes it seems that i need to recalibrate the gyroscope everytime i reconnect the system (holding the up and down arrows together until you see the zeros) However i am still hearing the battery beep after that (like it loses connection) and the bluetooth symbol disappears.

Been riding this kit since April and commute 16 miles to work everyday
I totally agree with the diffent modes there not as effecient as manual mode but still get little blips of cut outs
I've also got the same tyres and can't fault them I've got my 16 mile commute down to 58 minutes using 46% peddle assist
I think it's a great bit of kit for the money
Not sure how long the battery or motor are guaranteed for will have to ask Clive 👍

I think the battery has 900 to 1000 full charging cycle life retaining 75% to 80% battery capacity. Motor has a 10year service life expectancy.

    My kit simply doesn't work.
When I turn on the battery, and use the thumb throttle, it'll work for a few seconds then cut out and never come back on again until I restart the battery again..
The same thing happens on pedal assist-I thought I just wasn't feeling the power, but it turns out it just doesn't come on.
If I turn the battery on and start pedalling immediately, the pedal-assist will work, but after a few seconds, it cuts out and never comes back on again until I restart the battery. Shit product
