I got my first bike and before I wrecked, I had people tell me it’s not an if, it’s when your gonna wreck. I said the quickest prayer ever as I sailed over the handlebars. Thankfully I ended up with a few broken bones and 60% of my body was road rash. I didn’t die though and I’ll ride again when I get another bike.
The best learned lessons are the hardest learned lessons, and the only way to learn that is to know what it's like to go down. All good riders have been there and done that.
Shit happens to good riders too....i can say mostly to them. When you * you are not a good rider.....you don't push to the limit....when you push to the limit less shit will happen.

That’s for sure happened to me a couple of months ago with black asphalt gravel in the turn not even on the breaks. Wasn’t even going fast or leaned over much. Just went to turn in and bang I went down no warning. I knew the road could be dirty too, so was being careful and still got bit. Broken right tibia fibia fracture. Also got it on camera as my friend was filming behind me. It’s part of our sport. Sooner or later we all have the chance to go down.
