The plantation offers distinguished and organic vanilla in addition to various other Mauritian spices, fruits, and vegetables. You definitely don't want to miss visiting this location on your next trip to the Ile of Maurice!
Vanilla is a spice derived from orchids of the genus Vanilla, primarily obtained from pods of the species, flat-leaved vanilla. Pollination is required to make the plants produce the fruit from which the vanilla spice is obtained.
Using vanilla as a sugar substitute also can reduce high blood glucose levels and help you lead a more heart-healthy lifestyle. The alcohol in vanilla extract can numb some toothache pain, while its antioxidants may provide healing effects.
