This may be a silly question, but what are the v mount batteries powering. Is it the Gimbal or is it powering the shock mount? Will it work without any batteries mounted? Many thanks
Good question! in this set up one of the batteries is powering the gimbal, but you might also want to power a focus pull, video transmitter, power the camera directly, a 2nd camera (like a gopro or other fixed camera)
