The griffin and kraken emblems are so cool. If the griffins were purple and silver, that'd be an automatic vote from me. Burgundy is still an amazing and very royal color, so it's between them and the krakens for me. Edit: Voted for the warm gold space minifig and the kraken faction. I think the most important thing here is that we find ways to slam this thing with so many votes that Lego appreciates the level of support Castle has. That said, they're all good options. If either the Griffon or Kraken had come in purple, that would be the clear choice for me. The Ravens winning would a boon for large army collectors, but a new knight would be a win for all of us. And this may sound like a weird take, but I would recommend NOT voting for the Bull. The development of its design suggests to me that it was something that they had in the works as a CMF candidate, so there's a better chance of us getting a new Bull Knight anyway, even if it loses.

There's definitely some Lovecraft in there, but could also be used for Game of Thrones (House Greyjoy), Pirates of the Caribbean (Davy Jones), Clash of the Titans ("Release the Kraken!")-related MOCs. Or keep it in-house and mash-up with existing LEGO Pirates, Atlantis, Adventure, or even Space Alien Conquest/Disney Little Mermaid themes.
I hope it goes to the Krakens but I also really hope the griffins are gonna show up too. But what I really hope is that we get a new wave of castle sets with new ideas based around these factions. I’m think a ship for the krakens, and maybe an airship for the griffins, maybe a battering ram for the bulls, and I don’t know about the ravens
I've been calling the Tournament Knight/'Black Ravens' faction The Crows in my head since I first saw them, so I'm feeling super pleased right now 😊 Love the color scheme for the krakens, but gotta go with the bird squad!
Griffins are my favorite. I like ravens and bulls but unless we are getting barding and a whole theme it’s not that helpful as we’ve already got a torso/shield for bulls and ravens.
I'm just curious have you ever thought of making a beastmen infection for example you could use pieces from Chima from spooky sets werewolf sets Batman set like Man-Bat

OMG. Yes. I need to decide yet, as this could be Lego deciding to bring castle back like they are with space sets and testing the waters for a new faction to bring with. So with that, while the Kraken could be a really cool naval faction, my concern is they could lean too far into the heavier fantasy realm where the rest seem more historical in nature which is my castle preference. Still super exciting though!!

@@elipetrou9308 The griffin has white and grey/silver on it though, which I think is at least very unusual - silver and white are typically considered the same heraldic tincture. If it were supposed be a plain grey, I guess it would be alright, but the raven one looks more normal to me.

I see lego are at least considering some of our wants / likes. I've been waiting for a griffin faction for ages, however Bulls and Raves ... so tempting. These all need a release in normal sets (the kraken one is good too, but I agree the color is a bit off - black and gold or dark red would be fitting, maybe grey?).
Look as much as Id like to vote for the Ravens, my fear would be that Lego would keep them exclusive to the prize machine for a long time. If they came to PAB that would be cool but I think for now Im voting Griffins so if the Ravens get second place, at least they may come later down the line.
