@@leothewhiteranger The way I see it, Masked HEROes are more based on the "generic" idea of Kamen Rider with their armor design, belts, scarves, etc (with some getting a bit more specific, like holy shit Anki is trying so hard to be not-Hibiki he even has the _name_ ). Inzektors meanwhile seem to very specifically ape Kabuto riders. Really heavy insect theming, the focus on high-tech, the armor equipping, the whole Zekt/ZECT thing, and so on.

@@FranBattery95 i know im seriously late to this party, but it's not like Galaxy/photons was going to not get support. the same dang year i think they got afterglow, and being an anime kaiba-esc archetype their problem will always be not enough starters. no, im not bitter about the fact frogs lost to galaxy/photons in the TCG lineup as well, even though the only frog cards anyone ever runs in that archetype were quiteliterally 2 toads using 2 frogs as fodder and the 4th best card in the archetypes modern incarnation is a card with a when clause... ...and as a cherry on top frogs got deleted from both the TCG and OCG more than they already where for the sins of Sprights. it's a cold day when your own archetype can't play your boss monster easier than literally any deck that can make rank 4's out of water monsters.

Just checked top decks. Pure Inzektors got 4th place in the 2018 Canada Nationals. True the meta was somewhat different then, but that shows they can still be relevant.

Dude in 2017 I was still doing inzektor loops like crazy and that was with hornet at 1. I haven’t played yugioh in a fair bit but I imagine with all of this generic insect support I can pull it off even better. You can pull off a near infinite loop with mantis and hornet and it’s fucking harilous. Shit would get stopped now if it’s the like 100 hand traps that people run nowadays tho

If windup can't handloop (handtrap or bad draws idk) or this draws dragonfly (better)/centipede while ladybug/hornet (better) is in grave, inzektor wins. Key aspect is: summon effect of dragonfly (from deck) and centipede (add from deck) aren't once per turn. Just watch some old replays from yugiohtube. If the loop resolves [have hornet/ladybug+ dragonfly and any insect/zekt to equip---->summon dragonfly, equip hornet, pitch it to pop something (if you poped something equipped to dragonfly, you summon two centipedes from deck) , dragonfly summon centipedes, add equipable insect (gigamantis/weevil) equip it to dragonfly, centipede equips hornet, use hornet pop whatever equipped to dragonfly, dragonfly summons from deck and mantis/weevil summon from grave etc.] You usually otk by popping everything with hornet or end on a xyz board thanks to lv giving abilities of ladybug while looping...takes too long though, just like my comment
Once you get a hornet in grave, a single dragonfly gets you pop 2, a search, and a rank 3. Centepede gets you a pop and a search. Also, backrow and handtraps are a thing, given their entire engine is about 9 cards.

To me (as someone who isn’t a inzektor player) I want to see what will Konami do with these bug warriors in their new support. If whenever they will give them swarming or any ways of recovering.

Someone need to explain this well.
If windup can't handloop (handtrap or bad draws idk) or this draws dragonfly (better)/centipede while ladybug/hornet (better) is in grave, inzektor wins. Key aspect is: summon effect of dragonfly (from deck) and centipede (add from deck) aren't once per turn. Just watch some old replays from yugiohtube. If the loop resolves [have hornet/ladybug+ dragonfly and any insect/zekt to equip---->summon dragonfly, equip hornet, pitch it to pop something (if you poped something equipped to dragonfly, you summon two centipedes from deck) , dragonfly summon centipedes, add equipable insect (gigamantis/weevil) equip it to dragonfly, centipede equips hornet, use hornet pop whatever equipped to dragonfly, dragonfly summons from deck and mantis/weevil summon from grave etc.] You usually otk by popping everything with hornet or end on a xyz board thanks to lv giving abilities of ladybug while looping...takes too long though, just like my comment
Once you get a hornet in grave, a single dragonfly gets you pop 2, a search, and a rank 3.
Centepede gets you a pop and a search.
Also, backrow and handtraps are a thing, given their entire engine is about 9 cards.
