Great layout and floor plan. . . .EXCEPT. Those 2 jump seats are wasted space. Why? If there's no place for 2 other people to sleep. Every inch matters in a small rig. Why, why, why do manufacturers not realize there are LOTS of us single RVers out there. Even if this rig is for a couple the two seats are a wasted space. LOVE that it DOESN'T have a slide out.
Those are a sought after feature, they might sell some units. One of the common requests on B+ forums is are there models where we can transport 4 people. Kids, grandkids, friends, whatever. And there are a few with lap belted jump seats, but this is the second I've seen with car seats. The first being the Ekko, and that's a pretty specialized RV.
This is a nice B+. It has a lot of storage fir as small as it is. Tiffin did very well with this one. I like that it has a pantry as well. Thank you Izzy and MJ.
Neither the Tiffin nor any LTV are Class Bs. Both are Class Cs per the RVIA definition. A Class B is built inside the van shell provided by the automotive manufacturer. This and all LTVs are built on cutaway chassis.
I love this floor plan. Since I toss and turn lots while I sleep the twin set up is best for my wife and I. Also, the shelving behind the beds is perfect for CPAP. I like the rear dinette set up and the way it’s cross utilized which is crucial for vans this size. Possibly the best bath I’ve ever seen in a b van. We travel light so this is an excellent set up. The rear storage is just awesome. Kudos Tiffin!
You guys r so awesome!! What a great opportunity. Rents redic. Id full time in it just to save money. Most peops are broke while working 2 full time jobs. Love this!!!❤
Looks like it's taking a lot of design ideas from Leisure Travel Vans. Hopefully, more RV manufacturers will take note since there is a 2+ year wait on LTVs and I'd love to see similar designs from other companies. Great video. Thank you.
There is a reason why people are waiting for the LTV. You can duplicate the features but the quality of build is whole other story. The mass production vehicles don’t hold a candle to LTV.
I really love the clean lines and the simple paint graphics! the interior colours are bright and clean and the large bathroom is awesome! tones of good storage the only thing I would do is remove the extra seating and add a tv to the wall of the shower and use that area as a living area with the swivel seats! I would definitely buy one of these when the covid gouge is over. Great job Tiffin! and great video keep up the good work!!
If it is anything like the LTVs, the reason this model has such limited towing is because of the large rear storage compartment. The models without it probably tow more (4000 lbs). The LTV rear twin bed model with the huge rear storage compartment is the same way.
I like the motorhome and really like the storage in the back. The one thing I do not like is the burner. You need two burners. Let the manufacturer know that. Aloha
Got seats for 4 but dose it have seatbelts and sleeping for 4 or do the other two get kicked out at sleep time, nice to have covers of sink and cooker but is there a place to store them, take a look at Isbera ( Equidor camper) how they make sleeping area’s
Not sure how practical that layout is. Great size but LTV has some non slides plans that seem more practical. I think two van seats behind front make floor plan a challenge. Looks really good on outside
Does the Midas reflect Tiffin build quality (for instance the outside hatch doors and inside cabinets), or is this a prototype built quickly and poorly in time to make it to the show?
More Outdated Gloomy Grey and Boring Black interior colors. I had the same interior colors in my 11 Ranger, so I had it reupholstered in Red with black trim and stitching to match my custom 2 tone paint (silver over Red metallic).
Up here in Canada we have the premier Leisure Travel Vans. TIffen and other coach manufacturers are not only tapping into the Class B+ market but oddly enough taking the LTV outer design shapes.
I hate the jump seats but I have seen a few videos of one with a bench that will sleep one. The only other change for me would be a larger 12v fridge and I would buy one today. I hope to see one in person at the Hershey RV show
This model is not listed on the Tiffin website. Where can specifications be obtained? I'd like to know information about the OEM specs like batteries, inverter, solar system, A/C and heat.
Nice Unit. I would make a couple of changes. I assume the front seats swivel so I would have a provision for a removable table. This way if you didn't want to make and unmake the bed every day you would have that option. Definately need two burners. As much as I like the induction, put two propane burners in. Other than that it's a great coach.
I really like the fact that driver vision is optimum because the hangover the cab area, where other RVs have a bed, doesn't cut down on overhead windshield vision. Nice unit, but I'd guess it's probably around $90-$100 thousand. Maybe more.
A very nice Class B, appears to have Tiffin's usual high build quality! That rear storage space is amazing. I wouldn't give up my DS, but I can certainly see how this coach would appeal to many.
Very smart unit. A slide would make it more interesting. Want to great space utilization look at a Lazy Daze class C 26' party plan floor plan. Had on for 12 years. one of the best coaches every. Had 6 since 1986.
Interesting video. The Tiffin Motorhomes web site does not list the Midas under C or Class B. Only shows a Class B "Cahaba", a Class C "Wayfarer" and a Super C "Allegro Bay". Did Tiffin drop the Midas already? Or was it just a concept vehicle?
So I called my insurance company and asked what insurance would cost on a B plus they had no idea what I was talking about??? Snapped a picture from your video, they called me back after looking at model and picture. It’s identified as a class C just an FYI for future videos. 😄
Not a class c as the overhead bunk does not sleep anyone. It’s a b+. Tiffin rep identified it as the same. Perhaps insurance company has not caught up with the RV market.
@@robynidyllwild6755 Both of you are right, it is a B+ because it does not have an over cab bunk but insurance companies do not recognize the B+ as a category. It the camper is built on a cutaway chassis like the B+ is, it is categorized as a class C, the bunk has nothing to do with it. The B+ category is just a marketing strategy.
Very nice. I'm pretty sure that the dinette table goes down to turn the twin beds into a full or queen. You didn't showcase that but did you notice if it did?
It's nice that it's not a wet bath, but anytime someone puts the kitchen directly across from the bathroom it ruins everything. Nothing can make up for that
The Furrion Monitor is for the rear view camera. A nice feature in MHO is the lack of a slide. A couple of downsides I see are: the two jump seats are a true waste. Should have a small table behind one of the front seats that if they turned 180, would provide a second work space. Eating will have you sitting on your bed which could be good or bad for some folks. Appears to sit very low and I have to wonder if the V6 is powerful enough. Yes, it's AWD and that's a huge plus, but I'm thinking you're going to struggle in the mountains.
Nice RV but I'm sure you could get a fully decked out Class C much cheaper and really not much larger. Great presentation Izzy and MJ my Jersey friends... Larry
Only problem with this is you need an upgrade tires and spring and instead of running it on regular gas which is more expensive it would be nice if it was diesel instead.

30 gallons fresh water!! That’s huge for a B/B+ !!! Plus, I love it’s not a wet bath. Love the separate freezer/fridge. Love this van!

Some people do like to take their family/grandkids places when they are in town visiting. Those seats would be good for that.
The seats convert to a small bed and there is storage under the seats
I agree, the two jump seats are a waste! I’d prefer a larger Refrigerator or counter space. I hope the Manufacturers read our comments.
yeah, take the seats out and use for storage. no over the cab sleeping either. bummer!🤔🤔
This is a nice B+. It has a lot of storage fir as small as it is. Tiffin did very well with this one. I like that it has a pantry as well. Thank you Izzy and MJ.
I'm not a B person, but I'll have to say this is the nicest class B I've ever seen! Great job Tiffin! Love the videos ERV! Keep em coming!
you haven't seen Liesure Travel Van yet. Much better and longer at it.

I'm a minimalist, so I don't need a ton of storage. This looks like the perfect rig for me!

Check out the 24NP Melbourne Prestige from Jayco. Very similar to LTV Rear Lounge floorplan. And not a 2-3 year wait.
@@kcalebwalters you're right! Thank you!

@@MrBearcaaat yes, they really appear to be well-made. I can't buy right now anyway, so it's probably worth waiting.
I thought the same! I love Leisure. But I love that it’s on a Ford chassis. Mercedes is just gonna be too costly to own.
Very nice!!! There was also storage under the bed on the left. Tiffin is great quality. Thanks for sharing
I would pull out the jump seats and use the space as a place to hang my clothes. Places like Walmart or Target sells portable closet organizers.
I really love the clean lines and the simple paint graphics! the interior colours are bright and clean and the large bathroom is awesome! tones of good storage the only thing I would do is remove the extra seating and add a tv to the wall of the shower and use that area as a living area with the swivel seats! Looks nice. And they have always done a really nice job with Motorhomes
Very similar to Mike and Jen's Wonder Travel Van! Lovely for the weekends, and maybe a few weeks travel in the summer!
Do the windows in the bedroom slide open or push open? Is there screens?
Any lithium to go with that inverter? Solar?
Very innovative features. Great tour, thank you
Area inside at end cap should be more storage. The two jump seats could be closet area. Nice set up.
Nice step across from the Wayfarer.
That 2022 Wayfarer is lit!
Nice, may be an option when towing catches up with age. Simple, easy and you could still get out and explore.
If it is anything like the LTVs, the reason this model has such limited towing is because of the large rear storage compartment. The models without it probably tow more (4000 lbs). The LTV rear twin bed model with the huge rear storage compartment is the same way.
The interior is dreadfully clostrophobic but the build quality seems excellent
Is there an option for larger propane tank?
Lots of storage for a small RV, but what is the occc? Is the storage actually usable?
Can't find any Fords on their website. Wonder if it was already discontinued...
Did y’all get a look at the door placard occc? Seems like it’d be really low considering the amount of storage.
I really enjoyed the video. That RV would be perfect for a single person.
wring smales cheal ev rv only 4500
That’s what I’m thinking of getting that’s big enough for me and my two pups
buy it
Do the twin beds convert into a full/queen?
Yes
Is the underbelly enclosed and heated?
I do like the bedroom/dinning room! Thanks for the review, nice well thought out camper van.
3:56 minor correction…. Alternators are rated in amps, not amp hours.
Awesome looking small coach.
Love the floor plan but hate the jump seats behind the drivers seat …. Don’t know if that would be a deal breaker.
Probably can be removed
Vary nice thank you for video:))
What about a Ford Fiesta or Honda Fit? Could the coach tow that? It does look sharp.
Don’t know what those vehicle weigh
Great looking B+...ideal for my downsize some day!

Best comparison unit would be Navion/View twins in “V” floorplan.
Why would they put little tiny tires on the Transit AWD chassis?
Does the Midas reflect Tiffin build quality (for instance the outside hatch doors and inside cabinets), or is this a prototype built quickly and poorly in time to make it to the show?
Hmmm might want to reevaluate Tiffin “build quality”. Thanks for watching and the comment
Yes, that monitor is for the Furrion rear observation kit.
A 25 ft fun bus. 👍

Perfect for 2!
Couldn’t you turn the booth into a bed without the table?
Went to Tiffin's site and they don't even show this model. Wonder why?
