    I purchased this exact RV a year and a half ago and I have to say I have found many negatives to this unit. 1. Not insulated well, the panels are all loose 2. Driving seat not enough room to stretch your legs. Every time I am driving my knees hurt because of limited space. 3. A month after purchase screws started falling off. Towel rack fell off as well. 4. The cushions are very hard so expect body aches. 5. The heater is in the right side under bed when it is on you sweat and get a headache ( every time I sleep on this side with the heater on I literally get body aches and a headache) 6. The internet dome on top of van flew off while driving. I have a longer list but hopefully you do your homework before investing in this unit.

    • @KnowTrentTimoy
      @KnowTrentTimoy Год назад +2

      Why soo many issues? I'm assuming you did your homework as well before purchasing this unit? Quite a few people have suggested that IF you can afford it to get one made from scratch. Sounds like too many issues to even bother.

    • @ViolentCabbage-ym7ko
      @ViolentCabbage-ym7ko 10 месяцев назад +2

      Other than the insulation issue, the rest of the problems are minor and most of it can be fixed. People living in colder climates might not find this van suitable since the van is poorly insulated but those living in tropical climates will not be affected much

      It's sad to hear you spend a premium price and get less than premium quality.
      I just wanted to comment on one thing you said when using the heater. This is going to sound a little off, but if you are pumping air into this small space try cracking a window or vent. The headache is more than likely coming from the buildup pressure. Think of it being inside a balloon being filled .
      Good luck with your future travels!

I figured might as well check people that are familiar with them. Myself I more looking at smaller van campers than a full RV.

    13:38 If I had to guess, based on the way it comes out and the look of the surface material, I would guess that that isn't a pull out to increase counter space but a cutting board. Since the sink is covered and there is space to the right of the stove, that should be more than enough counter space. The cutting board is there so you don't damage the surfaces. What do you think?

    I can see me and my husband in this van, which is something I never thought I would say. The best part is the rear bathroom and closet. Every van build Ive seen has the bathroom (if there is one) placed to be the first thing you see when you open the door. So close you could almost sit on the toilet while cooking, nasty nasty nasty. I didn’t see a heat or ac source but for the price I’m sure it has it.

      Yes if they can afford the option that is awesome plus the generator on the Dodge sits so low to the ground that damage is inevitable.. because the Dodge is only front-wheel-drive it doesn't have an drive shaft or large rear axle which allows it to have more space and maintain a lower profile which is great but I would put some lifting shocks on . And some better on off-road tires. We probably should be done as your buying it through the dealership..

    I've retired for my business after 30 years I'm I'm selling my home and plan on buying a class B and this is the style I would like. The price is certainly well worth it in most people don't realize that your trade-in or when you sell it a year to down the road it's based on what you paid. I have an e-bike that I simply love and it's too expensive to put on the back I would love it if I could remove one of these bunks and put it on the inside but that would sacrifice storage and that is my only dilemma. In that dometic range is actually the best way to cook not those ridiculous hot plates that are usually only available with just one so there goes the idea of making spaghetti and meatballs plus they're made out of glass and most of them that you see or broken within the first month.. I also recommend as a dealer purchasing something like this from a dealer that knows what they're doing when there's a problem that has parts available in that will walk you through everything you need to know yes brick-and-mortar is not obsolete.

    If you're looking at a rig like this, I'd recommend pushing the budget to get in a Travato GL or KL. Then you'll have over 3x the battery power this one does. We have a 2022KL we bought in Sept 2021 for $126K which we knew was a great price. Even with them 135-140 now, or higher, it's worth the difference. Just the bed alone in the K models is amazing, to have what's nearly a King, on any RV, is so nice. My wife is small but the room we have in bed is amazing for a van. The difference in quality in ours, vs what we've seen with Thor and many others, is well worth the price. The few issues we've had, WGO has been fine to work with. They even sent an extra water pump under warranty, along with other spare parts we heard had issues but so far we haven't had to use the spare pump or anything else. We researched dealers as much as rigs and we still can't complain about using NIRVC in Vegas. They have several other locations for service but at that time they only sold the T's in Vegas. They pay $500 for fly and drive too, it worked out well for us since we have family in the area and we had a 2K mile test drive home. They're a major player with Travatos, they offered the best pricing of any dealer. If you take a deep dive into large volume dealers in terms of service and customer satisfaction, they seemed to be heads above the rest. Avoid CW at all costs, we know that. Good luck - safe travels.

    An unusual question for you. Are there any Class B vans that can be towed behind another RV, class C or A? Best scenario would be a van with a driveshaft disconnect so that it can be towed flat on all fours without using a transmission pump.

    I was always shocked about how expensive these Class B’s are…. THEN I forgot that Chevy Surburban and even the new Jeep Wagoneer are $110,000 So $122k for this is not bad at all considering what you get.

    Just my opinion and absolutely no disrespect to the dealerships guys, but I really prefer when you do your own tours of the RVs. Or maybe a quick 5min from them, then you go solo. Good info from the dealer guy, just from a YT video perspective, I think your own tours are more entertaining.

    This is a suggestion for the manufacturer. Looking at the back end on driver side you see the in/ out ports for water and electrical. You also see the thick protective side molding. To me this is an ugly look and you have to worry about people monkeying with the holes.
    Why not use the molding as a flip up that hides each of those ports? Plus a fair amount of protection for each port.
    Just a thought for a cleaner look.
