2nd alternative for sure if you also ride motocross. I'm loving my new Jayco Terrain (2023) for my kids' motocross racing. I can fit 2 bikes in the garage and a third bike on a hitch switch hauler (vs bringing my trailer). It's a super game changer for practice day trips and rolling into far races without towijg a trailer. Having a retractable bed is also clutch because for my van at least, I can load max 110 pounds on the bed at any level while driving. So dirt bikes underneath, and additional items on top of the bed. Another person could definitely sleep under the bed in either RV in this vid. I sleep under my queen sized bed while wife and younger son sleeps on the bed. Older son sleeps in the front cab using the Luno sleep set up.
This doesn’t seem up to coachmen standards. Comes across as very cheaply made. I agree with you on the outside kitchen, especially on a unit with limited storage to begin with.
Wrkbg nithg Chesapeake abyt
Can we pick our own mattress for that bed?
Can the bed be used at any height? (In case the cargo is left below?)
I do not like this RV at all.
Price is ridiculous
totally agree with not needing the outdoor kitchen. In a small kitchen, storage is a priority.
wow that price is outrageous especially when it's not even MSRP that coach is so cheaply made coachmen should be embarrassed. I thought I was going to see the quality of the coachmen Galleria or Nova.
Wrkng dmgod orice tsg
You can tell it’s cheaply put together. The depreciation will be staggering.
I’m just gonna be honest you kinda yammer on about unnecessary stuff all the time , and you kind of over explain some of the least interesting features of the things you’re showing. I have to ffwd a lot. I would like more useful and pertinent information, like I learned how many miles and what kind of truck you drive before the rv I was interested in.
Agreed, he needs to better prep for these reviews or edit better, a lot of back and forth. Set us up for one RV then goes to the other one.
Can you give me an example of what you mean? I sold RVs for 3 years before doing this full time, and most of the stuff I go into detail talking about are things that I got asked questions about from prospective buyers shopping for RVs. But I’m all ears for how I can improve and be better.
@@GrillMarksBud-S-n-P the whole point of this video is that I’m covering two RVs in one video since they are both the same brand, same size, but slightly different designs. So I just showed what both options are that way I didn’t have to take up another few hours making a different video for something that is just slightly different.
@@mylesrv I would've showed the other one after. But hey this is your show.
Did you not get your moneys worth?
I drive this chassis for Amazon with those cloth seats on the cvd vans from ford and I have to say the side bolster’s loses its padding after 20k miles of moderate to heavy use, exposing the metal framing of chair. The seat cushion is awful and my back is killing me by the time I return to station. 😅
It’s disgusting that for the listed price Coachmen wouldn’t install their signature, upgraded foam padding seats for the driver that it shares with their mattress. Too many compromises for the price tag!
Appreciate that insight!
Thats weird cause i usually have no trouble with cdv, but ive heard other people complain about it too.
Turn radious do suck in amazon cdv
Hey Myles, the 21XG is my favorite. Mainly because the rear entry garage/storage allows you put longer items (like kayakas) and a bit taller. I also like the bathroom layout better and the fold down bed allows you to keep things inside. Great job giving us a quick tour of these units. On a different note, I’m from Austin and I agree with 100% about the humidity making the heat worse. Safe travels!
This RV is show stopper for me. Crawl over bed is no go. Wimpy fan, bathroom height too short. Just looks cheap.
U talk too much , still not get points , not good salesman
Still cant get over the cheap walmart type particle board. Not worth 140,000 grand
We recently bought a 2023 21XG, and so far, we are loving it!! We watched so many of your videos and looked for a long time before purchasing.
I appreciate all you do and the great info in your videos!
So far, our 21XG has been amazing, especially for us as weekend warriors (unfortunately still have to work...lol). Keep doing what you do!! 😊
Poor design for heating pad all you have to do is run over something sticky and kick up debris and it will put a hole in the tank and rip the heating pad off!!
I'm the same way. I moved from southern California to Alabama and I know a 90* humid day here is much worse then 110* dry day. Humidity sucks out your soul and doesn't allow it to truly evaporate.
I agree about the outdoor kitchen. I'd rather have the inside storage instead of a 2nd, almost wasteful, outdoor kitchen. And Wow! on the storage area on both. I think I prefer the 21 model better. It has a better layout. And that backdoor is nice as well. You may lose some storage area in the 21, but it's still a nice storage area for an RV.
I have a question what are they doing with all the other RVs I mean they're making more RVs than people can buy and they're coming out with newer ones then all the other ones they've sold so if they're making all these new ones what are they doing with all the old ones because I know they're not selling them like hotcakes cuz they're so damn expensive
There is good value here in comparison to Winnebago's offerings in this class, which are typically much more expensive. The Ekko is nice, but not at a price of nearly $100,000 more for a similarly equipped model. There's really no way to justify that kind of a price differential.
What is absolutely mind blowing, is how euro RV’s destroy US RV’s for design, functionality, comfort, well thought out …everything.
Love Myles’ videos. Doesn’t hurt that he’s such a good looking guy!
All those loose wires hanging above the tank dump valve is a disaster waiting to happen.
Wet bay: unshielded fully exposed electrical wires at the wastewater area ! Add Wire ties anything to clean up to minimum standard looks like a kids home project ? Also best to spend five minutes cleaning up the red stuff in toilet and shower clearly no oversite and if this is ok what’s behind the scenes? Good catch on the hallway and nice presentation from your end. First time buyers beware especially the wet bay issues. Cheers!
The 20XG is my favorite. Remember that many of us aren't spring chickens. It looks like my mobility Scooter would fit under that bed! Most hitches are too wimpy to hold it. That is fantastic!
goodness, get on with the review,, 1/3 of vid of rambling = not watchable
What kind of insulation is in these?
No C-Pap shelf on the bed 🤷♂️
Outdoor kitchens and dinettes are the 2 biggest wastes of space in an rv.
Too many words, not enough information.
Sir, narrow pathways are meant to offer safety. Like on a ship and trains which also offer pullmans, small, tiny private spaces. Reason being narrow is to offer safety when vessel, rv vehicle or train is in motion, moving! Ships, boats and train also have grab rails. I wonder if rv's do.
Also, unless it has a sink, fridge, outlets and storage, it’s really just a waste of space. I don’t see the point of only having a grill outside.
100k more than i would pay
Great review, but too many compromises for the price. Somethings have to give when you try to cram a toy hauler into 20 feet!
My first impression is that the price is a joke. Not impressed at all.
I actually like the other one that you showed us really quick. With the L shaped dinette. Great video!😊
Outside South Bend/ Mishawaka Indiana area, is a large RV Manufacturing and sales territory that stretches for miles. Seeing your place's outside collection reminded me of that. Look it up, seemingly-endless RV designs.👍✌️💝🇺🇸💝🎄🤠
I really like that whole set up but that pricing is ridiculous.
Yeah, I think the price is mostly because of the lithium battery system and solar to run an AC, plus the lift and upgraded suspension. And a little tax for having a design no one else has.
I like it! We’ve been looking at Class B vans for a while because we like the size and the spontaneity of just being able to go anywhere. I can see why you would like the one with the huge rear door for toys. Very interesting.
Love that separated commode shower best idea ever im really looking at a pursue soon
One thing you need to think about with the set up like this is that the bed is pretty much unusable if you have anything in the storage area. If you’re traveling a long distance with a full storage area, you better hope that when you pull off into a rest area, you can fit in that booth table area. Especially with the fold down bed in the 21 footer. 😮 Great review, Myles!
To me, that RV just looked low quality. Maybe it is intended to be for short term use or the low budget traveler. The interior is similar to a travel trailer. I don't think it would appeal to anyone seeking a larger class B or small C. There are too many other quality units in that size.
This guy talks too much about him self
It’s his post
I am so disgusted with the poor quality, cheap parts, and overall lacking attention to detail of most mainstream RVs. This thing doesn't even have locking latches on the galley cabinets, plastic toilet, exposed wiring under chassis, etc. If this is the best they can do for $140k, I'd rather just pay more and get a totally custom build.
The problem with most American products is that they are built very cheaply. The colors don't match and are bland. The focus is always on randomly place furniture which as a whole looks awkward. They always have constant leaks throughout usage. They rarely are innovative and are usually predictable. It's almost as if American companies try to do the least possible while jacking up the price on these mediocre vehicles. The RVs in this video are both at over 139 thousand dollars. With tax God knows how much more. You are better off buying an empty RV for about 15 to 25 thousand dollars and having it custom built to what you want for an additional 10 to 15 thousand dollars. American companies are too greedy and usually don't care about their customers. They mostly care about profit. And it shows in their RV final product builds. If you look up European campers or European RVs you can see the difference in quality at a lower price.
You say the bed has a 350 capacity? That is incredibly small if two people are going to use it is it not? That doesn't seem right to me..
The built quality looks kind of cheap... However, the price is very appealing.
Did you really just call this "BEST DESIGN EVER" ?????? LOLOLOL
the finishes are nice, but if you bring a motorcycle do you have to remove it & leave it outside while you sleep? I like that L shape seating in the kitchen better
We hate the outdoor kitchens too. Grease splatter all over the RV, hard to clean. We prefer to cook away from our unit.
Myles, thanks for all your videos. They are very informative. I am still lost on what to buy. I really need a tub or at least a shower that is a lil deeper to at least plug up to soak the feet. Have any ideas? i also want to live in an rv full time.
THAT BATH LOOKS LIKE A MURDER SCENE WITH THAT RED THING IN THERE . WHAT ABOUT THE TOILET 🤢🤮 DID SOMEONE TAKE A $HIT CAUSE IT LOOKS FILTHY , HOW IS A DEALER GOING TO LET SOMEONE DO A REVIEW ON THE MOTORHOMES & NOT CLEAN IT UP FIRST . 🙄🙄🙄
Finally Americans start adding storage 😂 kind like 10-15 years behind from Europeans
for the price IMO; exterior waste lines should be fully enclosed with metal guard protection only takes one hit on a driveway, countertop provide a raised lip at front
Can you do a slow pan of the entire floor plan before the breakdown of the rv interior.
OK to start. First they're already a class c+. Unity. It's everything I would like to have in a Class C. So is better than that? Total cost of the unit?
JFYI, it was like pulling teeth trying to watch your video. Just get to it.
After 5mknutes watching the exterior, I gave up with the video!
Outdoor cooker makes no sense to me I like the indoor one better plus more storage
The outdoor kitchen in the 20XG is a mistake. I would put my small grill in the back and use it. The shower needs a bubble in the top. Stupid plastic toilet! I don't like this RV. I would have loved to have seen a walkthrough of the 21 XG. Without it I can't say anything about the cons in the 21XG.
Total cheap like an old mobile home pre 1976. A hugh NOPE!
Absolutely agree about the "outdoor kitchen" wasting valuable storage space.
I'm looking to park an RV in my driveway, live in it while I remodel my house. That kitchen being outside is not ideal
Not a fan of outside cooking, or the retractable bed. Other bells and whistle are cool
Disappointed that you didn't show the full interior of the other model.
Nothing i see can justify that price. It looks nice on the outside but that's about it.
Counter board is coorsa or cooser board if I have the spelling right. Used today on small boats such as small fishing boats meant for lakes and rivers mostly. Supper strong, never rots and just a great product when water is involved. Infact, stronger than plywood !
It's all about tank capacities. I recently took my 34'class A and camped for a week. The van RVs were hauling water to their RVs after about 3 or 4 days. That means they were stealth dumping grey water. These small RVs seem appealing, but a 70gal tank gives you a hot shower every day and much extends your trip.
If you are judicious with your water and tank use. It's amazing how long you can camp. ❤
Not everyone is comfortable driving a milk carton with a Windshield. That's why the smaller RV's appeal to many.
Way overpriced for how cheaply this thing is tacked together.
no rv should cost $139K
Wribg rv should cist $1.33 milion
The first model with cross storage missed the mark by NOT adding just one more door, on the back, so that your KAYAK idea would actually work. (Can’t fold a rigid kayak around a corner.) Yes, the second model had a door on the back, but NOT storage access on the sides. Manufacturers get SO CLOSE to the perfect combination, and then they STOP SHORT of the great finish. It is very frustrating to watch them continue to FAIL in design. Same with RVs that refuse to offer KING beds as an option, or better yet, make KINGS the standard. I’ve NEVER heard of anyone complaining that a bed was TOO BIG.
Do they have any class B+ with washer and dryer as well as a murphy bed
Underpowered engine. Rather have a v8 OR V10
Hall Anthony Smith Joseph Lopez Kimberly
I agree with your thinking Myles. Your what we say in Texas "mileing out" your truck with all your traveling. I think there is a better option out there. The showers tight but how much time you gonna spend in the bathroom anyway? Yeah porcelain is best! these 2 might work, but somehow, I think a darker painted/wrapped coach is more you. The search continues... 😁
Have a great day!
outdoor kitchen can do without, like them but not required, do want out door fridge however.
You are talking too much shit without coming to a point.
So are we all going to just ignore the blood on the floor of the shower?
Anti-freeze, that's used to Prevent water From Freezing.
@@RealRonnietheShinyRiolu I realize it’s not really blood, but why would antifreeze be all over the shower floor?
@@springheelmedia it drips out the shower head when the RV goes over bumps and whatnot. It’s in literally almost every single RV on a dealership lot that has been winterized and moved around.
@@mylesrv ahhhh ok. Thanks for the information. I really don’t know anything about RVs. I just started watching your channel a short time ago because I’ve become interested them and wanted to become informed.
It’s a baby RV you drive while waiting to afford a big boy RV!
Once you said ecoboost 👎
Eco bist best
Dude you should not have showed the blood in the shower and the disgusting toilet.
Where is the class?
@@robinbeard2572 it’s winterization fluid and it’s in the water lines of ever single RV on a dealership lot. Sometimes they leak out a little bit. It’s not a big deal, at all
You left me when you said 139,999.
Like having both lithium and generator.
Quit with the Yaall homeboy. So fake.
Like the bedroom area outdoor kitchen is fine
No place for a trash can! I would not buy a motorhome with no trash can space whether it had a outdoor kitchen or not!

Everything is positive in this wonderful small RV , love it! 🥸
These prices are just laughable.
I think it should be optional for the outside kitchen.
I apologize for my criticism in advance but the RV looks to be constructed with inferior quality materials. $139k doesn’t buy much these days. I would not buy this product
hate our outdoor kitchen HATE
Rv with a v6 eco is junk , needs a v8
I don't see the point of an outdoor kitchen. You're camping most people bring a BBQ grill when camping and if you're full timing would you ever even want to use the outdoor kitchen
Just commented that I never use mine and we full time We do keep the fridge stocked with water and Gatorade though for anyone outside that needs a hydration drink But a portable fridge would also work for that
Weirdly, they cheaped out on the ceiling vent fans; plus the cheapo Forest River pressboard cabinets. If you want to take it to places that don't have hookups you will be running that generator to cook anything. It would be better with a propane refrigerator, a stove with an oven, and propane heat.
Do not be afraid of putting miles on a Tundra. They were made to go upwards of 400-500k. They are built to last. You maintain her regularly, and she will perform. And they hold their value! Had one.
Where did you say you were?
