A loving and forgiving wife and a mother of two young boys repaid by being murdered by three ruthless and greedy people. They created so many other victims such as the boys, the parents of the murder victim and her friends and church associates. Poor June.
yes, but June was stupid for taking him back, and then giving him a penny. She should have never taken him back, waved good bye and moved far far away.
Well, you're just looking at her from the outside, and worse than that your view is obscured by her being only described in a few words here and there. Ask yourself, was she a control freak? Was she manipulative bordering on the sociopathic? Did we even get to know her (and what life with her was like) during this brief story? In the end perhaps the biggest point of takeaway was that both of the women in this man's life were, for all intents and purposes, the same woman repackaged. Appearance would lead you to think they were a 'strong woman' while in fact they were the weakest of all weakness. Domineering, cold, manipulative, callous, and most of all bitter. Finally what of the thought of the side story, the gal who blackmailed the guy who she was sleeping with when she was a teen? And what of the 4 children who never got to actually live, because of their decisions and the medical procedures he paid for? Nobody is a winner here, except for a Darwin award.
