The su27 in war thunder is one of the newest additions to top tier aircrafts in the air superiority update. Armed with r27er's and r73's it's the strongest vehicle at top tier currently, being capable of engaging effectively from far away and from up close.

@@Langermar Gaijin gimps nato jets every patch, gaps everyone in terms of missile capabilities so russia can dominate for half a year, and people are crying and saying they're appealing to westerners because their Su-27's flight model is a little off... GTFO of here....
The f-15 has the wrong radar, still uses the same Copy pasted Aim-7F's that they call aim-7M when we could have Aim-7MH, or Aim-7P that has access to datalink...like all russian long range missiles do and have had for over a year...It has no HMD, 2 less missiles, and no aim-120s...EVEN THOUGH they gave russia and china the r-27 ER series, which were literally built and designed for competing with the aim-120... They are definitely not appealing to western audiences and if you still believe that when I show even the most small bit of evidence like I have, of there being genuine bias, then you're out of your mind.

Idk man, AIM-9M’s are pretty much impossible to flare, ones good for dog fighting and the other most the time is just unflareable especially side aspect, I had one still hit me front aspect 3 kilometres even whilst pre flaring, R-73’s are pretty easy to counter if you pre flare or see them before 2 kilometres re aspect, front and side aspect they’re pretty easy to flare if they haven’t been in the air that long

R73 for short crazy shots

I like how all Western players cry non-stop and blame gaijin for improving Soviet aviation and ground forces. although su27 is much worse than mig29, you are still indignant. and the fact that your aim9m is not spent on countermeasures at all does not bother you. as well as the fact that now the reload time on Abrams is 5 seconds))
