In an Inside Edition investigation, Valerie Oliva revealed she was still groggy from anesthesia after having her wisdom teeth pulled when the dental assistant groped her. Video obtained by Inside Edition showed the assault at the dentist's office in California in 2016. "It was a devastating experience, something that no one should have to go through," Oliva said. #InsideEdition

I was sexually assaulted at the dentist when I was 10 years old unfortunately I was not under anesthesia. I was assaulted for over an hour by the dental technician waiting for the actual dentist to come in to pull out an infected tooth. No one believed me including the police until an article was put out in a local paper and two women had come forward who said when they woke up from being put under this guy had his hand in there pants. Long story short he got 8 years in prison.

What qualifies as 'minor'/underage is if the person in question is under the age of 18 (official age of an adult) from where I am. It doesn't just stop at 16.

One thing that I absolutely love about my dentist is that there's always two people with them. And also around the chairs there's absolutely no doors which is nice cuz that means someone can stick their head in and make sure the patients okay.
Had the same thing actually worse at a gynaecologists office. During an internal exam the doctor after inserting 2 fingers inside to feel my pelvic walls said I was very attractive and asked me if I was single. It was like being raped. I could not run out of there fast enough. Ironically the regular doctor was in the hospital after having contracted encephalitis and this was his temporary replacement. I had another doctor on a different occasion who also made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I now have a female doctor to make sure I never feel that way again.

The other issue is why the dental office wasn't aware of this sooner, they don't check the camera's often? In some way they're liable as well since this could have been cought sooner and reported to authorities.. glad he's behind bars.
It sucks. After I had my daughter by C-section, I could've been taking advantage of had it not been for my sister insisting on being present the whole time. Apparently I said and did things I can not recall. After the drugs wore off I had to apologize to a few ppl including my sis. But I can not remember at least 12 to 24 hours after I gave birth but I offended, hurt a few of the staff and even my sis on that day.
