This happened to me in college. I reported it to the police but nothing was done. I went to private lawyers when police did nothing and they told me, "This is a small town. People are going to say, "Why were you in his room" - they will blame you. We don't recommend you press charges or file a civil suit. This was in 1991. There wasn't even real therapy on campus. Nothing. It's haunted me for many, many years.

But unfortunately, if there is a consensual explanation for a man's semen / other sources of DNA to be on your body, and there are no defensive wounds or other evidence of a struggle, then it is an unsubstantiated claim. It is one person's word against another, and the court has to rule in favor of the defendant by default.

I half expected him to stop and is just go to bed if I couldn’t stay awake. But I kept waking up with him either without a condom or taking off the condom. Whispering in my ear talking to me like as if I said take it off and he’s like ok but I didn’t he was talking to himself... i wasn’t suppose to sleep over I was gonna be in trouble and I woke up at like 3am thinking I had to go home. I was completely naked about froze to death. He was passed out on the bed and so I tried to get up and get dressed but ow as still messed up. He had put the couch in front of the door and it took me like 40 mins just to get my clothes on and try to move the couch. But he woke up and I told him I had to leave. That took another hour And a half just to get in my car cause he was crying still messed up not wanting me to leave blocking my way to the car. I eventually was able to leave and sneak back in the house at 5:30am. But I never told anyone what happened that night..... I later broke up with him which took a grueling 6 months cause I was afraid how he’d act if I cut him off right away. I was trying to do it for the best of us, but he still tried to keep me in his room for hours and wouldn’t let me leave and kept throwing me down on the bed and wouldn’t let me up. And forcibly gave me oral, and tried to throw my car keys over the balcony and accusing me of cheating..... but I bet he still tells everyone he was the victim

This happened to me after a night of drinking! He recorded it & I found it. I had no recollection of it & felt angry humiliated and mortified. I wondered how many other times it had happened! He thought it was perfectly fine! I told him if he ever did it again I'd press charges! You wouldn't believe how many men do this to their wives and girlfriends while they're sleeping!

I take sleeping meds and my current boyfriend has done it to me and I only found out after I found pictures of myself on his phone nude and passed out with him doing things. So I don't know how many times he's done it, I'm scared and in denial about it.

It is one person's word against another, and the court has to rule in favor of the defendant by default.

I half expected him to stop and is just go to bed if I couldn’t stay awake. But I kept waking up with him either without a condom or taking off the condom. Whispering in my ear talking to me like as if I said take it off and he’s like ok but I didn’t he was talking to himself... i wasn’t suppose to sleep over I was gonna be in trouble and I woke up at like 3am thinking I had to go home. I was completely naked about froze to death. He was passed out on the bed and so I tried to get up and get dressed but ow as still messed up. He had put the couch in front of the door and it took me like 40 mins just to get my clothes on and try to move the couch. But he woke up and I told him I had to leave. That took another hour And a half just to get in my car cause he was crying still messed up not wanting me to leave blocking my way to the car. I eventually was able to leave and sneak back in the house at 5:30am. But I never told anyone what happened that night..... I later broke up with him which took a grueling 6 months cause I was afraid how he’d act if I cut him off right away. I was trying to do it for the best of us, but he still tried to keep me in his room for hours and wouldn’t let me leave and kept throwing me down on the bed and wouldn’t let me up. And forcibly gave me oral, and tried to throw my car keys over the balcony and accusing me of cheating..... but I bet he still tells everyone he was the victim
And with the last boyfriend one of the last times we ever got drunk together he chained me to his bed and had sex with me and said he was gonna leave me there all night and all day tomorrow til after he gets off work. I've been taken advantage of before. For a period of time I blamed myself, for putting myself in that predicament.
