While The Acolyte is not my favorite Star Wars show, and while it does have issues that have been discussed over and over throughout fandom, I enjoyed this final episode and I think the concluded the story they told to a satisfactory end. While still leaving it open for season 2.
You'll see that I definitely enjoyed seeing Yoda at the end. Regardless of what I or anyone thinks of the show, I will always enjoy seeing legacy characters show up in these shows. I think they handled Yoda's cameo perfectly.
You'll see that I have both praise and criticism of the show as a whole in my post reaction comments.

So she killed her "Sol" to become an Acolyte of evil. Have you ever heard of the tragedy of Padawan Osha? Not the greatest piece of Star Wars fiction out there but I enjoyed it and despite the hatred I'm hoping for a season 2.
Yeah i had my doubts that the Acolyte finale could be satisfying but i actually really enjoyed it. It did a great job concluding things with still leaving some questions and some would say major questions for a season 2 i feel there has to be a season 2 now. Over all i enjoyed this season i hope they learn from it and see some of fan complaints about the short episodes and pacing issues for season 2 and improve upon it if we do get one.
LOL When you saw Yoda, your laughter reminded me of Yoda’s laugh when we first saw him in The Empire Strikes Back. Great reaction!

People keep saying the Jedi are under the impression that there are no Sith, but Yoda and Mace Windu at the end of Phantom Menace clearly were aware of the existence of Sith. They knew about the rule of two as well, meaning the Jedi have likely had more than one encounter with Sith during the thousand years following the conclusion of the Jedi-Sith War in order to know there is always a master and an apprentice. The rule of two was started in secret by Darth Bane after the war so it's not a pre-war practice that could be looked up in the history archives. It may be information privy to only Grand Masters, but it's clear they know.
I agree with you and I've even made comments about why was Qui Gon(and other Jedi) so interested in the prophecy of the Chosen One. Especially when their interpretation was that the Chosen One would defeat the Sith and bring balance to the Force. What Sith? Obviously, Yoda and a few Jedi were aware of the possibility of the Sith being out there.
However. Until Darth Maul revealed himself to Qui Gon, the Sith remained hidden until the right time. So the reason I talk about thr Jedi not seeing a Sith is to stay consistent with the Sith remaining hidden.
@@smolsfamilyreactions The Sith had to have slipped up prior to Phantom Menace because the rule of two was started in secret. There is no historical data to get that information from. It has to be more than just the notion of a possibility. The Jedi would have to have encountered a Sith duo more than once to establish there is always two. There was no Rule of Two during the times of the Sith Empire. No Jedi would know about it if the Sith remained perfectly hidden.
Your channel has become one of my favorite reaction channels. There are a hand full of you that I truly look forward to seeing your reactions to Star Wars series. Your energy is so fun and entertaining. What I think is a highlight of the channel is how you always preface that you're a Star Wars fan and that you don't get caught up in the extreme divisiveness in the community. You have the potential to be right up there with the best of them. Keep up the great content! It's, pure and simple, really good.

It had some cool stuff, and it had some cringy elements. The storytelling was solid at times, and a little bumpy at other times. It was alright, and overall, enjoyable.

I think THE thing that a lot of casual fans miss, maybe even us older, more in-the-know fans, and what the more fanatical, vocal minority of the "fan"base fail to see or simply will not see, is that we, Literally, meet Jedi as a broken shell of an idea. A failed organization. I mean, we meet Ben and Yoda in exile over their failures. We also meet them telling "half-truths" and redacting the story "from a certain point of view" to fit their narrative. And we see that from the moment Ben Kenobi hands Luke that saber in a hutt on Tatooine....
But even in the prequels, if you watch closely, you can tell that the higher ups know more than they let on. Anakin even tells us, the audience, that there are things the Jedi are not telling him (us).... Yoda and Mace lament the "all too common trait of arrogance and hubris seen within their ranks and hint that this is nothing new.
When we meet the Jedi in the prequels they are firmly ensconced as a para political, paramilitary group that are fighting for their position, for their relevance and for their autonomy. But also fighting to maintain the all-powerful mystique...
Cover-ups as seen in this show make perfect sense for who the Jedi are and have become by the time we meet them in 1977. The Jedi have built up a mystique over a millennia by the time of Acolyte, and are afraid of losing their power and position and mystique of infallibility. So, it completely follows that someone might cover things up in order to maintain the myth of that infallibility--for the order, yes. But also for self. To passify their own cognitive dissonance.... And not necessarily in a malicious or nefarious way. But in a 'the road to hell is paved with good intentions' sort of way....
I definitely enjoyed the show and hope for a second season. I think it has earned it and that it deserves it.

If you notice, after Ki-Adi Mundi says, "But the Sith have been extinct for a millenium", Yoda immediately turns to Mace Windu and gives him a look. I think that they probably know something the others don't.
Bazil is just a weird little dude. Agree with your view of the show. It’s not always awesome, but certainly not terrible. There’s a lot of fun stuff in this show, despite some of the clunky bits. I enjoyed this show.
Good reaction and I loved your laugh at the end. Great ending to the series. I hope there is a second season. The fights were very well done. Light saber fights have come a long way since the original Star Wars movie.
Regarding your intro, any real media analysis includes discussing the good and the bad aspects of the things you are analyzing. It's fine to dislike a show but also acknowledge that it has some cool moments, or laugh at the things that are funny, or think they did one thing really well. It's fine to like a show but admit that it has obvious faults and hope that they fix those in the future.
There are a few channels that are so caught up in their dislike for things that they can only nitpick and try to tear it down. I don't see as many channels who are pure shills, but I'm sure they exist too.
This show was fine. It wasn't perfect by any means. They bungled large parts of the story. But they also did some REALLY cool things we've never seen in live action before, and the fight scenes were excellent, and Qimir is one of the better villains we've had recently. I hope they do have a season 2 so that we can get more background on the Qimir/Vernestra relationship and the Sith lore that they dipped their toe into with this show. But if they do a season 2, then they HAVE to fix their severe storytelling issues.

I enjoy your reaction videos. In my opinion, I think some people have lost sight of the fact that this is entertainment. It’s make believe. It didn’t really happen. You would think, given the sheer ugliness of comments being posted across social media, that this show has somehow ruined their lives. Like people were severely injured or betrayed. Maybe some folks are having trouble sleeping or can no longer function because of it. It’s sad and a bit silly. Star Wars fandom is huge. We don’t have to like everything. I don’t like everything and I’ve been a fan since 1977. I just wish people would dial down the hyper-negativity and stop with the insults. And start every post with “In my opinion…” Looking forward to your next reaction. May the Family be with you!

Idk about Vernestra... Like, it seems 'Qimir' was her padawan once and she didn't mention how he's still alive. Instead she puts it on Sol. She is the political Jedi character and i wonder how long she's been playing politics and what other lies she has told. I find it amusing that she is keeping the knowledge about 'Qimir' to herself as it might make her look bad if she let others know. Anyway i feel like someone should tell Vernestra that politics is a path to the dark side lol.
Anyway I hope they don't cancel the show because I'm into it now. I want to know more about this time period and these characters.

Well, here we are season 1 finale, in the books. This show presented some great concepts and ideas to explore within this Star Wars universe. I've been consistent throughout this season with my overall critique of the show from week to week. My overall feelings about the finale mirror those opinions as far as the main characters and the production of the show. In my opinion this would've been better as a film rather than an 8-episode series and I would've told the story in linear chronological order.
Once again, the fight scenes were the highlight of the show, with amazing choreography from the actors, stuntpeople and choreographer!
I too dig the onscreen politics of Star Wars. Andor being at the top of the list as far as the political intrigue was a masterclass in writing, casting and overall execution. The prequels along with the added addition of the animated series also handled the combination of the bureaucracy of the republic and the dogmatic aspects of the Jedi extremely well. This show, while presenting interesting ideas, lacked in overall execution and presented the flaws within the Jedi as individual incompetence rather than an overall regression into future mishaps further in the timeline. Also, if you're going to end with Master Yoda, that leaves more questions than answers as to why this even happened or his lack of involvement. I understand the timeline, but would he not be involved with the Jedi Council. We see Vernestra go to him for counsel, which would imply that he has some kind of seniority/wisdom/advice to glean from.
I have to disagree with you on one thing. This season finale didn't feel like an end to a series or this story. They left things unresolved, putting us almost exactly where we started back at the beginning. Switching places with our main character making Amnesia Mae the one that has to search for her twin (not really her twin) in season 2. This show also does a poor job of showing us the true events of what took place in the past then assigning blame by not bringing up all the events (THEY JUST SHOWED US) that lead to what happened. This feels like something the Jedi (any average working adult for that matter) could and should have easily explained to not only the council but to any politicians in the republic that might be fishing for ways to diminish the Jedi Orders standing. Again, conflicts within the Jedi Order aren't new to Star Wars. Other shows have successfully tackled these issues before and have done a better job at presenting a coherent story and connecting the events of the past and present in a way that make sense.
I'll end with this. This wasn't the worst Star Wars series to come out. I thought Kenobi as a whole was much worse. While I liked some things about the Ahsoka series (particularly the episode with Anikan Skywalker), I thought the second half, especially the way it ended was not good. That goes for season 3 of the Mandalorian as well. The Acolyte in its entirety, just wasn't for me. As I said before if this had been any other property not associated with Star Wars, I wouldn't have finished it. I'm satisfied with just ending things on that island with Osha and Qimir holding hands. I won't be back for seconds if and who's kidding when season 2 gets greenlit.
I'm ready for Andor season 2 and I'm interested in watching Skeleton Crew when it drops.
I can't disagree with any of your sentiments. I would have preferred this had been a movie with linear story telling and one director...preferably the director of the finale. I think my point about the story is that they finished the story of the 4 Jedi and the plot to kill them off. We found out why and at the end they were all eliminated. We are left with the Vernestra covering things up and open doors for more story telling...if ... and that is a big if... season 2 is greenlit. I would definitely want better production and flow for season 2 but I would not be disappointed if there is not a season 2.
I liked seeing Yoda...but man that can open up a big can of worms and continuing that story would make me nervous.

Thank you for remaining as fair as you did. One thing that many people are complaining about is the idea of a "vergence". Anakin IS a vergence in the Force, but the idea of a vergence isn't unique to Anakin. The cave on Dagobah is a vergence, the cave that Rey fell into on Ach-To was a vergence. I think the vergence the Jedi were searching for on Brendock was the cave the witches were chanting over. I think the mothers used the energy from that vergence to split the girls. I don't think they ever said that the girls themselves were a vergence, so they are not overwriting Anakin's origin.
The best parts of the show was definitely the choreography of the fights, the acting of Sol and Qimir, and seeing a kyber crystal bled in "real time".
The weakest parts of the show was the 2 flashback episodes (that should have been combined if not incorporated into another episode) and the messy storytelling. I love the idea of a murder mystery, but I spent most of the show confused and trying to figure out what was going on. Personally, I think there should have been at least one new revelation or hint in every episode. The twists that did happen were overly obvious and unsurprising.
Overall, I enjoyed the show, despite its many flaws. I'm sad that so many can't look past the flaws and acknowledge the good things it presented.
I agree with virtually everything you said.I have watched other reactors who enjoy Star Wars and who basically like the series , and yet many have said the same thing about combining the two episodes, and questioning the necessity of seeing the same event even from different viewpoints and perspectives? I have a simple question for you have you ever seen Akira Kurasawa's Roshimon? In a way it's fitting that Leslie took some inspiration from this seeing that George had taken so much inspiration from his films just as the Spaghetti Westerns of Clint Eastwood also did, basically not just taken inspiration,but Sergio Leon simply replaced a Samurai with a gunslinger! Most everyone I've ever spoken to has enjoyed that critically acclaimed movie ,where you see the same event from different people's perspectives and of course the quote objective perspective of a spirit, to show that all of their narratives are skewed from what actually took place. You know how that all adage goes, you have your story their story and then the truth of what actually happens ,because it's all seen through each individual subjective lens, so I didn't have a problem with them showing many of the same scenes from different perspectives because it shows how individuals observing the exact same event can take away completely different interpretations of what took place because it is totally subjective as demonstrated by all the varied and extreme opinions on this show itself, not to mention you could understand why soul may think that this environment was not the best environment for the children although I totally disagree!! Perhaps it would have been better to have had them back to back ,but I think then people would complain even more about getting 2 flashback episodes one after another ,but serious question if you seen the movie Roshimon did you like it or think that it was a waste of time to show the multiple perspectives of the same event? Or do you just simply think it wasn't done very well in this series? Because again everyone I've ever talked with considers that movie to be a classic but I'm sure like everything else there has to be some people that just didn't like it and I'm wondering if many of the people who have had issues with the repetition would have not enjoyed that classic movie and had the same issues that you have also would not like Roshimon
@@kylebrown6535 As a Japanese teacher, I have studied Rashomon a great deal. I LOVE the telling of things from different perspectives. It's one of the things I spend a lot of time emphasizing in my classes. Give me the Rashomon angles every time. I just meant that if you only have 8 episodes, spending all of two complete episodes in the past seems like a questionable use of time. I LOVED seeing the same things from the different angles, but there was also a LOT that didn't show much difference. One of the best things in Rashomon is how different the stories are from each other. They don't have much overlap, but that's how the different people remembered the events they experienced.
@kylebrown6535 I am familiar with Roshimon and it's influence in movies and TV. I have no issue with that mode of story telling and thoroughly enjoy it when done well. I do not believe this show implemented that type of story telling well which is why I think linear storytelling would have served this story better. I'm also very familiar with Kurisawa's influence on George Lucas and how that inspired some of the elements in Star Wars.
My issue is never with creative styles, but with the quality of the style chosen and how well it is executed. If executed well, I don't believe people would have many of the criticisms .

Slightly off topic but when you say you're a Japanese teacher I wonder does that mean you are of Japanese ancestry and you teach or you're someone who actually teaches the Japanese language? I understand your point of view it has been the majority opinion of the people who I've interacted with in the comments of other reactors who have actually enjoyed this series.For me I didn't mind seeing virtually the exact same event, but from a different angle both metaphorically and literally.Example when Master Sol sees OSHA and MAE being pushed to the ground with the force or as they call it the thread, he could easily misinterpret that and see that as abuse, whereas we as the audience seeing it from the supposedly objective viewpoint not just from a different camera angle,clearly realized that it's not although it is the exact same event shown the exact same way just again from a different perspective.As the audience our Viewpoint clearly shows that it is just to get their attention and to have them focus on their lesson, whereas many people seeing it from his vantage point might think pushing two kids to the ground by any means to get their attention is excessive especially someone who has a problem with the use of physical Force when reprimanding children. So I get it in Roshimon it's not just a matter of differing interpretations but completely different versions of the same event because you're seeing it through each individual's bias subjective lens ,whereas this was more subtle.I wasn't trying to make a direct comparison just was curious as to how many people in this case you, have actually seen it and if so whether they actually enjoyed it or thought it was repetitious.Clearly your grasp of the movie Far exceeds mine because something is always lost in translation and outside of saying hi to you at the beginning of this comment and actually using the word hi for yes I know nothing of the Japanese language although I have been fascinated with many aspects of their culture and yet those two words represent the full extent of my understanding of the Japanese language.One thing I must say,these conversations I've had because I seem to be in the minority with several other Star Wars fans who really have actually liked the overall story more than I have,have also had the same issue with those two episodes.This has inspired me to go back and watch that movie because it's been decades since I saw it and so my perspective will clearly be different from the last time I saw it because I was much much younger! It is a pleasant and refreshing change to have a discussion about Star Wars with a rational person who you can disagree with without being disagreeable and have rational interaction with someone with a different opinion without hearing the word woke, soyboy or Disney shill Namaste✌️

I’m sorry but a-lot of these “guardians of the lore” are so terrible that Lucas sold his baby to Disney. It’s fair to criticize but man they bombed review sites. They complain about “wokeness” and “Mary Sues” most them are doing it for money and views. I mean come on Dave knows the lore. Lucas trained him personally. Of course it’s okay not to like something. I was devastated by phantom menace and it took me years to accept it and remember this was made for kids.
Agree. I do believe there are some who truly and passionately guard and protect the lore while there are others that just hate for the views. I also believe this was a tidal wave. I've seen reactions and reviews from other channels that aren't normally excessively critical become critical because that was what was trending with this show. It became popular to hate on it.
There are issues with this show. And there are elements that are very close to "breaking lore" and it's okay to point those out. But it got to the point where many just entered into each episode minds already set to not like the show and hate on it.
That doesn't do any favors for the fans who have real and legitimate criticisms but that are not full of hate. It's sad to me.
Overall, this show was better than I expected to be. But I also want to see Lucasfilm do better. I know they can do better.

I suggest that you rewatch the scene in the cave with the Descriptive Audio enabled. It is an option in the Closed Captioning menus. It will explain what you saw.
I’m willing to bet that you may want to rewatch the entire episode, [if not] the entire season, with the Descriptive Audio track enabled. You might even want to rewatch other shows, too.
If you loved the “Darth Plagueis” novel, then you will also love the “Revenge of the Sith” trilogy of novels.
The three books in chronological order are titled “Labyrinth of Evil”, “Revenge of the Sith”, and “Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith.”
I do not know why “Darth Plagueis” was marketed as a separate story, because it fits so well with the trilogy of novels.
It creates two duologies: “Darth Plagueis” and “Revenge of the Sith”, and “Labyrinth of Evil” and “Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith”.
The novelization of ROTS tells a slightly different story compared to the film to wind up in the same place. It goes on in a significantly different direction compared to the film, one which I wish the film had followed.
Spoiler Alert: I think your assumptions are correct as to the identity of the being lurking the shadows of the cave. What follows is pure conjecture and probably false assumptions on my part.
Palpatine tells Anakin that the Jedi and Sith are almost identical in every way, except for a handful of philosophical differences. Here is the pecking order of ranks for Jedi and Sith in the Bane Era.
Jedi: Youngling, Padawan, Knight, Master.
Sith: Acolyte, Apprentice, Lord, Master.
The rank of Apprentice is not the same as being described as an apprentice, meaning student. In the Bane Era, there are always only two Sith, a master and an apprentice.
Qimir says that he had no name, which I take to mean he did not yet have a Darth name, which is given to Sith Lords.
A Sith Master’s apprentice is his Sith Lord. A Sith Lord’s apprentice is an Apprentice, much like Dooku and Asajj Ventress. Which brings us to the student of an Apprentice would be an Acolyte.
I had always thought of Qimir as being a Sith Apprentice, like Ventress. But the showrunner says that Qimir was an actual Sith Lord.
I liked your observation of how Venestra casually used the Force to open doors, which is behavior that is not consistent with being a Jedi Master. She is not using the Force for knowledge or defense.
We really do not know or have a canon explanation of how Shmi became preganant. The novel “Darth Plagueis” has never been canon.
Besides, Plagueis and Sidious could not conclude that their efforts to create life caused the Force to react against them, which resulted in Anakin being immaculately conceived.
While we may never know how the twins were created, I do not think they were a result of life being created out of thin air.
I think it is more likely that they are clones of Mother Aniseya, who performed some dark magic to fertilize a human egg, which Mother Koril carried to term.
BYW, the twins did not know the origin of the little rhyme they would sing. I suspect they are the words from the spell used to create them.
I consider myself a Wordsmith but I could not have said it better!!You nailed it 100%,for me anyway ,and that is ,I did not love this series, I did not hate this series ,but I enjoyed it as a Star Wars fan! I will say next to Andor season 2 this was the Star Wars property I was most looking forward to so in that sense it didn't come again in my opinion live up to expectations . I would love a season 2 so they could really dive deeper into the rise of dark side Force users who have evil intent shall we say as opposed to those witches who just happened to use it , AKA Darth Plagueis , that Glimpse ,teaser whatever you want to call it was not enough , did Qimir learn to tap into the dark side of the force from him after Jedi Master Venestris tried to kill him?? Or was he simply there on the lookout for OSHA or Mae to gain the knowledge of how the witches created them? Only a season 2 will tell ,but I honestly don't know if Disney unless they just want to give a big middle finger to the haters is going to Shell out that kind of money for a season 2 .As I said many times in the past within the diverse Star Wars fandom there is only one thing that every Star Wars fan has in common with one another besides the love of Star Wars and that is complaining about something in Star Wars! I have watched all your Star Wars and Marvel content reactions, and thankfully my belief you would give this a fair Shake turned out to be correct.In the process of looking for reactions today lo and behold a video from 4 months ago popped up on one of the shall we say haters channels,that said here comes another failed Star Wars property, so these people never had any intention of giving it a chance in the first place so everyone who did ,kudos to you ,whether you liked it or disliked it at least you didn't prejudge it! For them it was going to be a foregone conclusion and a self-fulfilling prophecy. And although I must say that I don't like confirmation bias so I like to get a variety of perspectives even those who I disagree with ,anybody who had in their thumbnail the word Woke or Star Wars is gay or lesbians in space or oh no they're using pronouns , or comparing a actress's skin pigmentation from the past to present day ,I didn't give the time of day , because even a negative response to their BS causes the RUclips algorithm to benefit them even more!! There were all kinds of things that I wish were in this series, but then again they were never promised to me so if something doesn't live up to my expectations because something that I wanted to see or hope for didn't come to pass, that's on me. I will say these were some excellent fight scenes ,both the hand-to-hand combat and the saber duels, I just wish there were more of them and I know Star Wars isn't just about lightsaber fights, but hey this isn't Andor which I enjoyed so since you're dealing with Force users I wanted to see more of that and also more saber combat! And I will also say I have felt the same way about every season including the first of the Mandalorian it wasn't the greatest from my perspective because it is 100% subjective ,I didn't lose my mind over a cute little doll I'm sorry animatronic puppet, but I did lose my mind when I saw Ahsoka, Who series from my perspective has been the best that Disney has come out with, but then again it's completely subjective I don't speak for anyone but myself and I just wish that others would realize the same, and that is although their may be a lot of people that agree with your perspective ,you don't speak for everyone so cut out the BS notion that all the fans hate this series. Again thanks for your fair and balance critique! Dude I wanted that lightsaber since I was 14 years old and have debated so many times should I spend money on a toy I mean a collector's item as an adult , yeah it definitely looks sweet! May the force be with you always!
Very well stated. All of it. You and I both know Lucasfilm can and should do better. But we also know that there are many things they do well and I'm willing to point out both. Praise where praise is due and criticism where criticism is warranted.
But you are correct, there are so many channels and reviewers out there that never gave this show a chance. They were committed to not liking it before the first epsiode aired.
I didn't like the comments and interviews coming out of Lucasfilm before the show started. I found it hard to connect with and appreciate the actors, writers, and directors comments leading up to and during the show. How could I? It seemed like I wasn't their target audience.
Okay...fine. it was then and there that I made the decision that I would give the show the best fair shake that I could. And with my low expectations, it actually turned out better than I thought it would and I found it enjoyable.
There are lore elements that I wish they would have stayed away from. But like I said, regardless of what they do with lore(good or bad) I will never let it affect the Star Wars I love.

What’s so frustrating to me about this show is that while it has such dizzying heights, it’s plagued by some confounding lows.
It’s a beautiful cinematic experience with spellbinding battles and amazing action. And yet so many strange character flip-flops and odd choices, horrible story flow & editing in some episodes. And so many beats in the story that require deep EU/Legends knowledge that will be lost, or worse, distracting, to more-casual fans. Sure, other shows have done that too, but they took the time and had the writing to further elaborate on them to make sure the entire audience knew the significance; Acolyte didn’t. Die hard fans may have gotten excited seeing Plagueis, but for people who don’t know what he’s supposed to look like, it’s just some weird creepy alien in a cave that doesn’t ever get explained. A show shouldn’t rely on deep EU knowledge or explanation from other fans for its audience’s comprehension of the story it’s trying to tell.
The overall arc? Sure, it’s fine. But it just wasn’t executed well in the tactical beats, and as such I don’t have a desire for more of this story, no matter that the ride was fine.
The lure was shiny, but the hook wasn’t set. Unfortunately.
I can't disagree with any of that!. I personally believe that the flashback episodes should have been 1 episode and been the first epsiode with the Plagueis reveal at the end of the first episode. Then build on his mystery for the casual fans but as confirmation for the fans in the know. The show really had great potential. But the numerous directors, some of which have no cinematic experience, and the ups and downs really kept this show from being great.

Surprise surprise constructive criticism, Have not see that Often when it comes to this Series!! As the Casual fan I have a vague notion who Darth Plagueis is.Starting with him being mentioned by Palpatine at the Space Opera to Anakin,but also from other Star Wars fans and Star Wars officionados Who really Know what's what because they've read all the books and novels and comics and played the video games none of which I have done. But I still was able to enjoy it not Knowing all the lore of the Star Wars Universe. Especially when it come s to this time period. For me the highs were definitely and I hate to say this because I usually like the storytelling, but it actually was the fights.The choreography was Movie quality I also enjoyed the CGI It was on par with unreal Engine 5. For me there weren't really Any lows, It just didn't live up to my expectation. I do think the editing could have been better and More concise.I also clearly wish there would have been more of what I liked. The reason I'm mainly disappointed is because I really feel they could have done so much more with 180 million dollars.I must say the Korean actor whose name escapes me who did an excellent job in Squid game,also did an excellent job in this.Especially when you realize that he didn't speak English Before this project Watching him go from a lovable character to a more complex character.I did enjoy The show overall ,but again for me I think this was a huge missed opportunity.Again I think they could so much better so to me it's not that it's crap but it could have just been way way better, han what it turned out to be. I doubt there'll be a second season just like She-Hulk that costs 200 million dollars.This was Almost as expensive and I know that they had planned on a second season for She-Hulk, but they axed it, Citing costs but I think the backlash had a huge factor and this got way way worse backlash,so I doubt it but if it were to come to pass I would definitely want them to Focus more on Qimir and his backstory.I never did really feel invested in Osha and Mae.

My two cents worth - this feels like a good, possibly great story, but with poor execution, sometimes weird choices. Will I watch a season 2? You betcha. And I'll be hoping they solve whatever issues they had making season one so mid
