I’ve wanted to 50-50 tails for a while. But round rails just felt too scary to jump on. So I’m starting with a nice wide square rail. Still took me a good bit to commit my weight onto it. I paid for it when the board smacked my shin. Now I can work on going a bit faster and grinding off the end.
Nice job, dude! When I was working on 50-50s on my parking block, I was just ollying onto it stationary, then put my board on it and ran up and jumped on the board and slid, then I finally tried some slow rolling ones. You stop, but at least I was getting it. Took a good 30mins of easing into it
Makes sense. I wish I could be one of those skaters who just jumps on things. But often I’m too scared to do that. Slow and steady seems to be how I get better haha

Thank you! Those are some good ideas.
nicee. try going in with more speed so there is less time for you to lose balance;)
Thanks! Haha most of the reason I’m going slow is because I’m scared. Kind of easing my way into it.
More speed = easier
(Try in static first)
