Amarant is actually a fantastic healer. He can learn the healer ability turning his melee attacks into free healing. So his melee will heal for aboutt the same as a Cure spell, givem high tide for fast trances and party wide aura, and you can still attack with chi-blast
Tantarian (book boss apologies if spelled wrong) can also be fought on disc 2! Actually a lot easier then disc 3 in my opinion as long as the book don't hit steiner or kill the party instantly!! Manipulate minus strike between 150 to 199 damage and the book will open each time! Keep some Ethers and Elixers and use Fira and Fire Sword while it's opened! Rinse and repeat! Good video!!
People tend to avoid doing it on disc 2 because during that time, you're on a clock and not everyone is up for running a time trial against a boss with a possibly underleveled party for the enemy in question.
@@Bruce_Fernandes it's understandable!! I prefer fighting it on Disc 2!! The only time I'll fight it on disc 3 is if I decided to go for a E2PG file or a maxed stats file since Freya doesn't get the proper equipment till disc 3!! Even then still losing a couple stat points!!
You might know already but from tantarian (book boss) item Running Shoes I think it's the same with Hades or you steal them from Hades one of the 2!! Otherwise I know Hades can drop a Pumice as well as Ozma I think you can get a Dark Matter from Ozma too or steal I guess!? Been a while since I've played last!! Quale honestly no idea other then he gives the gastro fork!! I don't have the patience to catch 99 frogs so I usually fight him last lol!!
That's Quale, Quina's mentor. You need to do Frog Catching with Quina until you get 99 frogs (which also powers up Quina's Blue Magic skill, Frog Drop, that he learns from eating a Gigan Toad). Once you do, Quale challenges you to a fight. I HIGHLY suggest stealing from Quale, so you get some nice equipment, namely the Robe of Lords and the Glutton's Robe. You also get Quina's ultimate weapon, the Gastro Fork, for beating the boss.
The 3rd fight is Hades. You can find him in the final dungeon, Memoria, in the underwater room, hidden behind the rocks on the right side of the screen. Once you beat him, he becomes a synthesis shop that you can use to obtain the Tin Armor (Steiner's best armor) among other things. But the main reason to fight him is to get the Tin Armor since it cannot be obtained anywhere else in the game. For a funny bit of extra dialogue, beat Ozma before going after Hades.
Just use reflect to ozma then spam dragon crest and frog drop or wing edge if your frog wasnt 99, while zidane stealing items on him, you only need to hit him 5x because he has only 45k+ hp, and I only use Zidane for stealing items on any bosses except final boss, without steal he is useless to me tbh
Tantarian in Alexandria Castle the library at the left,Quale in any Qu's Marsh, get 99 frogs,Ozma in the Chocobo's Air Garden, and lastly Hades is in Memoria in the Ocean room by walking right and examining the area behind the large rock and choosing not to leave when asked
Ridwan He can't one shot my party because I had auto life so he would need to do 2 Meteors in back to back turns and the odds of that is very low. One likely scenario though is Meteor followed by Curse that will more than likely kill your party. However my party setup decreased the odds of him using Meteor and Curse since I purposely had a party member that was multiple of 4 and 5 this way he still uses level 4 Holy and level 5 Death. I also made sure that one of my party members wasn't immune or absorb shadow so he also still does Doomsday. So with him still doing level 4 Holy, level 5 Death and Doomsday it really decreases the odds of him using Meteor and Curse which are his best attacks.
Tantarian is an optional boss in Final Fantasy IX. It can be found in Alexandria Castle's library, but there are only two chances to fight it: during the time the party is rescuing Garnet who is being held in the castle basement, and later when the party arrives to look for Garnet and Eiko during the Battle of Alexandria. If the player misses out on these two opportunities, Tantarian cannot be encountered again. It's a challenge to face Tantarian the first time the battle is available, because his highly damaging attacks can weaken the party quickly. In addition, battling him then eats away at the 30-minute time limit imposed on the party for finding Garnet in Alexandria Castle's basement. Tantarian can be found by examining the book case on the left in the library.
I feel bad for the people in the library trying to read while Zidane and his friends are fighting the book boss lol
😹😹😹

Thanks!
Thank you, and sorry I didn't respond sooner I just now saw your super thanks.

Yeah, quake is a good game.

Too dependant on Zidane.. Besides that, how many times did you get wiped by Ozma's Meteor opening? XD

@@RazerXPGaming That's the only way to go when fighting that guy to lower the odds of dying.
who the hell is Zidane? His name is Yitan.
In English it's Zidane lol.
Kyromancia
I beat Quale and Hades with zero equipment.
Quale I'd imagine is pretty easy without equipment. However defeating Hades without equipment is impressive good job.
Where do I find that first hidden boss?

The damage you do to it while closed, adds up, when it is between 150-200, it opens.
