Very helpful and well explained. I only would've liked to have the sheets to read them while you were playing.

Great tutorial, thanks for putting in the detail when breaking it down. Could you give a little info on how to count the riff? Thank you!

Is this why you should really refer to 1/8th notes as Quavers and 16th notes as Semi-quavers?

    • @WillDrumsDaly
      @WillDrumsDaly  2 года назад

Yep big time, it's a strange semantic we've got ourselves into as drummers haha

What the hell i'm here for the fill in not the beat, waste my time.

Apologies it wasn’t the part you were looking for. Is it one for the fills into the chorus’ you’re looking for?

@@WillDrumsDaly yes, im newbie. Anyway your beat really helps and good. next time please put the fills into chorus or all the fills in part of the song in your drum breakdown for a newbie like me. Thanks

      @@haroldprincezabarte5038 Hope this helps:
The 1st fill a bar long counted in 16th notes so:
      1 - - - 2 - - - - 3 e & a 4 e & a
      Rest Rest R L K K R L R L
      Rest Rest. S S B B S S S S
The 2nd fill is a whole bar long and more tricky because he puts a cheeky triplet in on the 'and of 1'
      so:
      - triplet -
      1 - (1-and-uh) 2 - & a 3 e & a 4 e & a
      R/L R L R K R L R L R L R L R L
      S S T F B S S T T T T S T F F
      ^
      Flam
Tricky to explain in a comment but hopefully it helps you out a bit more
