TTYD looks absolutely gorgeous, thank you for the review. Seeing the SNES like colour-coded buttons and grey analogue stick in battle animations gnaws at me a bit - perhaps we'll see this theme on the Switch successor (heard the speculation on this). I always play games in handheld mode. Nintendo classic games such as TTYD, Mario 64, Mario Sunshine etc always makes me wonder which controller would provide the best experience. I use a Satisfye grip which is very comfortable, perhaps a GameCube remastered game would suit better using a Nitro-Deck, Nyxi controller or an original OG GameCube-style controller. I am looking forward to continuing with TTYD, hopefully getting the 60 hours for completion. Meanwhile, the backlog continues to grow. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD soon, World Championships NES Edition a month later plus probably many other game announcements to be made in this month's Nintendo Direct. Absolutely MichaelJ, I was happy to be able to review it! I do personally believe the buttons are colored to match the Switch successor because there was 1-2 other games that showed colored buttons in the trailer. One of those games was 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Daybreak and what's interesting is the previous game in the series, Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie doesn't have the colored buttons. So take that info and combine it with the dataminers that uncovered the 3840x2160 resolution in TTYD's code, I'm pretty damn confident about this being a game that will at the very least in 4K on the Switch 2, probably even 60FPS. Very exciting to say the least! When I was capturing gameplay footage, I used the Pro Controller and played it on the big screen and when I wasn't, I used my GameCube Nitro Deck. For Mario 64, I use the official N64 controller released for the Switch by Nintendo. What's cool is you can also connect the N64 controller to your PC. For example, I was testing the new Majora's Mask 4K PC port and could play it on my PC with the N64 controller 🤌. For Mario Sunshine on the Switch, nothing really feels right outside of the NYXI Wizard Controller but I could never justify buying a controller for just Sunshine. Hopefully the NSO will add some new consoles like GameCube and Dreamcast. If they do, I'd hope they release official NSO GameCube and Dreamcast controllers. I hear you on that. I plan on the backlog and I growing old together😂 . I'm glad you are enjoying Paper Mario and I hope people give it a chance. I can't believe we are already in June. I haven't yet played that game but I did love Ocarina. Perhaps I'll get to Majoras Mask someday. I recently picked up a Nyxi Wizard, waiting for delivery.. I may not keep it as I would only use it with Sunshine and maybe Smash as I hear Gamecube controller is great with Smash too. Fingers crossed with GameCube or Dreamcast being available with NSO. I never had a d]reamcast but my uncle did. Loved playing it when I went to visit him when younger; big rumble boxing and crazy taxi always springs to mind. I was kinda confused at the time why Microsoft's label was printed on the console itself. I'm hoping we get a good direct, hopefully this week. happy gaming and it is good to see your channel grow with subscribers and content.
