This is a famous italian rapper named "Caparezza" and the title means "i dont understand a f*ck about life" in Italian without any spaces, the rapper is very controvertial, since he talks about very "fragile" arguments like politics and social status. Sometimes though he does say or do some weird stuff... (example = "mi sento stretto come quando inchiappetto un puffo" which translated means "i feel tight like when I'm having sex with a smurf", the song in question is "fuori dal tunnel")
actually the name is just a full sentence and it should be read IO DELLA VITA NON CI HO CAPITO UN CAZZO and it traduces in I DIDN'T UNDERSTOOD A FUCK ABOUT LIFE wich is the theme of this song where he complains about the fact that he is anything but normal and considers himself crazy Was that a good explanation for you?
I dont know what you’re talking about, when i first saw this video i screamed so hard and wet myself to the point a dermatologist had to come over to rehabilitate me and put me on life insurance
Little contest given from an italian here: the song was made close to when he started out his music career (or at least, around the time he started to get popular). People who were not a fan of his music started going around calling him a "nutjob" or "someone who didn't understand shit about life". In response to those people, he made this song where he was like "You know what? You're right. I am a nutjob. I am someone who didn't understand shit about life. But you know what? I dont care."
The old man is his grandpa in the video, one of the verses goes "i bring shame to the family surname / worse than when my grandfather showed up drunk to my communion"
RIDO MA PIANGO DI GUSTO SE VEDO IL BELLIMBUSTO PALESTRATO E LAMPADATO AL PUNTO GIUSTO IO CHE TRA LE CIOCCHE C'HO IL FANGO DI WOODSTOCK PUZZO ACCUMULO PER ORE SUDORE CHE SPRUZZO AMO LE DONNE CHE SANNO DI MERLUZZO
You see, the title is actually a pun. Caparezza is one of the most mind-blowing artists I've ever heard, and I've heard some crazy ones (I'm pointing at you, Stockhausen crazy bastard). If anyone is interested in a little introduction I've been listening to him since I was little so here's some context: Caparezza is from Puglia, this is important as information because many of his songs focus on the degradation that exists in the south or more generally throughout Italy. An example is the very famous "Vieni a ballare in Puglia" (Come to dance in Puglia), a song that talks about an abandoned city, where the citizens suffer but which the Italians (zero ability to understand the lyrics) believe is a hymn to the country. Another example is Goodbye Melancholy. It talks about the "fuga di cervelli" (people with degrees moving out from the country) in Italy and the drama for those who love their country but are forced to leave. There are always incredible puns in his lyrics, many of which I understood after years. His albums can be defined as concept albums and each has its own specific plot ♦️?! Is the first one. Before becoming Caparezza he was a mediocre Sanremo singer. He made love songs hoping to make it big. He locked himself in his garage for four years trying to compose something and in the meantime his hair grew, from that period was born "?!" ♦️Verità supposte: ''Supposed truths'' is obviously a play on words. It talks about all those truths you take for granted, which because they are supposed you have to shove up your ass. (I recommend the following from this album: Io vengo dalla Luna, Nessuna razza, Jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo) ♦️Habemus Capa Is the most...difficult. But truly beautiful. It focuses on the theme of contemporary society, with particular attention to the media, politics and religion. The title itself plays on the concept of "Habemus Papam", used to announce the election of a new Pope, transforming it into "Habemus Capa" to indicate the protagonist Caparezza as a sort of "Pope of music". Each track addresses different social and cultural issues in a satirical and critical way. (I recommend "la mia parte intollerante" and "Torna catalessi"). ♦️Le dimensioni del mio caos The album begins with Caparezza holding a concert talking about 68 (the year of student protests in Italy) looking at its strengths and hypocrisies. During the concert he opens a temporal portal and ends up traveling to various eras. It's an incredible album with crazy songs like "Bonobo Power", poignant enough to make you cry "Eroe" or politically smart as "Ilaria Condizionata". ♦️ il sogno eretico The Eretic Dream is his last album before what seems to be the most research and discovery phase that he is implementing lately. The term "heretic" is used to denote an individual who deviates from accepted beliefs and conventions, and in this case, Caparezza challenges institutions and social norms with his songs. The album deals with topics such as media manipulation, political corruption, the search for truth, freedom of thought and the fight against oppression. Using his music and his lyrics, Caparezza invites the listener to reflect and question the power structures and values of contemporary society. (I highly recommend Messa in Moto, La ghigliottina, Goodbye malinconia and La fine di Gaia") ♦️"Museica" is crazy. As the title says, it is a museum where Caparezza takes you through music into the world of art. He talks about what art is for him, about the Dadaists, about Van Gogh, about Giotto... It's an incredible fever dream. For example: we have a song about Filippo Argenti (of the divine comedy) metal and "teste di modì" which talks about a group of young guys who counterfeited works of art to demonstrate the hypocrisy of the critics (real fact). (Avrai ragione tu, China Town, teste di modì) ♦️709 is a strange album. And it's also the album with which Caparezza announces his tinnitus, which is why we suspect he won't do any more concerts. "709" is the serial number of a prisoner who finds himself dealing with reality. It talks about gender violence, the imprisonment of illness, depression... (Una chiave, Ti fa stare bene, Larsen) ♦️We are finally finished with the last album. Exuvia, the abandoned pack of cicadas, talks about the change that began with 709. Here the artist comes to terms with his past of which he is ashamed (Sanremo rapper) and begins a more conscious path. It's the beginning of a new chapter. (Exuvia, Eyes wide shut, la scelta). Thanks for your time if you've read this far, he's one of my favorite artists and I could talk about him for hours! If anyone listens to them, tell me if and which ones you liked! I recommend everyone to read the lyrics because they are truly incredible, enjoy listening (sorry for possible typos)
Also “vieni a ballare in puglia” is not about an abandoned town, it’s about the awful state the region of Apulia (and by extent the whole southern part of Italy) is in. He mostly talks about industries that pollute the territory and don’t respect the safety standards. Look up “ILVA Taranto” to see the most blatant and horrible example
This was actually one of the first videos I ever watched on RUclips. This and Fuori dal tunnel got me hooked on Caparezza to this day and I'm not even from Europe. His music is all great but imo his second and fourth albums are masterpieces.
Dude this is my childhood, Caparezza is a crazy sick artist, his music is fire, i own literally every single album by him, and some special edition vinyl too. God bless Caparezza
Im so happy Caparezza is finally getting the widespread recognition he deserves, he is a national legend, and is and was ahead of its time with his lyrics. Good video man!
This is a very popular song by a very famous Rapper/Singer-Songwriter in Italy, Caparezza. The song itself talks about how he's paranoic about his life and his anxiety about not fitting into society (he has a lot of songs with this topic) but said in a very fun way, and with some of the most fire rhymes of Italian hip hop
Ironically it was this video randomly popped into my recommendations. The song’s name reminds me of Prisencolinensinainciusol, which also happens to be by an Italian artist. Even though that song is composed of vaguely English sounding gibberish.
Honestly, if I'm gonna pontifsterbate about this, I did further digging. I looked up translations and this song is about a guy who is labeled mentally ill because he doesn't fit in with the group. Which is essentially the italian equivalent of "Just Lose It" by Eminem. However, it should be worth noting that this song was released by a european record label called EMI Records. Bit of history, EMI Records was the original record label that published music by The Gorillaz. That being, a long running animated band using elements of CG and 2D Animation together with characters. Yes, EMI Shut down shortly after plastic beach and then Gorillaz went on hiatus before going indie after, But EMI is what their most popular early music and music videos (Dirty Harry, Feel Good, Stylo, 19 -2000 ) are associated with. I assume because Cracker Island has taken off as an album and Gorillaz are associated with EMI, The RUclips Algorithm saw an animated music video published under the EMI label and figured "fuck it y'all like this right?" honestly this song does go hard and I kinda want to hear an english cover.
I knew that EMI was both Caparezza and Gorillaz's first record label but never really made the connection... if you put it like this, it makes a lot of sense
I like it when RUclips's algorythm actually suggests something that deserves more attention. This kinda reminds me of the Plastic Love song that was also one day suggested to non-japanese speaking audiences, introducing them to a whole new genre of music.
Caparezza is truly the best Italian rapper! His texts are extremely complicated for someone that doesen’t know Italian tough, as he uses very clever puns, metaphores, difficult-to-grasp references and other very cool stuff that help make his songs unique.
it's actually pretty famous here in italy, obviously not as famous outside of the country, also in order to understand most of caparezza's songs you would need to listen to the previous ones in chronological order
Guys, I’m Italian. This song’s name means “I don’t understand a fuck about life” the singer is Caparrezza and he’s a very famous singer. Many people think his music sucks and many people say he’s a🥁🥁🥁COMMUNIST!
Nice to see Caparezza outside of Italy! Here, we consider his music outlandish, not because he's bad or something, but because, compared to other italian musicians who make either bland trap music or lyrics with nothing inside, when he writes a song he writes either about his rebirth as an artist (He went from a goofy nobody who sang at San Remo called Mikimix to someone who didn't give a single fuck about what others liked, only about his style) or the state of society (Fuori dal tunnel - Out of the tunnel - was, for example, a song about the bland life of those who go every single weekend out to disco, meanwhile La mia parte Intollerante - The side of me who's intollerant - Talks about the bulling his peers and teachers did on him because he was more introverted). Most of the lines he writes have multiple meanings and, in my opinion, he's one of the few italian musicians who really know how to mix poetry and music! You should also check stuff like "Torna Catalessi", "Avrai ragione tu (You may be right)" and Vieni a ballare in Puglia (Come dancing in Puglia, there's a cameo from my man Albano)!
the name of the song is a pun: a jodel is a music genre that you hear in this song and its pronounced "iodel", which sounds like the italian words "io del" (in this case its "della" since "vita" is a female word)
well, as an italian, I surely wasn't expecting this video to pop out! in italy, that's a very known and memed song and his creator, caparezza, is also known for making strange or funny song with kinda deep meaning the title of the song, jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo, is literally a frase that translates in "i understand a f*ck about life", where the word "jodel" is a word pun between the words "io del" and "jodel" and, to finish it off, the song talks about some crazy dude complaining about is life, while trying escaping a psychiatric hospital the first phrase (io non do spettacolo io faccio spettacolo come mio nonno ubriaco il giorno della mia comunione) talks about his grandpa being drunk during his communion day, and it's connected to the final part of the animation, the one with the guy with white hair, being his grandpa the jodel part, from what I've understood, just represents the fact that life for this guy, is pure nonsense, just like life, and also represents his crazyness and yes, the video had million of views since his publication if I remember anything else, I'll add it to the already written message (also sorry for bad english but- I'm italian as I said) ah e forza juve e napoli monnezza
oh hey that's me in the comment section in the video yipee but yeah most of the video is overall accurate (italian pronounciation apart) and yeah caparezza is a pretty popular singer in italy, I'm pretty sure most of the views were before it blew up
As an Italian caparezza is my favourite singer and jodellavitanoncihocapitouncazzo is my 2hd favourite song and 2 things a second animated video was uploaded for the song "Campione dei novanta" wich isn't CGI but 2D aniamtion and the second thing here it is the whole text in english: I don't put on a show, I put on a show like My drunk grandfather on the day of my communion So crazy That I have relatives who are not at all happy about bearing the same surname as me Leave me the presumption Of feeling like manure Sometimes hard, sometimes slurry No desire for fame, I'm starving No place at the table, I have a bowl like a dog I bark for a couple of dishes I beg for I could be angry but I forget A real doctor is next to me, he tells me “Don't you realize you're becoming schizophrenic?” Shut up doctor It costs me dearly I'm worth zero And don't call me an artist, but a bullshit It's clear? I'm a dick at heart I'm happy in fact, I should cry and instead I'm sick but on the one hand I don't give vent to victimization A Mirko, with all the trappings Licia kiss me I aspire to an Oscar, but the one for aphorisms I had to shower but they gave me a Frisbee And I smell like crap I drink freely Escaped my fate as a stowaway in a hull Eyes wide as an owl I build tuff on tuff a future that sees me as a UFO I'm sure I'm bored I swear on every tuft I should blow my own trumpet for how many times I snort If I dive into my idea I find myself holding my breath in a tide of diarrhea I find it funny I am alive but I don't live because I breathe I only feel alive if I take out the stylus and write When I was born I didn't understand And now that I still don't understand, all I have to do is I laugh but I cry heartily If I see the handsome, well-built and well-groomed guy I, who have Woodstock mud in my locks, stink I accumulate sweat for hours that I spray I love women who taste like cod More than showgirls with sequins and ostrich feathers I roll into a nest egg of joy Even if I don't spend the summer having fun on the beach I'm the reigning champion shit But my skullcap is as hot as lava rock And in the music cheating competition I'm in the game with a two of spades up my sleeve The only certainty is that I'll end up badly Caparezza dies, everyone at the funeral It's paradoxical But I'm not coming, I don't care Mom how many records will they sell if I shut down (Doctor, in the operating room)
This song appeared in my recommended less than a week ago and I've already gone back to listen to it on 5 different occasions, so I was waiting for something like this to explain wtf I keep listening to
I am an Italian and I find really funny that right now there are a lot of americans that are watching this video without any idea of what is it. Caparezza is a good artist and in my opinion the text of his songs are realy peculiar. I wish that this song goes viral in america because I wanna see the reaction of Caparezza.
This popped up on my feed too a few weeks ago. Then I went down the rabbit hole and now my favorite rapper doesn't even speak English and I have no idea what he's saying xD
i found this out that the video never was available in the us, and only recently they made it available worldwide and the algorithm picked it up cuz it was a popular artist in italy. buts it's being recommended to a american audience?... and that's where I get stuck, its being recommended to people that mostly can't even speak Italian. sometimes the algorithm can be weird.

The Eretic Dream is his last album before what seems to be the most research and discovery phase that he is implementing lately.
(I highly recommend Messa in Moto, La ghigliottina, Goodbye malinconia and La fine di Gaia")
♦️"Museica" is crazy.
(Avrai ragione tu, China Town, teste di modì)
♦️709 is a strange album. And it's also the album with which Caparezza announces his tinnitus, which is why we suspect he won't do any more concerts. "709" is the serial number of a prisoner who finds himself dealing with reality. It talks about gender violence, the imprisonment of illness, depression...
(Una chiave, Ti fa stare bene, Larsen)
♦️We are finally finished with the last album.
I recommend everyone to read the lyrics because they are truly incredible, enjoy listening
(sorry for possible typos)
Caparezza lore goes hard
@@mondopatrickCaparezza's narrative arc can be summed up as: he was bald.
STOCKHAUSEN MENTIONED
“Il sogno eretico” is a play on words too, “heretic” and “herotic” are very similar words, so “sogno erotico” would mean a wet dream
God bless Caparezza
yeah this songs a banger so understandable
lol, im italian and that it's same for me
@@mondopatrick hear the avrai ragione tu
comprensibile
Italian here. 3 am. Happy to see people outside Italy discovering Caparezza. Always thought this was gonna happen somehow. RUclips really is amazing.
The title is not a single word in Italian, but is a mix of words without space
“Serj Tankian has really let himself go” had me dead 💀💀
Im so happy Caparezza is finally getting the widespread recognition he deserves, he is a national legend, and is and was ahead of its time with his lyrics. Good video man!
Thanks for the kind words
I speak Italian and the way you pronounce the titles is genuinely hilarious
Haha fr
hahaha
Whe he said "tai fa star bini". Lol
"chepariza"

FINALLY SOMEONE MADE A VIDEO ABOUT IT
I keep on listening to this song for 8th day in a row.
Same
This is a very popular song by a very famous Rapper/Singer-Songwriter in Italy, Caparezza.
The song itself talks about how he's paranoic about his life and his anxiety about not fitting into society (he has a lot of songs with this topic) but said in a very fun way, and with some of the most fire rhymes of Italian hip hop
also "Caparezza" in Puglia's dialect means literally "curly head", his appearance is a great part of his aesthetic
Never thought I’d ever get randomly recommended an Italian rap song about a schizophrenic, but I really wasn’t expecting it to be a banger
i got this randomly reccomended me one day
Ironically it was this video randomly popped into my recommendations. The song’s name reminds me of Prisencolinensinainciusol, which also happens to be by an Italian artist. Even though that song is composed of vaguely English sounding gibberish.
Lol There are some songs like this, Pretty funny Crap
0:07 yep, I often get on the fyp a random award winning animation from at least a year ago that doesn't go away till i watch it
watch it and break the curse, maybe it's your fate to discover it
I just got this too, and I'm already being introduced to the lore not even 5 minutes in to knowing its existence
I assume because Cracker Island has taken off as an album and Gorillaz are associated with EMI, The RUclips Algorithm saw an animated music video published under the EMI label and figured "fuck it y'all like this right?"
honestly this song does go hard and I kinda want to hear an english cover.
pontifsterbate isn't a word
@@Jotki it's a combination of existing words, pormonteu
Pontisfterbate lmaoooo
Same energy as "philosophically mast*rbate"
I would love an English cover.
“Tai fae staere beanæ” is crazy
Yes he doesn’t understand a fuck about life but he doesn’t talk about himself in the asylum or his subconscious ( it’s only visual )
as an italian i love the fact that random pieces of italian internet usually make it world wide kind of like the "ATTENZIONE PICKPOCKET!!"
so we all got recommended this all at once?
yep
Yeah
Not me
This is only the tip,you (probably) haven't seen the shitposts yet
it's actually pretty famous here in italy, obviously not as famous outside of the country, also in order to understand most of caparezza's songs you would need to listen to the previous ones in chronological order
i hope this song becomes popular even outside of italy
me and my bro are obsessed wit it now so its getting there
Guys, I’m Italian.
You should also check stuff like "Torna Catalessi", "Avrai ragione tu (You may be right)" and Vieni a ballare in Puglia (Come dancing in Puglia, there's a cameo from my man Albano)!
honestly really glad i got recommended that video, caparezza turned out to be an insanely good artist that i still listen to other than that song
My favorite part is when they try to drown him and he says "amo le donne che sanno di merluzzo" (translated means i love women how smell of fish)
xD
The yodelling mini version of himself feels like it was ripped right out of veggietales.
This video DOES feel like an acid trip, like you mentioned. But not a bad one, at that.
Thank you! This appeared in my recommended and I NEEDED ANSWERS
CAPAREZZA MENTIONED RRAAAAAAHHHH 🗣️🗣️🗣️ 🔥🔥🔥🔥
the name of the song is a pun: a jodel is a music genre that you hear in this song and its pronounced "iodel", which sounds like the italian words "io del" (in this case its "della" since "vita" is a female word)
i got this right video and jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo right next to eachother
that is awesome
literally has popped up on my recommended 10+ times this month
This song goes so hard tho. Btw, the yodelling is a sample of Franzl Lang, I just cant remember what song it was
The song from Franzl is ‘Aus freude am leben’
Ahhhh, thank you
"Tai fa ster bini." I'm crying.
well, as an italian, I surely wasn't expecting this video to pop out!
in italy, that's a very known and memed song and his creator, caparezza, is also known for making strange or funny song with kinda deep meaning
the title of the song, jodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo, is literally a frase that translates in "i understand a f*ck about life", where the word "jodel" is a word pun between the words "io del" and "jodel"
and, to finish it off, the song talks about some crazy dude complaining about is life, while trying escaping a psychiatric hospital
the first phrase (io non do spettacolo io faccio spettacolo come mio nonno ubriaco il giorno della mia comunione) talks about his grandpa being drunk during his communion day, and it's connected to the final part of the animation, the one with the guy with white hair, being his grandpa
the jodel part, from what I've understood, just represents the fact that life for this guy, is pure nonsense, just like life, and also represents his crazyness
and yes, the video had million of views since his publication
if I remember anything else, I'll add it to the already written message (also sorry for bad english but- I'm italian as I said)
ah e forza juve e napoli monnezza
Cringe zì
if this is a acid trip, then you should see "fuori dal tunnel"
It doesn’t seem scary, I just find it charming lmao
not scary just strange
@@mondopatrick*Weird
I literally just found the original video, watched it, clicked the back arrow and then found this video
oh hey that's me in the comment section in the video yipee
but yeah most of the video is overall accurate (italian pronounciation apart)
and yeah caparezza is a pretty popular singer in italy, I'm pretty sure most of the views were before it blew up
Haha nice
Got this recommended to me and it already turns into my favorites to listen while in midnight
As an Italian caparezza is my favourite singer and jodellavitanoncihocapitouncazzo is my 2hd favourite song and 2 things a second animated video was uploaded for the song "Campione dei novanta" wich isn't CGI but 2D aniamtion and the second thing here it is the whole text in english: I don't put on a show, I put on a show like
My drunk grandfather on the day of my communion
So crazy
That I have relatives who are not at all happy about bearing the same surname as me
Leave me the presumption
Of feeling like manure
Sometimes hard, sometimes slurry
No desire for fame, I'm starving
No place at the table, I have a bowl like a dog
I bark for a couple of dishes I beg for
I could be angry but I forget
A real doctor is next to me, he tells me
“Don't you realize you're becoming schizophrenic?”
Shut up doctor
It costs me dearly
I'm worth zero
And don't call me an artist, but a bullshit
It's clear? I'm a dick at heart
I'm happy in fact, I should cry and instead
I'm sick but on the one hand I don't give vent to victimization
A Mirko, with all the trappings
Licia kiss me
I aspire to an Oscar, but the one for aphorisms
I had to shower but they gave me a Frisbee
And I smell like crap
I drink freely
Escaped my fate as a stowaway in a hull
Eyes wide as an owl
I build tuff on tuff a future that sees me as a UFO
I'm sure I'm bored
I swear on every tuft
I should blow my own trumpet for how many times I snort
If I dive into my idea
I find myself holding my breath in a tide of diarrhea
I find it funny
I am alive but I don't live because I breathe
I only feel alive if I take out the stylus and write
When I was born I didn't understand
And now that I still don't understand, all I have to do is
I laugh but I cry heartily
If I see the handsome, well-built and well-groomed guy
I, who have Woodstock mud in my locks, stink
I accumulate sweat for hours that I spray
I love women who taste like cod
More than showgirls with sequins and ostrich feathers
I roll into a nest egg of joy
Even if I don't spend the summer having fun on the beach
I'm the reigning champion shit
But my skullcap is as hot as lava rock
And in the music cheating competition
I'm in the game with a two of spades up my sleeve
The only certainty is that I'll end up badly
Caparezza dies, everyone at the funeral
It's paradoxical
But I'm not coming, I don't care
Mom how many records will they sell if I shut down
(Doctor, in the operating room)
If you want more info I'm here
I appreciate you
Bel lavoro, complimenti, io non sarei riuscito
This song appeared in my recommended less than a week ago and I've already gone back to listen to it on 5 different occasions, so I was waiting for something like this to explain wtf I keep listening to
it keeps popping up and all i can think is italian serj tankian
DISORRDERR DISOOOOOOOORDERRRRRRRRRRRR
I am an Italian and I find really funny that right now there are a lot of americans that are watching this video without any idea of what is it. Caparezza is a good artist and in my opinion the text of his songs are realy peculiar. I wish that this song goes viral in america because I wanna see the reaction of Caparezza.

I’m really glad I came across it, it’s a great mid-2000s time capsule and I find it quite catchy
I only understand a little bit of the lyrics because I speak Spanish but it's lowkey fire ngl
Listening to english trying to speak italian breaks me, im happy you liked one of my favorite Italian artists
The tittle is actualy means "I don't understand shit about life"(Jodel la vita non ho capito un cazzo) the Jodel part is word play for the Yodeling
This popped up on my feed too a few weeks ago. Then I went down the rabbit hole and now my favorite rapper doesn't even speak English and I have no idea what he's saying xD
That song is a masterpiece
caparezza being called obscure is so funny for italians

Growing up in the 2000s, the old CGI really got to me. Very nostalgic.
Caparezza è amore
Caparezza è vita
Даже переводить не надо, чтобы понять, что написано
i found this out that the video never was available in the us, and only recently they made it available worldwide and the algorithm picked it up cuz it was a popular artist in italy. buts it's being recommended to a american audience?... and that's where I get stuck, its being recommended to people that mostly can't even speak Italian. sometimes the algorithm can be weird.
I'm a punk but that song sounds so fucking good and It's also funny af that it looks like Serj Tankian
i'm from italy and i can say that this song has been on my favourite playlist from it's creation XD it hits hard and it hits well, always enjoyable
