Public/Info Session for Proposed air permit for Michigan Potash Operating, LLC - 1.16.2025

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Air Quality Division, (AQD) held an informational session and public hearing on January 16, 2025, at 6:00 pm, for a proposed air permit requested by Michigan Potash Operating, LLC to build and operate a new facility near Schofield Road and 120th Avenue in Evart Township, Osceola County. The company is requesting produce sodium chloride (salt) and potassium chloride (potash). The comment period will remain open until January 27, 2025.
