Davinci Resolve 18.5 just added USD support, which makes it super easy to import and work with 3D models. In this Davinci Resolve tutorial, we'll dive into Fusion and take a look at how to import and work with USD files in Davinci Resolve.

When I exported my usd from blender, the key frames I added in blender didn’t come along with it. Is there a way to tweak this in dav so that I can make my usd file zoom in and out on key frames?

Everytime I transform the background it disappears partially
DaVinchi isn't meant for 3D, using a program like blender is much better because blender actually has like a good compositor [actually, blender's compositor is competitive with fusion considering it's open source] And as a 3D software actually is usable for 3D composition.
you need a shadow catcher on the ground plane to sell it.
Agreed. The USD system in Resolve doesn’t have one yet, like I said at the end of the video.

I am on the iPad. Why is there no USD system?
Because the iPad version doesn’t have the Fusion page. The only officially supported pages on the iPad version are Cut and Color
@@JayLippman Yes, but I unlocked them. This is literally the way I keep making money, because I have unlocked them with the commands. And on the Fusion page there is no such thing as USD.
18.5 is still in beta, and I doubt you’ll get it on the iPad until the full release, and even that’s a long shot. Most likely BMD will lockdown the other pages in the next big update. They were never meant to be used on the iPad.
Unpopular opinion: 3D tracker is easier than what you did with the Tracker node here.
Yeah but at the time this video was made you couldn't connect USD with the 3D tracker.
