Hey kid !!!! Nice job!!! You have inspired the beginning of my most recent video.....Thank you!!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎✅
ummm... .125 like point one two five
What is the name of this gold pan I cannot find it anywhere and it’s not in the description
My dad would have said, “It’s like pickin’ fly shit out of pepper..”
Nice!
Seems like this bag would be good for testing equipment. I.e. run it through a sluice and see how much gold you catch, how much you miss.
That's true!
Well said! While in treatment for alcoholism, I had my pan. Great stress relief!
Nice!
That's a typical day prospecting in washington state 👍
Mate love your channel and love how your trying to help people with ptsd and anxiety keep up the amazing work you do kind sir.
Thanks
Sweet Shane, a great show of patience and skill !!!!
Me and my wife just recently got into prospecting. We stumbled across your videos just searching for random prospecting videos. And I think we have binge watched almost every video lol🤣🤣.. keep up the awesome work man love the videos..
man, that looked tuff, i compliment your patients . nice video as always . when you comn to hangtown.
That looked like a tough one a little more advanced then my panning knowledge, some day🤔
I NEED A FINISHING PAN FOR CHRISTMAS. 😎 THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.
Thanks for the upload, been surfing around looking for something good to watch. I’ve actually done this challenge but since I have a problem with patience it didn’t work out so good. Right now it’s sitting in a glass jar waiting for the day I can actually do it 😆
Nice!
Great video as usaul. Hopefully you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving.
Really enjoy your paydirt reviews.
Another good video. Thanks. This is another favorite paydirt I really enjoy panning. Yep, I'm also a vet and I find it's very relaxing for those times you get stressed. Nice thing about it is that you have a fixed amount of gold in it so you can tell how good your panning skills are when you weigh your totals.
I agree utahavalanch, and thanks for watching!
Been watching your vids for a while you have inspired me to start gold panning just got to buy the kit to get started
Nice!
You most welcome... love to watch these videos of gold...
Your voice is so soothing. I love watching you pan!
Oh thank you!
Amazing job of panning right up front again luv it this world lacks it a lot thanks big guy
Thanks milesnn glad you enjoyed it!
great video Shane that did look hard to do cheers
Beach sands are always intriguing! You really never know what you'll get!
Great Job Man!
I had bought Kenai gold pay dirt nearly a year ago and it is still my favorite bag of pay dirt to date. I didn't get the black sand challenge, but one of their $35 or $39 bags off of Amazon. It was pretty dark sand and I'm still finding microscopic gold specs when I go through it. It's probably the only bag of pay dirt in which I broke even. I save all my heavy dark sand in a separate bucket to roast or chemically extract precious metals later on, but I keep the stuff from Kenai separate still.
I'm inlove with your videos and I've never really knew about this stuff until I came across your awesome channel. Keep up the amazing content, I would be a patron if I could!
Thanks Jaremy glad you enjoyed it!
Wow that’s a difficult one! But plenty of relax time with it. Good job 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you Russell Guidry!
You have way more patience than I would for this video.
I struggle with Anxiety and PTSD and I've found I do well panning paydirt. I haven't the experience yet to take on a black sand challenge. I will before too long. Thanks. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing. These guys seem to be Pretty good with their paydirt.
Thanks Dennis Sorensen for watching!
First thing I noticed was the new pan lol. Sweet video lol
Nice!
Awesome video! Would have loved to see you use the magnet afterwards to see how much could have been removed if you wanted!
nice work mate
Oh my patience could never!! 😂😂😂
In one of the pans , the black sand almost looks like a pick ax.I wonder if the old etch a sketches have magnetite in them? That would be cool if there was any fine gold in them.lol I finally figured out how to change the old pink man to my mans best friend. Great video !
This is a challenging paydirt designed to test your skills and try your patience. You had me a little nervous when you dumped the entire bag in one pan. Most folks report success when the do a spoon full at a time like you did. And thanks for the disclaimer. This bag is not for the beginner, unless they are using it as a tool to improve there skills. Jessica and I are so thankful for the review, Thanks again!!!
Thanks Kenai Gold LLC glad you enjoyed it!
That's a lot of fly poop to separate from the black sand.
You did an amazing job.
Thank you Ilona Mollema!
I have Thee hardest black sand paydirt on the market guaranteed!
Klesh loved the vid brother! Thanks for sharing!!!
Guarantee my sand challenge is even more difficult. Buy some and pan it, even experienced panners wont find a speck
That's a great idea they came up with. I'm pretty confident in saying that clean up is the hardest part of paning and we could all use practice. I think I'll be buying a paydirt from these guys in the future
Thanks Steve Staley for watching!
Am I the only one that loves when he says (NICE)
Toxic Reaper wait until you find out about Steve1989MREInfo
Nice! (Sorry for the late reply)
KleshGuitars lmao it all good didn’t expect you to reply
Looks like a good candidate for a Miller table. I'm building one . . . :D Cheers, C.
Great vid, looks like a fun challenge. Would be very challenging for me with my limited panning exp
Thanks Don M for watching!
I tried the black sand challenge. Panned it out four times and found gold every time. Thanks Shane for the great review.
Nice!
Looks like a black rain cloud raining on a black mountain when your panning
That amount of black sand ahh!! ... flash back's of the gold from claim by bishop last week! .. the amount of black sand was insane.
That was very cool bro
I got this challenge a few weeks ago. It was so much fun. best fun I've had with paydirt so far.
Nice!
That's pretty tedious work there! Nice job. Thanks
Thank you Rick Reimer!
Cool video. That's how I pan out my concentrates.
Nice!
That definitely looked challenging.
yhay would be fun and a lot of work, great vid
Thanks Kevin Hubbard for watching!
So ive seen your video about gold nugget karat purity. I noticed you got gold in Virginia. I live in southwest virginia and was wondering where you panned for the gold. Would love to do this as a hobby around school!
Cool video Shane, have you been to one of those Washington State beaches where the run beach sand through a gold cube? Looks like similar concentrates and panning.
Not yet but have plans to do so in my "50 States of Treasure Hunting" Series, for the state of Washington
@@Klesh nice. Do you have a gold cube yet?
Man I should send you a little bag of the Oregon beach sands I dig through, this video is the closest i have seen to the fineness of gold here, however it has platinum mixed in, just to make it worse ...
Lots of black sand great for practice, it always helps me to relax, HAMMER DOWN
I agree
As a Vermonster, I love your shirt. 🌲🦌🌲
good job realy !
Wow nice panning skills
Let's watch Klesh get frustrated and throw his gold pan across the room NICE!!!! NO NOT NICE!!!!!!🤣
😂👍⛏
Now this would definitely be a a huge challenge for me...however I'm not scared I would do it in a New York minute
this gave me nightmares remembering doing your Impossible bag.
Great job. So since it's a change who amongst your prospectings friends are you challenging?
Maybe repack that bad boy send it around? Challenge for time and accuracy maybe?
I can't repack it since it's all now in my tailings bucket, but could've been a fun idea
Great video Klesh
Whats the difference between the the different colour pans
The colors are different
So whats your process of drying? Still learning. I'm hoping to take a trip to coker creek in the spring maybe ill get lucky!
I just use a heat gun now.
@@Klesh I would have never thought of that lol
Anybody ever notice the heart shaped rock in the intro and Shane it smashing that rock with the rock hammer?? First time I ever noticed
Thanks brother.
Thanks Joseph Pecoul for watching!
Thats pretty fun
Thank you for sharing, appreciate your time and review.
Best wishes
Thank you Sherieward!
I won one of these bags a while ago from Dylan Miller when I was first learning to pan....I think I still have a medicine bottle with black sand in it! Lol
Need to get that out and finish cleaning it up!
Nice!
It might be time to use a double line Scrolling "credits" the text is getting a bit fuzzy at that speed. Listing 2 names per line and a slower scroll might help
Now that would be a challenge...
Thanks lawson862011 for watching!
Good do know I have been doing it right because that is all I have ever gotten...black sand and flour gold. I am now up to a massive 71/100 of a gram! After I dry things out, I use a hand lens to remove all the black sands.
That spoon 😍
I think it's actually yours, it found it's way into my backpack somehow 😂⛏
You 2 are like superheroes to me. Before I discovered you both I was on a very sharp plummet into the darkness of depression. It's been a rough ride!! You both give off such a positive vibe that it's done what even my friends and family couldn't do. Even if i never find a single spec of gold, the real reward was finding the happy me again. I've really missed him.👍🏻
@@weekendwarriorprospecting817 stay strong brother! And if hatd times ever befall you again, remember that you got out of them before and you will so again!
Is there anywhere in Massachusetts a place to prospect, lots of respect,
Nelson
Yes there is
Ngl...
That watch was pretty sleek
Thank you OmNi J!
Looks a lot like my cons from here on the lower Bear River.. hmm I wonder if I could sell our stuff.... Yeah I think that's far more hassle than I'd want to deal with. I'm sure the license, permit, claim etc fees in Commifornia would be more than you could sell the stuff for.
I'm afraid my 51 year old eyes aren't good enough to find the flour gold very easily.....
Along with your ROI maybe you could so a "fun" rating or Challenge" rating or even an enjoyment rating. It would be subjective but there is a value to this along with the gold.
Good Idea spankybear! Thanks for watching!
looked to be a tough one kinda like Vermont with its black sand
Lots of black sand in Vermont yes!
I thought it very came out because the notification but I was late
Wut
?
I'd really like to make some videos like you but i just don't know how to do it without sounding like ¿???.¿? . How many camera's do you use when you're out making your videos , Klesh?
It depends, sometimes I will have up to four cameras, (GoPro, DSLR rig, drone and my phone), and sometimes I only have a few select cameras. It all depends on what type of video I plan on making.
I think it might be the most difficult paydirt. Takes a lot of patience to pan black sand for an hour.
The more ibwatch the more i feel like clicking the links. Maybe when im not so broke xp
Nice!
Are you wearing a vermont shirt? That’s where I live! Not many people even know my state exists 😂
Yeah man, got it in Vermont last year when I filmed gold prospecting videos up there in New England.
KleshGuitars that’s awesome! I hope to be able to send you some paydirt from Vermont soon as well! So you’ll get another piece of vermont in your collection!
I love this one it's tough but I have had worse
Alaskan nugget 907 has a extremely hard one
I have 2 bags of the black sand on its way to my pan. I know its going to be a very slow process
Nice!
I agree lavaman281, and thanks for watching!
Why does the finishing pan work better with getting the gold out of the black sand and does that work just as well with CO flour gold?
It works better because the smooth surface allows the black sand to move (more) freely over the gold than a seasoned pan, which is used for blasting through bigger amounts of material. This is exactly the same process for going through any black sands, including the CO stuff.
Hmmm a clever marketing idea to get profit out of the black sand!
But yeah I guess from a practice and therapy point of reason it’s ok....
Thanks muddi funstar for watching!
Awesome:)
Thank you corey dawg02!
Worlds toughest paydirt is dirt that don't pay!
The Raging River here in Washington has a lot of fine flour gold just like this, it is complete with plenty Garnet and black sands I'm used to it. If you ever get to Washington State I can take you to a few gold areas I know of. If you got time we have a august gold camp out in Historic Liberty living ghost town. The mine just before you get to the turn off to head to Liberty sells pay dirt from this mine. Some amazing wire gold artifacts and specimens have been extracted in this area. look up the potato patch nuggets here on RUclips and see the two largest nuggets found in Washington in over 100 years on video as he found them. Be cool to tour that claim and you film it. Id like to check out the Mine shaft where the guy selld scoops of pay dirt for $10. It is a hole in the side of the hill one could drive a backhoe into and have room on both sides. Definitely would make a good content video for your channel getting a tour of the two claims. I also have access to around 15 other claims in the state. I do know people in the community here, I might be able to do some asking and arrange that.
It would be nice to see this state be more recognized for the mining and the people passionately partake in prospecting every year.
We have have a few political members who wan't to shut out the mining, hunting and fishing communities from woodlands in this state. Almost to the point no one can go onto the land for any reason even though it is owned by the public as we are the citizens who own this land, not the government officials who are elected and think they do.
Do me a favor and email me this information. I want to do this for my Washington State episode of my “50 states of treasure” series sjklesh@gmail.com
@@Klesh yup let me make a few calls and see what I can drum up. Not sure if the faux pandemic will cancel it, so just keep that in mind.
Before anyone says it's a real pandemic it is not. A real pandemic kills 10%-20% of the population not .0001% (my opinion only, but I am right) The 1918 Spanish flu killed up to 20% of the population as estimates are across the board.
I have not forgotten about it, I have a few calls out and want to see if the gold jamboree is still on. I don't need to explain why. Washington is on lock down right now.
Cheap Chinese thanks but definitely take your time I’m in no rush
Seattle area is nuts right now. Riots, crazy governor, people who are scared to death to be in the same isle at the store and almost martial law curfews.
Spin off the black sands!?
No cheating/ magnets for the "Black Sand Challenge" paydirt in this video! Thanks for watching!
Reminds me of panning clear creek, shit tons of black sand.
I agree Denver Flippin', and thanks for watching!
As a sufferer of extreme, stress related, anxiety and depression, I've found that when I start feeling an attack coming on, or I find that I am having an attack, I look for simple things to do. Playing computer games that are repetitive and distracting actually eases my mind. I also have youtube running while I am playing games! I also have a number of planted fish tanks which helps me a lot! I also find the music you have in the background to be nice and relaxing!
Great! Yeah I also have those issues including PTSD and this hobby helps a lot, plus add in the extra task of filming the entire thing, definitely keeps me occupied.
@@Klesh We've got a little poodle as well that acts as a support animal for me. Whenever I am feeling down, I pick her up and play around with her. Something about playing games with a pet that just makes the stress and anxiety melt away!
Admire.
Yooo im telling you the dirt i found is even tougher. the dirt from where the Arkansas river runs into Pueblo lake in Colorado is nothinggggg but heavy ass sand and gold dust practically , their is so much gold dust in just two shovel fills that I’ve been working on my same two shovels for around a month now and at this point I don’t think their is anywhere in the world with harder dirt to pan. PS even surfactants havent helped with panning it because the gold is so fine. The only way I’ve found to do it is drop a tea spoon full of dirt Into my entire bathtubb and spending the next 40 minutes grabbing every spec from the teaspoon
Any tips on how to get my gold dust out of my dirt
Any tips on how to get my super fine small gold to settle down at the bottom when panning? Everything it’s sitting with is super heavy too 👀😭
Id love to send you some free dirt just to watch you pan it 👀
Does this channel pan gold or play guitars? I'm confused with your channel name.
This is my "outdoor/adventure/gold" channel, my guitar channel is called "r2s".
What's the name of your intro song?
Snuff out heavies, re strategy and repeat
62 already, dang
Thanks David for watching!
You should grab up Dan hurds new 3000 dollar bucket
Already at over $6,000.000 so I'm hoping someone sends it to me for a review video!
I saw that. That's insane!!
