So, i was running my nox 800 in the park. Digging up random junk, lots of pull tabs, toasted modern zinc pennies etc. Nearby there was a group of people having a picnic, several kids running wild. The kids were very interested in what i was doing and wanted to know what i was looking for, "treasure" of course i answered! They asked me what i had found and i showed them a handful of pull tabs, excitedly they ran off and returned shortly afterwards with a dozen fresh off the can tabs. They had twisted them off their soda drinks and donated them to the cause. I thanked them and let them use my pinpointer to look for more. True story. 😊
Man oh man want to pan a bag or two from you. Problem is that I live in Newfoundland Canada and to my knowledge, there is no good area to pan. I am 37 and never had the chance to pan once. So I enjoy the vids watching you review pay dirt vendors. The yard sale vids are sick as well! I would need to get a panning kit then a few bags when I can. Its my goal but the family budget just don't allow me to at the moment. My wife and kid comes first of course! Either way, I love coming along for the adventures and checking out the honesty of pay dirt vendors out there in the wild.
Another insight from your videos. I was up late last night panning one of your 1 gram bags when I suddenly realized there was “feel” you develop that tells you how gold “behaves“, i. e. You begin to just know how to pan, losing little to minuscule amounts of gold. I’ve now gotten a tiny bit over your 1 gm minimum three times in a row. I “know” (better said “to feel”) just how much to wash off, to watch for flakes as I wash, and to end up with just gold (although I am finding the last part to be quite difficult!) Although Im repeating myself, your videos are really clear and concise. You don’t go into a sing -songy voice nor try to act “cute” or clownish…most of us are not in our second childhood looking for “Captain Kangaroo!” LOL SO, thanks once again for a down to earth channel that’s like watching a new version per week of a favorite old movie that’s also honest and instructive. Man, you’ve got it figured out! Some of the coolest things you can do with your time imo, play guitar professionally as well as successfully mining/buying/and selling gold! I bought a small bag of your paydirt, it had a bit more gold than guaranteed, plus some labradorite and garnets. Very nice, I definitely will be buying more paydirt from you in the future!

It's no problem, the first few dozen bags in 2017-2018 I needed to pay for, but as the videos got more popular, the videos themselves now pay for everything I do on this channel, including paying for the paydirt bags for review, so it's a win-win. Glad you enjoy the show
