Hey Klesh I appreciate your channel so much. These reviews have been so helpful in showing me where to buy paydirt and who to avoid while I'm stuck at home through all this. Panning and repanning and rerepanning (the ocd is strong) has helped a tremendous amount in passing the time in what would otherwise be a monotonous couple of months. 10:20 Sometimes, depending on what type of deposits you are mining into, your magnetite and hematite will tend to be overly polarized. Since you are stratifying the material in water, which of itself is also highly polar, the heavier magnetics in your black sand will tend to flow easily through the water.

The shipping is reasonable for Canada, we get screwed hard up here, its costed me more to ship a small fishing reel over the border, So 6lbs of dirt for $32 isn't bad.

We don’t have flat rate boxes in Canada to the USA.
Likely that was the actual shipping cost to the USA.
And actually assuming the box was around 12”/10” and about 7 pounds. The cheapest shipping method is $33.58 🤷🏼♀️

Hi.Shane.I have been buying this product for seven years.Put the shipping charges aside I usually break even.That is gas money I did not have to spend going out to my claims.I only buy in the winter when I am bored silly.Bonus bags are generally very good.3 times I have got over 5gs out of a 3lb bag.That cut piece you got is from a bunch of old silver bookends he cut up and tosses in the mix just for fun.Keeps one guessing.I have melted some,The silver content is low but fun to play with.I am happy with the product.Just my opinion Mark.

If you ever get a chance to pan at Virginia City, Montana there are tons of garnets in the river. I've found some pea-sized garnets there.

Great video bud! U by far do the best reviews! Plus your other prospecting videos are also fun to watch! I just have a hard time watching pay reviews when they classify 2oz of dirt in 4 plus classifications, weighing each one individually. You are a all around prospector! One person I watch(watch anyway to see what pay dirt is worth buying) has the word prospecting in his title, but never leaves there house!lol. Not bashing anyone,just saying that I love what you do and how you do it!

I agree with the high shipping cost this ships out of Canada. We can’t ship to the US in a flat rate box from up here. I routinely will buy a $20 item and shipping is always as much or more than what I bought. It’s unfortunate but the $30 shipping is likely what that actually cost to send it to you. A good way to sell / buy stuff as a Canadian is to set up an Amazon store then shipping is included in the items price

Dirthogg is always my go to since I am in Canada but I have yet to get a bonus bag, I usually average about 1.2 -1.3 g from the 2 pound bags

KleshGuitars Yeah I would say that’s really the average on most of their bags but you get a nice variety in size of gold. One of my first bags had a 0.5g nugget in it but my latest bag was 1.4g of all fine gold with no real pickers.
Buying seeded dirt.....hmm....where my dad lives there are two old river beds that converge from the woods and he walks down every couple of days and scoops a couple shovelfuls into his bucket and heads home. Last year he bought home over 6 ounces of gold to help pay his bills.
Not every lives near a river or any place that would have gold. I live in Illinois, ain’t going to find gold here

Hah! Wow you just dug up a very old fond memory from my past. When I was about 10-12 years old, my mom had an eccentric neighbor who *LOVED* collecting Spiderman comic books. As a kid, this hobby never seemed strange for a black man in his late-20's to mid-30's who worked as a nurse/physical therapist, and I'm glad my mom felt the same way towards him. When he was off-work, he would often help to watch over us kids, as it was not exactly a "safe" part of town. That shipping is reasonable to me. I'm Canadian and that's the price we pay. Canada is really big and there is only 1/10th of us compared to the US.
I just checked the estimate for shipping from BC to Colorado. Canada post after taxes is $42 CDN and UPS would be $39 CDN. So roughly $30 USD. Plus I would also double check if the prices you are seeing on their website are in USD or CDN. If you are looking at CDN your shipping for 3 bags(6-7lbs) would be the equivalent of $22ish USD. So less that 10 a bag... Ive seen you pay more for American paydirt...

I like the new shirt design! Shipping was high and I agree he should have used flat rate but he might not have that option in northern BC. I’ve purchased a couple pieces of equipment from BC sellers and shipping was high on each and they have go through customs and all that malarkey so think I chalked it up to that. All three bags were quite a bit over 1g but for $90/bag I was relieved.

As for the shipping of these bags, 32 bucks is a bit rough (mind you, shipping the hoodie to Oz is 10USD).
ROI minus shipping is good. if you include shipping, it drops right down. But still, it looked like a lot of fun, and the amount of garnets you showed in the first bag definitely increases the fun :D

I bought a 1lb bag from them and it weighed 14oz in the bag. Tested on 2 scales. I sent them an E-mail but never heard from them. Very disappointed in them and will not use them again.
Well, what really matters is the gold inside. But, I agree. If they claim to send 1 pound, you better get it! My paydirt is (usually) under 10 ounces per bag. I don't give a "weight claim" on the bags since that part doesn't matter to me as much.

Nice amount of gold, way over the guaranteed 1 gram but they make it up on the shipping, over $10 per bag, base cost not cheap either but it is a business. I have had 40 lbs shipped in one flat rate large priority box from Lynch Mining, less than $15 bucks...
That's what I use as well, flat rate boxes for most orders.
What do you think about them wanting to change the names of FT Bragg and Ft. Benning. Would be a sad day for many vets....

Nice gold though. Shipping is often used as the means to pay for employees time to package as well as a way of padding the expense of the "bonus". At least they don't charge that much for each bag.
so if you buy 3x 1 pounds bags= 3 pounds of dirt.....it's 87 dollar......but if you buy 1x 3 pounds bag of dirt it's 179 dollar......sounds bit fishsy this operation ;)
