I sat through a 15min tutorial made by this very nasal lady and nearly lost my mind from her voice. You saved me. This is exactly what I needed. You, my friend, kick ass.
Thank you so much! I have been looking for a way to do this for literally a year. How is this not more common knowledge? It was so easy. You're the best!
Thanks for your help! This will be the first time I order from Spoonflower, so I need to ask a stupid question, but I just want to confirm, am I correct to assume that your seamless pattern sample will have a red background when you upload and order from Spooonflower, is that correct? Thanks again!
Thank you so much! Can you help me? When I double click and select my swatch and go to object, covert to artboard I get an error message saying "to create artboards, select non-rotated rectangles that are not clipping masks". I am totally lost so any help much appreciated. Thank you
Hmmm it sounds like you have a clipping mask inside of your pattern, you’d probably need to do away with that. OR possibly could expand your pattern then try converting to art board. I’ve never had that issue before
@@kenzigreendesign thank you so much for replying. I don’t have a clipping mask. What I am currently trying is creating an art board 0.2 pixels larger than my original pattern swatch (without the repeats) and aligning the pattern with the art board. I have just uploaded it this way to Spoonflower and it seems ok. Will see when I get the fabric proof. Thanks so much for replying tho.

@@kenzigreendesign I know! Same here and before this video I had totally different method, this one is way faster though. Much love to you!
This was SO helpful!! For the life of me, I couldn't get rid of that pesky line down the middle of my repeats. Thank you for this tutorial!

Great! I see you exported at 300 dpi, when they ask for 150? I've read that will make the scale of print larger?
