It could be more cost effective while increasing profits If either becomes a replacements or additions to the Dodge brand while it's possible the status of the Chrysler brand could become their luxury and the EV division. Obviously these considerations are best guess possibles, but with the slow release of new drive on the stage Dodge and Chrysler vehicles and with Chrysler being down to only one vehicle, the Pacifica. It just doesn't make sense having two divisions (Dodge and Chrysler) currently manufacturering only 4 total vehicles in the US and one in Italy. I keep waiting to see videos of camo covered Dodge test mules testing on American roads. With the current UAW strike. This will likely push back vehicle development for Stellantis and the Likely delaying of new vehicle development.
No disrespect to the 23 chrysler 300c. I wish chrysler would give us a hellcat 300 model & called it the "300c crossfire" to make it luxurious/sporty to complete with the cadillac ct5 v blackwing. As we all know chrysler never made it happen.
Even just bring the crossfire back, as a smaller coupe or something. That would be sick. Stellantis probably hates muscle cars, even though these Dodges have to be hugely profitable. In any case, I think they are eliminating these cars too soon. There's still time for another generation really.
The EV Charger is little boring, generic. It doesn't really evoke a classic Charger much. I'm glad there is still an SRT Durango, but I'm tired of looking at the Durango, and the SRT version is too expensive, especially with that cheap plastic interior. The Grand Cherokee and Durango were platform mates, but apparently, Chrysler plans to dump the Durango eventually, given no new one.
A sad day to see the beloved gas powered muscle cars and suv sunset. No disrespect intended for the hornet, but it is a totally different breed and doesn’t do anything for me.
Why the hell is dodge and chrysler showing 2023 vehicles when this show is for new vehicles for 2024. Guess January's lineup will be the Durango and Chrysler mini van. Stelantis sucks!
I just wish that electric charger had a gas engine. Doesn't need to be a v8, I would even take it with a v6 or little 4 cylinder engine, I just want it in gas. There are still many places in the US that has no electric car infrastructure, and some places too cold for electric. Where I live gets -50 F, which will kill electric cars.
I think I speak for all of us mopar fans that their secretiveness is getting ridiculous. Same cars at all of the auto shows this year with zero glimpse of what’s to come. No reveals, just more secrets. CDJR lots next year are going to look pathetic with the hornet, Durango and over flow of GT charges no one’s wants. On top of that Jeep can’t sell a damn thing with zero excitement and buzz. Man, we just need something to look forward too. Even if It’s just the IH6
How many Alfa Romeo or Maserati vehicles have you owned??? We owned a 2017 AR Giulia Ti with no problems. Same year Audi A3 all sorts of big problems. Chevy Colorado lots of problems. We now have a 2021 AR Giulia, no problems. 2022 Stelvio QV, no problems. I love people commenting of this they know nothing about.
You know a company is in trouble when half the cars they bring to the auto show will not be sold in 2024. They better have something in the works. Most cars take 3 years to go to market. To not have things to show is a seriously sad thing.
These people seem to not understand that once Trump gets back in there he is going to fix this thing with the gas issue and people will stop buying electric vehicles
I love the look of the new charger. It's the power train I don't like. These lithium batteries are dangerous. And you're not really a damn thing for the environment with ev's. The vast majority of the world power generation is by non renewables. And achieving a pure non pollution electric grid is not going to happen with current technology. So dodge just needs to go ahead and slap the hemi in it, & really nod to the '60's charger.

4:45 too much wheel balancing weights on a new rim and tire though
I wish Dodge would release pricing for the electric charger.
HORNET FRONT FACE
REAR WHEEL DRIVE 4 CYL WASE A GOOD FRONT END
The hornet will be a complete flop
The Detroit auto show lost its luster now that everything's ev
What does Consumer Reports and Edmonds say about any and All Stellantis products as far as RELIABILITY?
I know, they say to AVOID them at ALL COSTS
Stellantis probably hates muscle cars, even though these Dodges have to be hugely profitable. In any case, I think they are eliminating these cars too soon. There's still time for another generation really.
Why doesn’t stellantis just drop Chrysler ? They have two cars. Just concentrate on dodge and make it a full car line. Keep jeep and ram.
Kuniskis killed Dodge. R.I.P. MOPAR!
Its going to be a shame when they go broke for going all electric. How fast they forget why people go to dodge
i’m sure mclarens are quicker and faster than the “quickest car in the world” demon170 one trick pos.
Seemed like a waste of time for Stellantis. It's difficult to stay enthused when they really won't share necessary information with their buyers...
There's been rumors it might get the hurricane inline 6 from the Jeep Wagoneer
Sooo no news ? 😂
They’re probably debating upon if they should answer the challenge of ford’s gtd. You know they want to make a new viper with a boosted V10.
I would love to see the ev charger front and rear bumper on a challenger or charger now model
It is definitely an amazing looking vehicle. If that thing had a Hemi people would just go nuts for it
@MarspeedCars I wonder what the body line difference is between the ev Charger and current models of charger and challenger
Buy an Alfa at your peril.
Alfa is no 3 in jd power initial quality. Not sure where your argument is parroted from? Have you ever owned an Alfa?
How many Alfa Romeo or Maserati vehicles have you owned??? We owned a 2017 AR Giulia Ti with no problems. Same year Audi A3 all sorts of big problems. Chevy Colorado lots of problems. We now have a 2021 AR Giulia, no problems. 2022 Stelvio QV, no problems. I love people commenting of this they know nothing about.
Drop Chrysler and revive plymouth
That would make little sense. The only thing that would be of any real value would be the Prowler...an electric Prowler?
@@dodge1515 they have way more plymouth roadrunner and cuda and a different model called barracuda and many more
You know a company is in trouble when half the cars they bring to the auto show will not be sold in 2024. They better have something in the works. Most cars take 3 years to go to market. To not have things to show is a seriously sad thing.
These people seem to not understand that once Trump gets back in there he is going to fix this thing with the gas issue and people will stop buying electric vehicles
It will be hard for him to do anything when he’s in prison
Trump's not going to the White House. He's going to the gray bar Motel
People are still going to buy electric cars after president Trump is back in the White House.
People still think this man going to win I hope he runs too so he can get two L’s
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉
I love the look of the new charger. It's the power train I don't like. These lithium batteries are dangerous. And you're not really a damn thing for the environment with ev's. The vast majority of the world power generation is by non renewables. And achieving a pure non pollution electric grid is not going to happen with current technology. So dodge just needs to go ahead and slap the hemi in it, & really nod to the '60's charger.
Nobody wants the Hornet
Poor Bros and Sistas love it
1.3 liter 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
