    One of the reasons I keep coming back to your guides, reviews, and tours is your approach to testing and demonstrating a game mechanic rather than simply pronouncing it as a fact. I have a lot more trust in the answer of someone who is confident enough to admit they aren't always right, and proceed to figure what is or is not the case. Well, that and your excellent humor.

      Agree completely. Also though, Mr.SP 's style shows us the little foibles and issues you can expect to run into so they are not unexpected and annoying. This helps alot.

    Working Straps!!! Implements & Vehicles actually staying ‘locked down in place’ by the use of the straps & not sliding all around & falling off! YESS!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!! :-) Thanks very much, MrSealyP, for testing/showing this! This is really FANTASTIC!!! :-)

    @MrSealyp you're my new fave streamer mate! It's refreshing to hear an honest (and uncensored) approach in a stream which hasn't been doctored because something didn't go to plan. You're a breath of fresh air and will be tuning in more often. Love your sense of humour and reckon we could have a good crack doing some MP stuff.

    I think in a future update, Giants Software should add the ability to choose your harvester as a load station in the "Load and Deliver" set up. That way, you could choose your harvester, then choose your silo as the deliver point, then choose loop and the AI worker will follow your harvester until full then go and deliver to your silo, and repeat. You could literally have entire fields harvested completely with AI while you do other things.

    This is a huge and very significant step forward for Giants and I love it! The amount of flexibility and options this gives us is immense, even seemingly basic things like driving from A to B with tools / vehicles with just a few clicks is fantastic and the fact that it's now a basegame feature is brilliant! That also makes me really curious to see what modders will do with this system in terms of things like the old FollowMe mod or more customisable fieldwork routes like with CoursePlay, AND the incredibly real possibility that those features will be available on console too! Just brilliant!
    And then there's the straps and locking scripts for those trailers now, that's a very welcomed surprise. Even the sound still gets me, the creaking and clunking of that trailer as it unloads and returns to transport position.. so good!

    From what I’ve heard (and seen) the workers don’t really like tracked vehicles. You could really see how much better the McCormick entered the yard compared to the 8rx.

      I wouldn't think it would matter with the 8RX, cuz the computer sees it as a wheel point, it's only on tracks visually. I THINK anyway. I've not noticed a difference in driving between the 8RX and it's rubber tired sister. But that was also on FS19, FS22 is obviously a completely different ball game.

      I Have found it mostly messes with the articulating tractors. I ran into that problem in fs19 ingame Ravenwood map.

    I would have been happy just having workers drive equipment to the field this is amazing for consoles thanks Giants and thank you MrSealyp for the info. Can't wait to see what the modders will do with all the new scripts that are now in game.

    Another great video. By far my favourite FS content creator. Mr Sealyp never stop your enthusiasm for this game keeps me playing. Its nice to see Giants using inspiration from pc modders to enhance the base game. Little touches like this is the reason I now play fs19 and fs22 on pc. But your content always enspires me to keep playing

    Great video as always MrSealyP! Appreciate all your hard work. The new AI system looks brilliant definitely a "game changer"... I reckon the reason the trailer got caught up on the silo was as you said the sharp turn to head in the opposite direction, but because the trailer had a steering axle, it followed the path of the tractor too closely.

    I've got to say, Fs22 is looking very, very good! 👏
    I loved fs17, but I always felt fs19 was a little underwhelming and got bored of it quickly.
    Fingers crossed this Fs22 is going to get me right back into it 👍

    It's going to feel a lot more like a real farm that has family or hired hands running other equipment. A late addition but one that is huge in my opinion.

    " *CONGRATULATIONS !!* " You Are the first fs22 video that I have watched this weekend, I could not hold out any longer curiosity was killing me. Anyhow loved your vid I had an idea how it was going to work from your previwe vid Thank you for going in depth it was rewarding. You know what would be blown away awsome if the looping tractor would come back an load from the harvester. Again.     For me personally, this is awesome news! Unless I am doing something wrong, I find myself just driving in FS19... Moving equipment from one field to another, making deliveries, and emptying the harvesters. I really had come to feel that is was more of a driving game.

    AI is definitely improved.....and it saves the hassle of collecting your items from the store. I wonder 8f soon if not already that we can have a worker harvesting a field and then have another worker in a tractor and trailer set on loop to go to the field unload the harvester and then either take it and put it into storage or take it to be sold?.... now that would be good !! 😁

      Being able to literally have the workers harvest the field and transport the crop to a silo/sell station without having to intervene as a user would be a site to see on console.

    great video as always. i just miss the courseplay features we had in fs 17. i ran 4 combines, 4 carts, 3 semis all in 1 field no issues other than the occasional cart hitting the other cart coming-going. i like the bigger maps fields etc. sadly 19 was a joke when it came to AI. this is nice feature. but imo still lacking from what we had in 17. big steps i like how simple it is to setup on base map atleast. i hope they build on it... but i played 19 and all i remember is frustration. seen 10 hours gameplay of 22 and i seen lots of improvements all around from UI to ai, long list i am happy with all the new additions. so we will see.

    This is actually awsome the fact that the A.I actually works ive been a little sceptical about it but this shows that yes they actually work and naturally like all workers have there little issues but that we can deal with because this in itself is something amazing gives you more time to get on with other jobs inbetween everything else ans for us console players makes it much easier to set up new farms and everything! The possibilities are great and with updates I can only assume it will get better and some of the early quirks worked out! Great video again mate the excitement you give off makes me buzzing and also itching like crazy to play!

      I think the AI feature is what I'm most excited about. Even with ALL of the amazingly superb improvements Giants have made, the AI is mine. I can already see that my efficiency is gonna improve 10 fold, I use the workers as much as I can. This is, well I have no words, it's just great! And that's not nearly a good enough word.

      @@AdrianOkay yeah kinda, depending on the map. Some maps the AI are pretty worthless for doing anything other than field work. They ain't worth snot on Calmsden, No Man's Land they can only go up and down that main road, Greenlands they get hung up on an offset screw 🤣🤣.
      It is what it is though, I'm not really complaining. I just wish the FS AI would act like REAL AI and learn as it went along.

    Blows my mind every time I see one of my workers driing to me. Problem I am having is mod trailers, you can't set up the unload at, job. Kind of annoying, but I am working around it. hope they fix that at somepoint, but loving it regardless. You Rock MrSealyP

    Good video, enjoyed it. That said, I can't share the enthusiasm. However improved the AI workers might be from previous FS iterations, I've found them often more trouble than they're worth. Have yet to see one successfully complete a Go-To job. On the last one (lol just now, and prompted this comment), I wanted an AI helper to take my harvester back to the farm after completing a contract job, while I took the grain to the sell point. Started the AI guy in the middle of an open field, pointed straight toward a nice road home. He got the harvester *hopelessly* stuck on a road-work barrier. All four wheels completely off the ground; tried for half an hour, couldn't wiggle it off. Finally couldn't think of anything other than to sell the thing. Darn AI worker cost me about $60K, to replace that harvester with same model; $20K if I go with the lowest-end harvester at the shop. lol I'll never trust an AI with the Go-To job again.

    That was one thing that always annoyed me a bit. Didn’t get to do much actual farming cos I was to busy running equipment or refilling/unloading equipment and harvests. The mobile versions up til the most recent installment had this same feature

    I've had a couple really busy days, so I'm only now getting to see that I've got 500 FS22 videos posted by 4 channels...wtaf?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
    I think I'm going to have to stick to the tutorial videos like this (another superb job done by MrSP) until things calm down. I greatly anticipate getting my pre-ordered copy in the mail on
    ?Monday? Not only mine, but another for my boy, who doesn't know that HE is getting one too. We splurged big time on this one, big time for us anyway. I always wait until a game has been out long enough that everyone is bored with it and I can get a used game (sometimes a new one) for $20. Not this time.
    Looking forward to learning much from you and the other "teacher style" channels that I'm sub'd to. Like Farmer Cop, which is who I found out about you from. He does a great job of tutorials as well. And he's kind of my neighbor in a way. Same state.
    Anyway, caffeine is still in full effect obviously, so I'm gonna go put that to good use now that the boys are in bed. Just like real farmers do in the winter time when they've got nothing to do really. (Hence all the kids they usually have, with birthdays real close to each other 🤣🤣)

    MrSealyp: Let's just remind everyone that this is just a test to see the possibilities and the capabilities of the game in itself and the difference between actual desired gameplay. Sure you might find that AI workers will run everything for you but it is nice to, for some people, to actually do the nitty gritty stuff yourself. You might have a massive farm and then AI workers will definitely be needed. You can do anything you want and that is nice to have the options and the tools necessary to do what you need to do to play your own desired game. Great video! Peace! 👍😎👍

    I use the bail trailer to move pallets and stuff , it’s one of the first things I buy on a new save. Bails are awesome and the straps work on everything its 10/10

    I'll happily watch a video like this where your working things out and discovering things. I think these work particularly well for your "for science" test videos.
    There is only ONE thing that really boils my pee in a tutorials and guides. "Tutorials" that are rushed out to get views. 9 times out of 10 they are misleading with mistakes or not even the best way to do something.

    I’m guessing the new ai auto drive function is why all the big equipment has been sidelined for launch. Hopefully it will be added as mods once the new function has been showcased long enough.

    Farming Simulator has improved by a million times since Giants gotten rid of focus. I keep hoping and encouraging snowrunner devs to do the same thing.

      I agree! Snowrunner needs more direction. If you step away for a month and come back you are like ok what was I doing again. I think mission based would be better. Like tell me where to go! Lol

    I once had a worker harvesting a field in fs17. I was off doing something else and realized I hadn't seen a grain tank full warning, So I go to the field and the harvester is gone and I later find it staled In a lake. I hope the fs22 workers are better.

    A way they could solve the issues with the ai is to remove the hit box on vehicles when they are in control.
    Probably not the best solution.
    Anyway the ai does not destroy crops when driving over fields. 😉

    I know you can’t do bailing but what if you get into the tractor turn on bailer then send the worker to the end of the line of hay or wtv will it get it or just turn bailer off?

    Might of missed it in the video if it had been mentioned, though I'd love to see a proper courseplay style of system in-game where you can set the AI up like you would in courseplay when working the fields or getting them to drive around to different locations...I were surprised however at the start of the video to see that vehicles and equipment can now be strapped down, having played FS22 since it were released I had not once thought about trying to strap them down to see if whether or not they would stick to the trailer so this is a game changer for me and just the other night I learned that harvester headers snap onto the header trailers now too.
    Some good work by GIANTS here but indeed still in need of improvements to make them that chefs kiss, but even then I suppose there would still be issues here and there :D

    I’m keen to try having 4 tractors and silage trailers bringing silage to a bunker from under a forage harvester also on AI worker, whilst I compact the bunker. I might be pushing the boundaries on this, but have fingers crossed I can make it work. Will be stoked if it comes off.

      I hope something like this will be possible, but with the current system I don’t think it is because I don’t believe the AI can follow each other, like you can’t set a tractor to follow alongside a forager

    I can't get the go-to feature to work at all on Xbox Series X. Not sure if the bug is console specific. When I select start job, an error comes up "destination unreachable". After that no options are selectable in any menu. Even after a few full shut downs, the error appears every time, no matter the distance or vehicle.

      I hope people are patient with Giants. It’s going to take few updates it get it right probably but it’s a huge step for us console players.

    I like the improvements, but I was wondering something. Can you ride along with the workers that are doing these go-to missions, like you can ride along with the ones that are in the field? You kept looking at the workers from the outside. Can I switch to the vehicle while it's in motion doing one of these delivery jobs?

    Wonder if you can use the deliver to and loop to empty a bunker silo into the biogas plant. What happens if you have selected Start from scratch and you place the silo in a differnt location

    It's impressive what they can do off the fields now, just wish they learnt how to do fieldwork properly without missing huge chunks

      There are unofficial worker mods for fs19 where the workers are 100% accurate, almost error-free, and fast.
      I don't know why GIANTS DevOps decided to not look out for the people that created these mods and work together ...

      It's completely unimpressive, to be blunt. On Elmcreek, set them a route that crosses the creek. See them get stuck trying to cross a bridge that is… wide enough for a human, but those shits completely fail.

    Does the AI on loop stay waiting at field with the trailer? Because then you can use Auger wagon to collect from harvester and go fill it. Would be a big help on large fields.

    I don’t think you can, but it would be great if you could for example choose your forage harvester as the “destination” so as you’re driving it, the worker follows along side in a tractor and trailer. Hopefully they can improve the AI to that point throughout the game but it’s still pretty cool what it can do currently. A lot of potential is there

    They still have a lot of work to do. They still haven't fixed issues from previous versions. Come on devs even the new AI features are half baked. Great video sealyp!

    I think the devs of FS22 hired the devs that created the Courseplay mod for the other FS games, and they helped create the new AI system, which is why this ones so advanced...

    Did this on the mobile version with traffic. But this is great I hope the horn on the combine summons the tractor trailer to the loading spout. This would be great but hope it doesn’t go over the crops and destroys them

    Was Autodrive not available on console with FS19? I found it to he a total game changer on PC so I can understand why you like this so much if the concept is new to you. Still enjoying your work and the 'guides' are the best way of doing this in my book. Keep up the good work 👏

    9:49 It looks like the default is for the vehicle to return to its original starting point. If you offload a harvester in the field you would have the vehicle unload to the silo and return.
    The information pop up in the lower right is a fantastic addition. How many times have I disconnected/reconnected and implement to get this information.

    I played farming sim on tablet you could set workers to do all field work! On ps5 you have to collect hay bales etc etc kinda hoping they make it so that all field work can be done.

    Would be nice to see an update in the future where you can name and clothe / kit out the 6 AI workers.
    Also the ability to instruct AI to do headlands for the odd shaped fields

    Do you can adjust speed? Like on fs19 with tempomat. You know if you don't want your worker move so fast to deliver. So its manual gearbox working with ai workers?

    Thanks again. Interesting .as you said about AI getting caught up . Mmm. This on giants own map wonder if needs a small up date for to edit move forward more before a turn around .if on other mod maps would this work ok .? Also one thing would an Ai not collect from a harvester or loop . But thanks for your guide I'm sure there will be many problems. Shame have to switch off traffic .I like it on. And would like AI to also work ok.. you been busy today lol..
