    The thing with the weight limit reflects how trucks work in the UK anyway. A truck is allowed to be a certain maximum weight which includes the weight of the truck and trailer. As you were putting bigger wheels on the trailer it weighed more, so the actual weight of goods it could carry went down so the trailer itself wouldn’t go over the maximum allowed axle weight.

      That's the one

    • @simrantoor85
      @simrantoor85 2 года назад

      We have weight limits in the US as well, they work the same. Though I should add that in regards to agricultural trucks they are often ignored because those trucks are usually just carrying grain from the field to the silos on farms, or farm to sale point (grain elevator), which tend to be short(er) distances.

    • @raspingrabbit2379
      @raspingrabbit2379 2 года назад

      @@simrantoor85 to be honest I am not sure on how strictly checked things like grain trailers are when on the local back roads, I think it’s mainly main/busier roads that are checked. Unless the vehicles are visibly dangerous I would assume.

      The US uses weight limits but the laws vary state to state. For example in Colorado a single frame truck like a dump truck has a top limit of 54,000lbs. In New Hampshire the load limit is based on number of axles. So here in NH dump trucks carry an extra set of wheels on a 'drop axle' that allows them to carry more load when deployed. However it also adds even more weight to the unloaded truck.
      Since CO has a single limit, everyone takes off drop axles and runs as little fuel as possible to maximize their load capacity. In NH you have a heavier truck with a drop axle, but it can increase it's max load (don't know it off the top of my head) by using them.

    For gas an electricity, if you got into build mode then to Buildings< Tools, there is the Electic Charging station and the the Biomethan Station. Thes are both placeables and the description says. At this Biogas station you can refulet your methane tractors, would you place these at the the bio gas plant, or.... put at your farm activate distribution and it goes to the farm? Also in the same area, you have weight stations, I wonder how those placables come into play with weight would we get a bonus if we weight the trucks before selling?

    As you own the plant you don’t get paid since you process stuff in your own facility. Try chucking something in when you don’t own the plant, the money is paid immediately.
    For tipping into a high receptacle, like that one on the biogas plant you can probably also use the Annaburger Fieldliner trailer, I believe I saw it in the list, I used it on FS19 for this. It can carry forage products as well as silage, and you can raise the back up to unload into another trailer, or for example the biogas tip point. Hope this functionality is still there as it is just over 50k liter trailer.

    to speed up chopped beet with respect to a harvester, dump the beet on the ground, and use conveyer system to dump into the loader bucket, thus you are only tying up a loader tractor, while you can have a tractor and trailer positions under the loader bucket with the chopper to take the chopped beet to the BGA or sugar mill.

    Another method of cutting sugar beets efficiently: have your front loader bucket over the sell point, set up a conveyor belt system to bring beets from the ground to above the selling point and just dump on the ground in front of it when you have a full load.
    This way your harvester isn't restricted in unloading by the relatively slow bucket chopper, and it can be in the field harvesting while that's going on.

    I've been playing around with the BGA on modded maps, and on the Elm Creek Map both. Even though there's no sell points for the Digestate, you still get paid for what you have every hour. It's paid out at the top of the hour. If your production is running, you get paid for the electricty and methane every hour at the top of the hour. The methane pump and electric charging station buys the electricty or methane to fuel/charge your vehicles.

    hello @MrSealyp, my method to deal with cutting beats was to dump a truckload of beats in front of a pickup belt, connected to an elevation belt directly over a chopping bucket, with a second pickup belt directly underneath the chopping bucket to send it where it needed to be; in my case a sugar factory. this way you can mostly leave it to do its thing while it works away at the loop, possibly grab another trailer full of beats from a silo. There's an added benefit that to what I'm assuming is a rounding error, you'll receive about a third more volume in your output this way, at least until they patch that up ;) (that is the case of the PC version unsure if the round up error happens for console as well) .

    2:25 I think that looks like a 10t trailer. So I would say your "kg" weight is the weight of the actual unit. And the "weight in a bucket" is overall weight or gross weight it can carry including the weight of the vehicle. So the 10t trailer weighs 6t and can carry max of 10. Making overall load 16T
    Cheers hope that helps but that is how it seems to mw

      This is indeed the MOST important change to BIOGAS in FS22. Which begs the question, wtf would I spend $500k-1.5M on a BioPlant? OK, logistics and getting silage to the plant is one thing, but its actually a small thing in comparison. The free digestate will take decades to recoup the cost of the plant. And personally, I hate spreading slurry and digestate because of the high application rates (maybe Precision Farming will change my mind). In FS19 most maps bought digestate, so I just sold it. And I don't think I'm the only one. Being paid instantly is a huge difference, compared to waiting for days to finish processing the crops you have deposited (yes, you get paid hourly based on the production site's speed of processing - the 1MW plant is twice as fast as the biggest placeable BioPlant).
      The electricity and Methane side products - it all goes to show that bioplants were a sloppy addition to the production chain, and I honestly think initially they were not going to give you free access to the BGA....but then convinced themselves that there would be a riot if you a) had to pay for the BioGHas Plant b) see how works as it does with the electricity and methane.. Its quite a BioGasShow.

      One primary issues is the day-one CLAAS Saddle-Trac pack DLC remains uninstallable due to miscoding for next generation console owners. Remaining DLC and FS22 MODHUB has been corrected. FS19 is still having "lights out" problems.

    I believe the only way to purchase the map BGA is to go to the BGA, there is an icon next to the digester. I pressed it yesterday and it asked for 1.5m. I presume this is how you buy the BGA on this game as apposed to going on the map like FS19.

HELP PLEASE.

    You are correct that the plants produce electricity and methane. The prices that you are paid are based on the prices of the fill types "ELECTRIC_CHARGE" and "METHANE", worth $350 and $450 respectively per 1000L by default, I haven't determined if the price fluctuations of the electricity and methane are tied to the silage in some way, but they are not directly based off it. i.e. increasing the price of silage does not increase the amount paid for products sold by the plant.
    For the digestate, it is sold every hour like the other stuff and is set at $33 per 1000L in the game files (not sure about fluctuations). And about the stuck silage, there is actually chaff that is stuck in the silo walls which prevents any adjacent silage from being picked up, I've found the best solution is to repaint the ground inside the wall to remove the stuck chaff.

    • @dansiegel995
      @dansiegel995 2 года назад

      That's quite interesting. A few thoughts and questions regarding this:
      a) are the electric and methane prices affected by economy settings?
      b) $350/450 is about the high price of silage for normal economy. Therefore by owning the plant, and having hopefully static prices, that would remove the need make a mad dash to sell when prices are high. Just keep the plant running until you are finished, but then make sure to deactivate it.
      c) plant processing speed seems to be affected by days in a month - typically, people are testing with 1 day, which shows the +8K silage processed per hour. Change it to 28 days, and watch your hourly silage processes grind to a halt. Need to test further, but your timescale seems to be handled properly, but of course zero documentation and a bug in the visual description. With 28 day time scale, you get 1/28 of a cycle per hour...not 1. If 2 day months, 1/2 a cycle per month. The need to show that, or change the values of the recipe based on the time scale you have chosen.

    • @mastermoders
      @mastermoders 2 года назад

      @@dansiegel995 Not quite too sure about a), would be interesting to test this.
      b) Silage is supposed to be 171 in the game files, though I found doing silage with corn the 'correct way' i.e. maximising your yield, the price needs to be set to 340-400 to be competitive time wise with the most efficient methods. Max price is then about 770-820 (without demand) and to make the biogas plant work with that, the price of electricity and gas needs to increase to about 700 and 770. I personally feel doing silage to make a profit is only worth the investment if the prices are set to this so I'll be releasing a mod later that updates the game prices for silage, electricity and methane.
      c) Plant speed appears to tied to the months to balance with the way seasons work, preventing you from processing more per year (and thus growth cycle) it would be nice to have more details on this stuff available from giants themselves. Speaking about processing speed and my aforementioned planned mod, I think sugarbeets might become completely unbalanced, though their limited processing ability may in a way prevent it from becoming broken, providing you're doing other stuff on the farm and not skipping and fast forwarding time

      @@mastermodersI did a few brief tests, and I can only conclude that electricity and methane fluctuate, and you get the price of Silage added as well. Simple raw data from my tests - 70kL Silage dumped into self-owned 1MW BGA per day for 3 days. Price of Silage during processing was the following for 3 days: 274, 342, 225. Harvest Income for the 3 days, ~$35K, $38K, $36K. The math worked out close, but still a few thousand dollars off, leading me to believe the difference was due to fluctuation in electricity and methane prices.
      Increasing Silage prices? Maybe for current stock game, but FS19 Corn Silage was king - mostly due to courseplay/gps, Seasons Crop Rotation, and subsoiler mods without ROCK PICKING so you could plow easily.

      @@dansiegel995 You get the price of silage added as well? Increasing the price of silage to $850 - $900 didn't increase harvest income for me when using an owned plant, which aligns with the prices solely from electricity and methane

    • @dansiegel995
      @dansiegel995 2 года назад

      @@mastermoders I didn't know for sure that I received the Silage prices as well. If I did the math of the elec and methan prices, I was WAY off in the harvest income calculation. If I happened to ADD the silage value as well, then I got close, but still too far off to conclude it for sure, "hoping" it was the case and the deviation was due to elec and methane fluctuations. But if you have DOUBLED the silage prices, and harvest income stays the same, I think you proved that its certainly only methane and electricity...and great, they fluctuate and they are not shown to the user. Any debug commands you know to show the current prices?

    Is it PlanET, or Plan Eee Tee? Enquiring minds want to know? I've had the game freezing with a hired worker on pS5 too. I found that if I went to the PS5 home screen (hold the playstation button on the controller) & back into the game it seemed to un-freeze. Your assumptions are correct. The output products apart from the digestate are independent, i.e you'll be getting paid a set amount for the electricity & methane produced , you don't get those products to use apart from the digestate, which you can use in your slurry spreaders.
