I should add this would be a great first sewing project for learn to sew as will as something you could do with a child learning to sew too. I could see a BD boy or girl making these for their own Party as favors for their guests. Depending on the age of the child you can monitor and help or do as much as appropriate to age and talent of child. Not just for give a kid a treat bag but kids are hungry to learn. And yes my husband of 52 years sews and has been sewing since he was 8. His grandparents left him the treadle machine while his sister got ALL THE REST OF THE HOUSE GOODIES. We were very happy with just the machine. And one of our sayings is HE married me for my sewing machine and my car and I married him cause he'd keep both running smooth over the years. My new car I'd paid off in a year while still in college ran for 24 years and my sewing machine now going on 62 years a gift from my parents when I as 12. I also have purchased used identical machines that past 15 years to have parts that now and again fail but also a spare machine I take outside and sew under a covered protected patio in the summer time. So that's right I've been sewing over 62 years. Hubby has me beat though he's 12 plus 4 more years or 78 years sewing & yes he's 86 years old. I do have to be careful if he snags any of my repairs to like a new pair of jeans once that was torn due to crashing my bike a few years ago it had an L shape tear pretty big across the knee. I ended up with a BRIGHT NEON Blue/green zig zag patch instead of matching into the denim shade of blue. Yes pretty sure it was his sense of humor at play....And so I did wear them about the home and garden...but out in PUBLIC? Oh my why not. !!!!! Gotta luv a guy that sews and has a sense of GOOD HUMOR too.

Making these for the 12 grandkids. They will love them and it doesn't matter that they are all different ages from 18 to 2. Simple and easy a project that I can complete in a day...thanks
I made something similar several years ago. They were much smaller and did not have the flat bottom. I tied the ears together rather than use a hair tie. These are so cute. I’m going to make them
This was an adorable quick sew. I just made 21 for my girl scout troop. Your video was clear and all the steps were easy to follow. I know my brownies will love it! Thanks so much
These are wonderful and so much fun to do..I used a cotton ball for the tail and fastened it with a glue gun.. I have 10 great nieces and nephews and I am making one for each of them... as they live all over the country, I am sending them off to their parents to fill with chocolate!
