No, sorry - all bedrooms must have an emergency egress (large window or a door) to the outside. This is a matter of law in most places and it is a matter of safety always. The house is cute though. Maybe you could switch the problematic bedroom with the dining area? Combined living/dining areas with a separate kitchen were very popular in the mid 20th century, btw. I think that could work.
I think I would build a banquette against the outside wall in the kitchen so I could put a couple of pantry cabinets against the inner walls. That would give some much needed storage to this kitchen. Other than wishing the Master had a walk-in closet (and an ensuite in a perfect world) I think this is a really nice design and really functional for a retired couple.
You've been reading My comments onother houses !!! THIS is the only one I could HAPPILY live in just the way it's shown ( I guess there's REALLY a first time for everything sooner or later EDIT : Just a reminder, wood in , wood storage , and ashes out ( entryway/ exit needs to be close as possible to fireplace )
Move garage to other side and back a bit. Move laundry room to back of house and have garage enter there. Rearrange kitchen for bigger window and possibly open up to living room. Bedroom can now have a much needed window or two.
Wonderful home! I love the interior. Pity the masters bedroom doesn't have its own private full bathroom. That laundry could have doubled as a half bath w/washer/dryer combo.
I particularly like the entrance foyer with a coat closet, and there's room for a bench for removing footwear. I would forego the fireplace for a TV. I appreciate the fact that the dining table rather than the kitchen is the view from the hallway. I like the laundry room, and there's space to fit in a small pantry cabinet. In the kitchen I would have cabinets rather than open shelves. The first bedroom shown has no window! That would not be legal in some US states. Perhaps you can eliminate the garage, move a few walls, and end up with a bigger master bedroom, a master bath and a walk-in closet.
I have 2 thoughts, one can enter from foyer or from the end of the garage, which place do you think is more suitable :)). Personally, if I lived in such a small house, I probably wouldn't need a second entrance. What do you think of that thought of mine?
@@avnstudio93 As I live on a hillside my garage is section off of the basement. So I would move the bench cabinet to the inside wall and put a door there. The whole point of having a garage is not having be subjected to bad weather.
@@avnstudio93I personally like the idea of entering the foyer from the garage . I'd move the double entry doors to between the two windows in the living room . I'd just use a single door there . ( that checks all the boxes for fireplace operations ) If it's just the " DREAM KILLER " and Myself , I'd use the bedroom closet to the kitchen for a pantry & freezer room & gun safe room .
I would push the garage back 10 feet to provide a window. This also helps to create a rear door from the garage to the kitchen door of the house. A detached garage would also do the trick. You can add a small courtyard between the bedroom and the garage. French doors instead of a window. Adding an ensuite, creates a new master.
would knock out wall between kitchen and laundry room. Then cut back the dinning room wall that is open. detach the garage it takes away from the look of the house.
A note on the music: It makes me nervous to hear the regular clicks, claps, whatever -- they intrude on my thoughts as I'm trying to focus on each scene. Not a peaceful feeling at all. 🙂
The front view is appealing, but the kitchen needs some overhead cabinets. The bedroom without a window is a big no.

The exterior is beautiful. I love the placement of the living room in line of sight to the dining room.

Seriously.
Magnifique !!! J'adore 💕!!!💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Did I miss it, or are there no windows in the back bedroom?

NICE!❤
There is no window in the one bedroom…….not a big fan of this design.
it needs a 1/2 bathroom (toilet + sink) for guests
As you come in the front door to the left, a half bath would be great. Still room for a vestibule I think. No corner sink, horrible idea!

Love the design and has great curb appeal.🤔 Where's the entryway from garage to the house?

No egress in the first bedroom, would need to remove the garage to provide a window. Otherwise a lovely design.

❤ very nice layout.👍 love it
Am I missing something? Where are the utilities in the house e.g. HVAC?
Very nice, but I agree, also needs a 1/2 bath or another bathroom with sink and shower.
you will win this one Maybe I'll lose sleep to think of something better
I thought you Jasper and AVN were one and the same. Must use the same software and music
You can't have a bedroom without a window

I don't think 7x10mts is enough for this spaces .
If this house were reversed it’d be perfect for my lot. I love it
This is a small house, I wouldn’t say a tiny house. It’s beautiful but probably pretty expensive.
its small not tiny ^^
Ouw my God, master bedroom has no window, this is very bad idea and for the first time I hate this house....
I think a skylight over the master bedroom would be an easy add

To small for one person.
This is definitely more than adequate for one person
