Hi mate! I appreciate the comment. You can actually create a basic website with MailChimp too. We have a tutorial on this. Yes you can, however only with a paid plan.

Hi Natasa, Yes you can add a e-book download when someone subscribes. This will be sent in the welcome email. If you go to 'campaigns and set up a welcome email with a downloadable attachment. In regards to a 'pop up form' that pops up when a visitor first lands on your website. This is a different process.

Thanks Stewart! Success on my first attempt using your tutorial! Would you coach me on how to add a text box overlay to a picture and then adjust its opacity/transparency? I selected 'grow your list' template but I could only use white text boxes or colored boxed texts; none allowed me to add a text box over the background picture which was very common in the other templates. The floating input boxes look way cooler overlaying the picture. Thanks!

Hi Maggie, Yes you can do this. I will have to make another tutorial on this. However, I would personal create an automated first 'welcome email' that gets sent to your subscribers as soon as they put in their email. In the welcome email, they can download the ebook. Hope this helps.

Great tutorial! We've tried for 3 hours to create a simple landing page, but honestly the system is really hard to figure out. We can't create a headline for a signup-form, we can't make an anchor link down to the signup form and we can't find out why we can't add more blocks... We're used to the ease of use of Wix, so it's really hard to find our way around in this.
@@AdalydGracia what you can do is connect your proper domain to Mailchimp. Where did you buy your domain? If you have one. If not just use the free domain that MailChimp provides.

@@jaggisingh6946 HI mate, correct. However, dont get confused with creating a email campaign rather than a landing page. If you create a email campaign and select that audience then yes that email campaign will send to your audience. A landing page is just a stand alone website page. I hope that makes sense.

I have two primary lists in my FreshSales CRM. (1.) Leads/prospects and (2.) Current and recent clients. I need to sync BOTH lists from FreshSales into MailChimp but it appears I can only connect 1 list (or audience). My subscribe pop-up needs to go to my Leads audience and sync up to FreshSales. Is there a way to have both FreshSales lists to sync to MailChimp so all updates from emails sent in MailChimp will be tracked in FreshSales for ALL contacts? Thanks for any help you might give.

Yes of course, you can customise the fields the way you like. Alternatively, you can use Google forms to create a free landing page / questionnaire that captures more detailed information.
So Im struggling with something, if we create more than one landing page, each offering a different freebie how do we direct one welcome email to a specific landing page? For example: landing page one offers a free recipe book, landing page 2 offers a free workout book - same audience. So i want people who sign up at the recipe landing page to receive the welcome email with that file
Hi Mate, Yes, you can go to Campaigns and create a welcome email campaign and attach a freebie or downloadable item. That way when someone submits their email to you, you will send a welcome email with the freebie. All the best!

Hi mate, one is custom the other is branded. Basically, the MailChimp one is free and not as professional as your own URL.

Hi Bobby, you sure can. However, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan. The free version of MailChimp will only allow your to sync one audience.

Yes of course, you can customise the fields the way you like. Alternatively, you can use Google forms to create a free landing page / questionnaire that captures more detailed information.

So Im struggling with something, if we create more than one landing page, each offering a different freebie how do we direct one welcome email to a specific landing page? For example: landing page one offers a free recipe book, landing page 2 offers a free workout book - same audience. So i want people who sign up at the recipe landing page to receive the welcome email with that file

Yes you can do this. You can filter your audience. However, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan to create multiple audiences.

Yes, you can go to Campaigns and create a welcome email campaign and attach a freebie or downloadable item. That way when someone submits their email to you, you will send a welcome email with the freebie. All the best!
