I'm honored that you call this 'for beginners'! :-) I want to check sth with you: If I put on my free website a doc for which people need to give their name and email to download it for free, do I need the mailchimp only to save the emails and make a simple list separating the addresses with a coma? It seems to me that I need it more to thank for having landed on my page (and downloaded the doc) and to contact them for future short publication announcements because the mailchimp templates look profi, you're right. Anyway, the video is great!
@@StewartGauld Before discovering mailchimp, I've seen lists of emails (in Word) just separated by a coma used to send information to everybody on that list. If people give their email address to download a doc for free from my website and I don't have mailchimp installed, I think I still can collect their emails manually, don't I?

Has mail chimp changed lately? I definitely don’t have all the template options you did and it super hard to use. Mine isn’t a split screen like your with all the options on the right when you choose a template.
Hi Haley, Yes it has changed slightly, however, it has the same options just in a different format. It hope you can get your head around it. I will also, put a new tutorial together soon with for the new updates!

When I got to 20:15 I was unable to delete my blocks, I press the Edit Block pen and it not working, however if I press the bin icon everything in the block get deleted. Can you help me with this bit PLEASE!!! because I am unable to continue until I get rid of the blocks.
Hi Bola, To delete the block just click the bin icon and if you want to edit the block you can double click on the block and just delete and edit elements within your block.

I want to use this domain name to create a G suit account but I cannot use it. It says that is already registered and awaits verification. The domain is verified though. So I don't know how to solve this problem. I appreciate it if you could help me with it.
Hi Sara, you are very welcome! You will have to wait until your domain is propagated. Which can take about 24hours since purchasing the domain. Then you should be able to connect with G Suite and follow the DNS process.

But when a person signs-up for my newsletter, they get a message of conformation which is good but this message is coming from the name of the site I signed up with on my mailchimp and I cannot change this??? can you help?

I think this means your audience. Make sure you have an audience list selected. Under Audience.

Make sure that you have verified your domain. Have you tried sending test emails to multiple inboxes?
