Surprised this wasn’t mentioned. Before starting Skechers, their creator founded L.A.Gear. It followed the same model of copying others. Before Nike tried a pump to copy Reebok, LA Gear made the regulator, a cheaper pump system and Reebok knockoff. Its also why LA Gear lights was transferred to Skechers.
a design can not be copyright... you can do it with tech or trademark but overall they can made minor adjustment and it is legal... that how the real market work....
Hender Scheme shoes occupy a much more upmarket luxury niche. I have no clue on the actual reason but I assume the brands give their blessing to copy the shoe designs in the hopes that the rich people who buy them will be introduced into the sneaker world and their brand in particular.
Reebok Pumps were released back in the late 80s not the late 90s. The Nike Pumps drop in the early 90s. I know because I had the Reeboks and Nike Pumps.
bro can you make video of your top 10 or 5 video that can replace treands sneakers or like ultrboost that more cheaper than that and easy to buy or to find in the store at the same time comfortable to wear even not much like ultra boost or a nike flyknit

Auctualy nike aka brs and asics or anasuca tiger were partners and created tge the shoe together they went thru 2 - 3 different names but nike was allowed to keep the name and they both got tye design
You can’t get into any discussion of the Yeezys unless you acknowledge they they themselves are a rip off of the Nike Roshes. They are so much alike that people started to custom the Roshes to be Yeezys. Who copied first? Clearly the Yeezys.
Couple of thoughts: Interesting that Adidas and Puma have similar models given that their founders were brothers. It's def a sneaker battle in Germany when you think about it. Also, Under Armour is in its own lane when it comes to design. Technology-wise I think HOVR is their version of Boost/NRGY/React foam.
I don't mind when companies like addidas and nike rip off other companys because I usually like their take better but sketches always makes way shittier versions of what they rip off
Hes, there's something that needs to be addressed because I don't think the history of "knit" isn't primarily derived by the gods at "Nike" at all. It was the creation of a machine by Japanese company Shima Seiki that had propelled the knit textile segment of the industry to a new level. "A flexible two-piece slider mechanism replaces the conventional latch mechanism and offers possibilities in both knitting and transfer never imagined before. This also eliminates the transfer clip and allows the needle to be mounted in the center of the needle groove, thereby achieving perfectly symmetrical loop formation for knitting the highest possible quality fabrics." This means that a machine was able to pump out individual full pieces (such as shirts, pants, socks, beanies) in less than a minute, rather than 8~10 minutes of cutting and stitching fabrics together. Major fashion designers like Gucci, Armani, Dior, Versace use their machines in tandem with high quality textiles like cashmere, silk, while Uniqlo has these machines in Vietnam and Thailand using their great affordable cottons.
I think an honorable mention would be Aldo. I’ve seen some of there casual shoes being copies from other brands. One of their models looks like a copy of the Adidas tubulars.
hi,Hes Kicks. I am a big fan of Onitsuka. do you own any Onitsuka sneakers? is it worthless among the sneaker heads community? i hardly seen people talk about it
but looks like it never achieved much success in the west or USA. maybe it does better under the Asics branch. but still never considered a hip thing to wear it
Lukas Gros it is comfortable i definetly agree BUT there is cheaper alternatives Like the nike free, i got one of those shoes anf they comfortable af, but can't really pull em off like ultraboost
Prime knit was out first. Ronaldo was wearing them in Europe first. The release came first in euro countries.... then Nike came out with fly knit.... then adidas have to go through legal issues in them in the us cuz of fly
IMHO Hender schemes are 1k sometimes below I don't think that adidas or nike customers are trying to pay 1k retail for shoes. Also they don't have the history of high quality on their side. So somebody coming in making a damn good high end rep of their models shouldn't be effecting their bottom line at all.
Sketchers also ripped air technology they made a vapormax plus rip to unknowing people they've called my vapormax plus original fades sketchers so yeah that sucks.
I been designing shoes for over 30 years but never got any to companies, I came up with shoxs in 87 while in the 9th grade just to see nike make them years later, do anyone no how I can get some of my designs and logo out or started I really think I have something that can be great, anyone thank you

Isn't PUMA and adidas owned by Adolf Dassler's kids? They're brothers. So is there really a lawsuit?
Armand Adnan yes, they were "sibling" companies so to speak but they had a falling out and went their separate ways
Besides those companies are hold by shareholders now. That sibling stuff doesn't matter.
You're critical of Sketchers but not Nike stealing shoe styles/technology. Interesting. That's what call zero integrity.

I like the scheme when they rip of addidas and Nike when they make a replica of the shoes but leather
a Korean brand paperplanes ripped off the air max 90, stan smith and more
Can you make a video about a hypebeast glossary?.
Hender scheme has such a small share of the market that I doubt it's worth it for the big brands to sue.

Those sketchers d lites low key fire.
No troop? They bit off the Jordan 2 and adidas Patrick Ewing (rivalry), Reebok bit off Gucci with the S. Carter and adidas Rod Laver with the G unit.

HEs, how can you not point out the Stan Smith and how it’s the base model for almost every designer now
Wait, did converse copy keds?
Stan Smith was copied hundreds of times. Converse weapon was copied for Jordan 1. The whole industry copies.
My little sister had s pair of sketchers but for some shady reason took the style of converse so there's another copy
hi,Hes Kicks. I am a big fan of Onitsuka. do you own any Onitsuka sneakers? is it worthless among the sneaker heads community? i hardly seen people talk about it
