Stripped of their privileges and feeling the weight of their choices, they struggle with the harsh reality of potentially being expelled. In a desperate attempt to remedy the situation, they devise a plan to communicate with the plant using Veridian harmonic resonance techniques. This innovative approach calms the plant, proving its peaceful intentions and potentially mitigating the damage. However, their efforts are interrupted when the academy's authorities decide to evacuate the facility, considering the situation too dangerous to handle. In a bold move, Nora and her friends decide to take the plant back to Veridia themselves, hoping to restore balance and demonstrate their commitment to resolving the conflict they inadvertently caused. The chapter closes with them departing the academy under the cover of night, uncertain of their future but resolute in their mission to make things right.

Why would students be exposed to unknown lifeforms? Why would a school not have backup power? Why would an alien school be ignorant of alien lifeforms? This story seems to reflect the ignorance and fear of the unknown that humans displayed before we went to space. Seeing our planet from space made the people who can think rationally realize that we all need to think of our home as a precious, rare place to be preserved and not endangered.
