Basically Forced Induction rogue talent makes it so when you consume a supercharged combo point your finishing move acts like it consumed an extra 3 combo points instead of 2 and Idk if Echoing Reprimand used to work like this but i tried Supercharge on ptr and its way more functional like this. Let's say it supercharged your 1st and 2nd combo point and you use a finishing move with 5 combo points, it consumes one of the supercharges and you get the bonus effect so you dont have to use that specific combo point.
Before, with echoing reprimand, the supercharged combo point would make the finisher act as if you had 7 combo points regardless of which combo point was charged.
feels like they are working towards being able to spec healers to be more like other MMO healers where they are support roles that can dps while healing the group. It already feels like most heal specs have a way of putting out some respectable dps (except maybe Hpal and HPriest, but I don't play HPriest). Honestly it adds some fun to be able to weave dps rotations into healing the team. Fistweaving was engaging to me for that reason since you weren't a background piece of furniture just throwing out heals and CC while keeping your positioning.
deathstalker stuff just flat out wasn't working with the bonus combo points from echoing reprimand. rather than fix how it worked it was probably just easier to make an entirely new skill passive and remove a button.
I was noticing that, I was curious an actual 7 point envenom was going for 1MIL+ and then id hit one of the anima charged (3-5) charged envenom and deal 300k...like come on.

Yesterday I ran some 2s on my rogue with my healer. Did around 60mil damage on a game, there was an evoker in front, and he did 120mil. Then I played against an enhancement, he did 30mil and I did 60mil. Basically evoker are doing 4 times the damage of enhancement, and Blizzard is still not nerfing evo, and still not buffing enhancement. This is just so ridiculous
I have reported a big bug on the bm hunter with the dire beast skill, where the summoned beast will hit an out of combat target within range forcing you(or your dungeon group) into combat. I had to switch to mm for the time being until they fix it. Was pissing every tank off with that bug. So tanks need to be aware of this bug as well. It's not the hunter's fault, it is a big bug...
The glide is a problem yes. As much as I like it on a warrior hunter mage or rogue even, it is simply gonna be mandatory almost. It gives you so much movement other races dont have, and movement is the name of the game in this game and most games. Mythic and PvP especially are gonna make people reroll dracthyr and I for one dont think a racial should be that much of an incentive to reroll. Also esthetically its kinda meh to see so many dracthyr around and a lot less other races. Glide should be on a CD for other classes but evoker. Evoker is the dragon class, the others are not. Make it 20 sec CD or something, maybe make it a double jump + glide instead of just glide. I dont know. But they need to do something with it to limit it otherwise I do think its gonna be unhealthy for the game.

For the Subterfuge change, I think it means the auras that would normally be granted by stealth will have a duration increase that's equal to subterfuge (6 seconds). So take em by surprise gives you 10% more haste for 16 secs after breaking stealth instead of 10. ... I think
Looking at the main outliers for PvP, the classes that need the most love are BM Hunter Aug evoker, fire mage, arcane mage, outlaw rogue and demo lock. Next would be Enhance Shaman, Boomie, survival hunter and sub rogue that need some help as well. Classes that DO NOT need any love right now are Unholy DK, Dev evoker, MM hunter, Frost mage, WW monk, ret pali, Spriest, assa rogue, aff lock and fury war. All remaining DPS that are not listed need maybe some very minor tuning. This is based on the Solo Shuffle list.
Hell yeah! We got a buff with lava burst. Oh wait we got reduced half of the buff but in overall damage for shaman elementals. In pvp it feels like im scratching his back. Either buff mastery or atleast increase 30% the damage...
I wish they remove some keybinds from resto shaman, I had to add a 4th bar for this expansion. I cant imagine a new player trying pvp with R shaman, most people will just quit, trust me, its bad.
Yeah I had to swap to harm no harm macros. Frost shock and purge, heal and lightning bolt, etc,. Macros healing stream into anything not on the GCD. Cast sequence for big defensive. I went from arena1,2,3 macros to focus macros. I don't even, just pvp so it's been fun creating more macros.

The Thorim's Invocation change seems huge, mainly because you don't want to ever cast a 5 stack Tempest because it's a total waste. Ideally you want 10 stacks, but in dire need 8 is okay. Right now while Ascended, if you're don't slotted for lightning bolt when a Tempest you really lose out.
Arcane mage changes are net neutral. Theyre just counteracting the previous changes they made where you cant double dip on your buffs anymore. They took the 30% burden of power buff to barrage away, then gave a 30% dmg buff to barrage on glorious incandescence. It effectively doesnt alter the damage or rotation of mages, just makes it so that the tooltips correctly explain the buffs instead of "double dipping"
Symphonic arsenal buff is survival only because they made butchery a 1 stack only 15 sec cd ability instead of 3 stacks. it was doing aoe dmg to people with sentinel on so it's not lunar storm
Every class has button bloat. Obviously some more than others. I think every class should have 10-15 buttons maximum. Log onto a Shaman, Rogue or Paladin and need 41 keybinds is a bit crazy. Which is a bit weird because over the past 4-5 expansions they've really catered to new players but trying to play WoW as a beginner is absolutely atrocious.
Symphonic Arsenal for survival needs a huge buff because you will be using far less Butcheries if these changes go through. In my testing, Symphonic damage was reduce by as much as 80% on PTR compared to live. 200% is actually still not enough.
As a rogue player I can tell you FOR SURE that idk wtf is going on... but I'm a 2k rated nobody so I never know what's going on xD all I can say is the changes aren't making me quit rogue, but I do not like the thistle tea change. The dang button is off the gcd, it's easy enough to macro into your burst or press the button while you're locked in a gcd from one of your other button presses. I really hope they do something else with that. I think your assessment of lesson button bloat and more sustain is correct though, time will tell. Most likely though rogues will be just fine, I just hope they shake up the meta builds a little because everything feels the same from season 4 of DF and it's a little stale imo.
Rogue changes sound eh. Currently love thistle tea, and hate echoing. Thistle tea change will only help to widen the gap between casual and top players. IMO echoing is a raid talent, much much more useful to grab 2/2 subterfuge instead of echoing. Garrote silences from stealth, and kidney shot can be used as many times as you want in that window. + you can spread garrote/rupture and tag a ton of targets, massive energy regen with 5-6 globals. Playing that spec, the cheap shot change ends up being pretty damn good. I would MUCH rather have extra utility throughout the entire dungeon, than be able to get 2 finishers off with 1-2 less mutilates.
you are forgetting about the sentinel talent that makes it so when you swap to a different target that doesn’t have the sentinel the buff on it, you automatically apply 2 stacks
Played 75 matches of Solo so far. About 50 win rate still only 1300. Went 5/6 and recieved 20 rating change. Had plenty of 4/6 with one point increase. Going to lose healers this way. AlsobI have not encountered one other hpal in all those matches. Mostly disc priests.
Supa, for the Rogue section, basically there were various abilities that did not follow the Subterfuge ability that gave you a bonus while in stealth. Now you actually get to have those (according to this post). Imagine selecting Subterfuge as a talent and getting happy thinking this will give you 6 seconds of using "stealth" abilities after breaking stealth (which it is supposed to do) then realizing you DO NOT get this! This is how it has been. For some reason Rogue had abilities that lasted for different durations after breaking stealth which ended before Subterfuge ended, now they are supposed to end after the 6 seconds of Subterfuge instead of 3 or 4 or what not.
The SHAMAN changes are so amazing for me 😱 100% aimed towards players who want nothing to do with Lava Lash or the elementalist playstyle, and I’m so ready for this!! Omgosh I’m so pumped. Get this garbage lava lash and primordial wave OFF my spec 😂😂 yessss!!!!

Back and forth with the ele shaman. So obvious they clearly have no idea or direction on what they want from this class. Maybe they realized they created a hero tree that was never going to be used once they dropped their last set of changes. I suspect they will be going back and forth with this. Painful for whoever wasted their time leveling this spec.
8% dmg reduction is insane though. Makes the difference between viable/non viable. And IMO the lava burst buff doesn’t make up for that, other than forcing you to play more lava burst. Which I’m fine with but I don’t like being forced to play a certain different way each couple of weeks due to tuning changes

Average players spend more time trying to land on the CP rather than doing rotational DPS often losing overall damage because of its obnoxious design conflicting with RNG Combo point generation. Please just remove Anima charged combo points. Rogue has become so tedious to play, far worse than anything else😢 after 18 years of maining Rogue I'm just sad when I play it but too attached to let it go.

Its easier to balance rogue specs for PvP when they dont have 10 stacking buffs and modifiers. I think its good changes to the health of the class. Its either always been GOD class or completely dogshit

Now you always use burden on blast then incandescence on barrage and it should be net 0 neutral change. Instead of double dipping you do this instead which is essentially "double dipping" except now the tooltip correctly reflects this

The change on rogues is dumb, now we gonna have to make sure that when the end of the pull is near we gonna have to not spend energy et by extent have less dps near the end of each fight to make sure we dont proc the energy tea which would result in a loss since the fight will be over and the energy will be regenerating anyway, also means we gonna need to pull another fast to not make the mastery bonus go to waste. oh my god cmmon. by trying to simplify everything they just nerf

you must be new to WoW PvP i assume, it's been world of meleecraft for a good while now where 90% of melee specs can just faceroll their keyboard and 2-3 shot any ranged while having like 100000000 immunities and gap closers to make sure they can't be kited. Unless you're in the top 5% of casters and can maybe outplay/kite someone who is at half your skill level... and you still have to work for it.

Rdruid got buffed. The pvp changes are to counteract the overall buffs (they quite literally target the same spells, you get 2 NS but at 40% reduced increase, still a net buff/ you get 20% longer and shorter C ward, but it heals 20% less, another net buff due to decreased CD)

By removing double-dip on Burden, it usually wasn't worth casting barrage on burden anyways. These are pretty much just straight buffs to arcane.
Pvper arcane main here. Losing barrage on burden is a huge L. I have a feeling arcane is now dead for pvp. I'll probably be rerolling lock now.

To be fair, most people quit pvp already. I fought glass in 1400 matches, that means there's nobody on the ladder and the mode is dead.

The arcane soul changes are probably to counter reduced baseline arcane soul from last weeks patch. The mana cascade stacks are a buff tho

The fatebound rogue change just means that you get both buffs from heads and tails - landing on its edge

Rogue changes sound eh. Currently love thistle tea, and hate echoing. Thistle tea change will only help to widen the gap between casual and top players.
IMO echoing is a raid talent, much much more useful to grab 2/2 subterfuge instead of echoing. Garrote silences from stealth, and kidney shot can be used as many times as you want in that window. + you can spread garrote/rupture and tag a ton of targets, massive energy regen with 5-6 globals. Playing that spec, the cheap shot change ends up being pretty damn good.
I would MUCH rather have extra utility throughout the entire dungeon, than be able to get 2 finishers off with 1-2 less mutilates.

you are forgetting about the sentinel talent that makes it so when you swap to a different target that doesn’t have the sentinel the buff on it, you automatically apply 2 stacks

Played 75 matches of Solo so far. About 50 win rate still only 1300. Went 5/6 and recieved 20 rating change. Had plenty of 4/6 with one point increase. Going to lose healers this way. AlsobI have not encountered one other hpal in all those matches. Mostly disc priests.

Supa, for the Rogue section, basically there were various abilities that did not follow the Subterfuge ability that gave you a bonus while in stealth. Now you actually get to have those (according to this post). Imagine selecting Subterfuge as a talent and getting happy thinking this will give you 6 seconds of using "stealth" abilities after breaking stealth (which it is supposed to do) then realizing you DO NOT get this! This is how it has been. For some reason Rogue had abilities that lasted for different durations after breaking stealth which ended before Subterfuge ended, now they are supposed to end after the 6 seconds of Subterfuge instead of 3 or 4 or what not.
The SHAMAN changes are so amazing for me 😱 100% aimed towards players who want nothing to do with Lava Lash or the elementalist playstyle, and I’m so ready for this!! Omgosh I’m so pumped. Get this garbage lava lash and primordial wave OFF my spec 😂😂 yessss!!!!

8% dmg reduction is insane though. Makes the difference between viable/non viable. And IMO the lava burst buff doesn’t make up for that, other than forcing you to play more lava burst. Which I’m fine with but I don’t like being forced to play a certain different way each couple of weeks due to tuning changes

Stoked they are getting rid of Echoing reprimand. Absolutely tragic they are keeping anima charged combo points. It's awful to track awful to use and doesn't even contribute much. Average players spend more time trying to land on the CP rather than doing rotational DPS often losing overall damage because of its obnoxious design conflicting with RNG Combo point generation. Please just remove Anima charged combo points. Rogue has become so tedious to play, far worse than anything else😢 after 18 years of maining Rogue I'm just sad when I play it but too attached to let it go.

theyre net neutral changes. Theyre just counteracting the previous changes they made where you cant double dip on your buffs anymore. They took the 30% burden of power buff to barrage away, then gave a 30% dmg buff to barrage on glorious incandescence. It effectively doesnt alter the damage or rotation of mages, just makes it so that the tooltips correctly explain the buffs instead of "double dipping"

Burden of power no longer working for Barrage is a huge nerf and will change Arcane rotation for the third time since launch XD
nah its not. They removed double dip on burden then added that damage back on incandescence. Its quite literally a net 0, a neutral change lol. Now you always use burden on blast then incandescence on barrage and it should be net 0 neutral change. Instead of double dipping you do this instead which is essentially "double dipping" except now the tooltip correctly reflects this
This is just a buff tho, and make the rotation feel even better by not losing the damage from BoP and instead moving it to GI.

Hunter is one of the 3 King DPS Speccs in BGs. Mage is middle field. Both viable at all 3 speccs.
They removed tail swipe because priests can be evoker, and enough classes already have a knockback so priest can't have one.
The same problems remain for enhance in pvp. 1 charge of our mobility gap closer Feral Lunge while others get 2 charges.. fel rush, shadow step, warrior charge, roll, death grip, etc...
Imagine a million changes and players have 1 piece of gear..
The change on rogues is dumb, now we gonna have to make sure that when the end of the pull is near we gonna have to not spend energy et by extent have less dps near the end of each fight to make sure we dont proc the energy tea which would result in a loss since the fight will be over and the energy will be regenerating anyway, also means we gonna need to pull another fast to not make the mastery bonus go to waste. oh my god cmmon. by trying to simplify everything they just nerf

I loved getting trained by melee in solo shuffle all night last night and going 0 and 6 because fury ww and feral are out of control. Totally normal.
you must be new to WoW PvP i assume, it's been world of meleecraft for a good while now where 90% of melee specs can just faceroll their keyboard and 2-3 shot any ranged while having like 100000000 immunities and gap closers to make sure they can't be kited. Unless you're in the top 5% of casters and can maybe outplay/kite someone who is at half your skill level... and you still have to work for it.

Numerically rogue has always been bottom 3. In DF the two lowest were Evoker and Rogue

@@lars4422 I think it's always been one of the OP and most opressive PvP classes (as can be seen by pretty much ANY top arena team) but it's a very high skill class and most can't pull it off. Besides WoW isn't really a PvP game anyways so that's why I think it's not that popular.

Rdruid got buffed. The pvp changes are to counteract the overall buffs (they quite literally target the same spells, you get 2 NS but at 40% reduced increase, still a net buff/ you get 20% longer and shorter C ward, but it heals 20% less, another net buff due to decreased CD)
