Made these yesterday on a 26" Kettle. They turned out very good. I followed all this guys directions and tips. This is something you could easily portion out and try different flavors and rubs all in one cook. I plan on doing this one on a regular. Thnx
I tried this method the other day…turned out fantastic…so tender and delicious…awesome video…is your wishing well rub and sauce available in Canada, would love to try them
Just got a free smoker from my neighbor who upgraded. its been neglected, so I'm cleaning and refurbing it. This right here is going to be my first smoking experience, I can't wait to try this
I have been smoking brisket for a few years now. I have an offset smoker. I shoot for 250 chamber temp and 198 internal temp and usually finish in 11 hours. I will definitely be trying this. My only question is, how do you finish at 200+ degrees in under 8 hours? Thanks man.
This is a Chuck Roast, not a brisket. If these were traditional brisket burnt ends they would take a little longer. The roast will cook much faster than brisket.
No your video was not confusing, I've just started cooking on a pellet grill so I like to look at different recipes and go from there. None of the recipes are close, cook temperature ranges from 225 to 300, cook till 165 to 185 internal temp, which I watch for bark. Wrap don't wrap, use foil use butcher paper, not foil. Cube 1st don't cube 1st, Just many different suggestions, am sorry , yours is not confusing, I had just watched and read 30 + recipes and I was more confused , I apologize Thanks for responding
@@WishingWellBBQ Thanks for the reply! I didn't notice them till you were eating with them on! Definitely going to try this one, gloveless so I can lick my fingers though. Keep up the good work man, subscribed!
Dude’s just dying to make a video. Settle the f$&k down. I grabbed a smoker cheap on Marketplace and have made some great stuff. Chuck roast is much cheaper than brisket so the point of his video is valid.
@@WishingWellBBQ I’m still watching the video and you replied. Nice man. My wife and I are literally sitting here right now deciding what to bring to a get together this weekend and I’m gonna do exactly this. Not because I can’t afford it (I can). Not because I don’t have brisket available (I do). But because it looks good and I like the recipe and video. Good on you man! You gained my subscription!
Your video was good! But can y’all please stop calling that cheap ass parkay butter!! That is NOT BUTTER!!! Good butter is kind of a natural food, that parkay is junk and chemicals!!!!

Thank you so much!!! I’m so glad this recipe turned out for you! Thanks for the support!!!
"Smoke and seasoning on all 4 sides" of cubed pieces. Where I come from a cube is 6 sides. 😂😂
Oof. You are right. Bone head thing I did not catch! 🤣
7:20, the fact that you did this run down... I will give you my sub. Also, you made me hungry. Going to try this because 2022 made me poor.

Thank you!!! It’s a must try!!!
Chuck roast was on sale today so I’m gonna make these tomorrow!
Dude, you’re in for a treat I’ll tell you!
Great video I really enjoyed watching it.
That butter is a great idea to add some fat for tenderness. I was wondering if some lard would be a good idea?
Yes! That would work as well!
Great recipe.
It’s on my short list to make.
Thanks for sharing.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome! Can’t wait to see how it turns out! Thanks for watching!
Great video. I love your end-of-video review. Good stuff, my friend.
Very easy recipe..😁

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
What type of rack do you use
Just a standard wire rack. I think I got it at Walmart!

Either way I’m so glad you made it! I hope you enjoy!
The Man has a beard of course he can cook.
That’s right!!!
Parkay??
You could also use any form of butter if you like!
I've looked at 30+ different recipes for this. None are even close so dang confusing!!!
Would you mind elaborating? This video is confusing? Other videos are confusing? They are all confusing? I’d love to help you out!

lol $6.99/lb is half price for me in NJ
Yeah it’s getting worse!
Whats with the gloves?
Blue gloves? They are food grade, just came in the color blue!

@@jamiehewitt428 thanks, Jamie! I appreciate your support. And yes, go gloveless!
Sorry but poor man's burnt ends are spam squares bbq'd!
Oh, that’s POOR POOR! 😆
I like the fat.
Parkay? Really?
For real! Or you could use any butter you wish.
@@WishingWellBBQ That's not butter. I don't know what it is. Could I use mayonnaise? Or just some sort of vegetable oil?
@@gizzyguzzi you could if you wanted to!!!
I appreciate you bud but your burnt ends did not need a binder. I wish people would stop squirting mustard all over their meat.
Definitely not a requirement. Everyone does BBQ their own way. If you don’t want to use a binder, you can skip that step.
@@WishingWellBBQ I appreciate the response. They look delicious. I’ll give your a recipe a try. Minus the binder lol.
If you can afford that smoker, you can afford brisket.
Maybe, but maybe I want to try something a little different 😉
I paid 50 bucks for a real nice used offset smoker. So I can afford it. Maybe he's poor because he spent all his money on that smoker!

Toss the fat ?!
You could totally make tallow out of it if you wish!
Poor men can't afford the ridiculous price of chuck today.
It’s not that bad around here actually!
