wait.. I just realized there was also a kid in Jin's video too.. man dang. These lyrics are great throughout the entire song.
@@Kkmm17 Ahhh shit I didn't thought of that and your comment makes me feel so sad. Our sun is leaving us soon for 2 years 😭😭😭 I'm not ready
There's a reaction channel by a guy that is trying to benefit by creating/riding on fan competition between BP fans and BTS fans, don't reward this please.
@@Kkmm17 if you come across it you'll know I just don't want people to innocently go there and waste their time and have no idea of things he said in other videos
@@Kkmm17 no. I will feel really bad if you go over there and waste time with his games. Trust me you'll know it if you come across it. Very obvious he's not even trying to hide it and it's all juvenile and a waste of time. And disrespectful of kpop fans imo
oh shittt is everyone gonna do that in their mvs before they go into military lmao
The second part of the song represents how hobi’s journey started. Hobi is a dancer just as he is a rapper, if not even more. He started dancing before he even wanted to become an idol. He dances to jcole’s verses just how he did when he was a kid as he has been one of his biggest inspirations to become an artist. Throughout the song he keeps moving forward as he keeps dancing to jcole signaling he has and keeps considering him his muse to his artistry. For me, he wanted to represent the two sides of him, the rapper and the dancer, thats why jcole’s part is bigger in this song
YES!!! If you listen to Cole’s rap, a lot of what he is saying applies to Hobi too. I totally agree with your comment. The song and video is so Hobi and so beautiful.
This was beautifully written. Thank you💜
dang so its like jcole's signaling jhope to move foward career wise and at the end they're meeting at the top.. fire
G DRAGON THE KING ,
well said
Hobi giving himself 8 bars and letting Jcole have a whole 32 on his OWN SONG is absolute respect.
It's just about money
@@Siuuu18vkit’s about respect, you can’t be that blind
@@Viralclipmedia what's respect in this?😂😂you guys don't even know about hiphop kids j Cole is not just a name j hope is a kid who can't even rap spitting bars is not everyone's cup of tea and that 8 lines of j hope was not even a proper verse that's trash j Cole saved the song
@SHUBH∆M Hobi already makes enough money on his own, he could care less about the money. J.cole happens to be one of his inspirations when it comes to music, he's mentioned it before and he's even told J.cole when they first met that he is a big fan of his. So yes at the end it is about the respect he has for J.cole not the money.
@SHUBH∆M yo why is you so mad 😭i bet you one of those that hate on kpop cause its korean
genuinely one of the best collabs between a korean and western artist I've ever seen
"You see a top 10 list I see a Golden Corral" 🥶🥶
Golden Corral is a restaurant chain so basically your top 10 list is just a menu for him. He'll eat them anyday 🥶🥶🥶🥶
All of ‘em!!
Cole carried 🔥
Hv u seen the top 10 list 2023?
Need justice man
J-Cole was J-Hopes inspiration when he first started rapping... Hobi has now come full circle in following his dream and J Cole isn't stopping either. He knows where the gift came from and he is taking to the end.
G DRAGON THE KING
when he said coleworld i screamed ..like non armys just wouldn't understand 😭😭
Facts!!
felt the chills fr fr
Wait I don't understand either, please explain?
@@eleanorr.5973 the og world was hopeworld but when jcole collaborated with Jhope it became coleworld
@@JJ_atan The og world was actually Coleworld, friend! J. Cole's debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story was released back in 2011, and Cole World has been his rapper tag for some time. This is most likely served as Hobi's influence in making Hope World as his rapper tag,
this was so fucking good i literally cried
Hobi sort of took the backseat (rapwise) on this one, he provides beautiful soundscape for JCole to just take it off.. can't believe JCole hinting his retirement in Hobi's song when Hobi's beginning literally started with Cole World.. this whole thing just hits hard..
But he killed the dancing, and loving the whole dance break/freestyle he did, all while J. Cole was spittin in the back, that is most definitely going straight back to Hobi's roots, right?!!!! Yes 🥹
@@sinevinsyep it's definitely like this like how he used to dance while listening to his songs cause he was a dancer first before start singing I guess
@@forever5745 yep, that's right. He was actually already pretty well known as a dancer in the city he is originally from. He was in an underground street dance crew called Neuron, as well as started attended a dance academy at a younger age. I think he was around the age of 14 when he first started taking classes at the dance academy. Jhope is actually the first one among all the members to sign a contract with Bighit as a trainee. I just found out more recently myself, about that last part. Was extremely cool fact to learn though.
It was soooooo worth the wait. God I’m gonna miss that face. I just relate to Hobi in such a special way. What a year he has had and now, he moves forward in life after making peace with the past. So inspirational, you can’t help but admire him. And J COLE, Lord I just don’t know what to say that would do his performance justice.
as a long time fan of both - I love the way they’re both still true to their own styles 😭😭😭
this makes me cry tears of joy...for dearest JHope...for the incredible collab...for Cole World and Hope World coming together like a fulfilment of a heartfelt prophecy....bangtan all the way...
I love the way this song was done so much. Hoseok has already told us a lot with Jack in the box and didn’t need to go off on this song.. it wasn’t about that. He gave J. Cole his time to tell his story. Hoseok wanted that for this song. We know Hoseok’s story pretty well. It’s a full circle thing but also so much appreciation for those who have been there with him on this journey of his. I LOVE it as it is. I wish people would accept it for what it is and not what they wish it was. This ain’t about y’all, this is about Hoseok and J. Cole telling their stories from their pov. Two different artists doing what they do best their way. And it worked amazingly with this beat! Just a great song to vibe with honestly! Thank you for the reaction. Idk J. Cole that well but thoroughly enjoyed his verse.. he told his story and he isn’t done - love that!!
!!!
I agree with you, Amy, so much. It really is all of this!
such a W last song before enlistment for Hope. He's out here pushing to spread hope in the world, doing it with one of the most mainstream rappers out there. I think people seeing Cole collab with Hope will change people's opinions from just throwing these foreigners to the side and it really might start mending the bridge from people seeing KPOP as something foreign and "weird" to genuinely taking it serious.
Lots of symbolic imagery in this video, rites of passage to adulthood and growing up. JHope saying goodbye to the kid at the beginning as a way of saying he is letting go of his old self and saying goodbye to ARMY. The whole going in the empty metro station , symbolising the path he will have to go through alone ( his military service ) entering it by the exit sign /side saying it is something he cannot escape. And then exiting after Cole's verse as to say he will be back after some time.
Cole's verse is great and full of poetic images on internal struggle / battles ( which can also be interpreted as shout out to Jhope for going through what he's about to go through ) Like the first line , All hail the mighty survivor of hell, can be seen as him talking about his own struggles but also definetly as a sign of respect for Hope ( foreshadowing his comeback ) because many view Military as War and War as Hell. ( maybe I'm reaching but i def don't think so, metaphores and future projections are common things in hip hop lyrics )
Now everything could also be interpreted as the journey of JHope who is a fan of J Cole since his young age, all the work he did and the way he travelled to finally be able to meet his own Idol and inspiration.
So basically this is pretty much both of them saying to each other : Respect bro. Until next time.
Omg the way hobi keeps moving keeps going while jcole just stays at the roof top it’s like hobi saying im going to keep moving keep going keep going ahead like u will always inspire me but ima keep goin currently sobbing 😭
Once I heard the chorus tears started streaming down my face, I'm so, so proud of Hobi. An amazing gift of a song before he enlists💜
I feel like the kid represents the youth that J-Hope is passing his hopes and dreams to and continues to inspire just as J. Cole was to him growing up. Also, "On The Street" is where they (J-Hope and BTS) interact with ARMY and provide the road for their journey together. It's a love song to J. Cole and ARMY 🥺💜
Hobi made a dance challenge with it, that is a really cool little choreo. I think if he performs live, there's gonna be more dance in it.
Now I know Hobi but J Cole's lyricism is just WOW?! Like on some spiritual type level. This is the POWER of music bringing artists from two different cultures and reactors together. Tfs
I swear Cole on feature is a different kind of breed.
Boyy I stgg this niqqa don’t miss on features, completely takes over ya song😭🔥🎯
When Cole World met Hope World!
i was waiting for your reaction! Hope and Cole didn't disappoint at all
I love y'all! I appreciate y'all waiting for the videos to peep with me it means a lot
I got emotional while watching the MV, but I think it's because this is his last song to us before he leaves to the military. And I'm just so happy for him that he got to do this song with his role model. Where he got his name from. And J-Hope's super chill with what he had to say. The chorus is said about 4 times and feels more like a J.Cole song but I think that's just because he had so much to say but it's not a bad thing at all. I think the combination between the two is so good. But J.Cole came and has so many things to say which I should not have surprised me. I honestly didn't think he would go this hard on a super chill song like this. I'm just happy that Hobi got to do this with his role model and that's what really got me emotional. Also, the song is so chill. I will probably put it with Airplane and Blue Side since this song gives more Hope World vibes than Jack in the Box.
Jhoooooope 💜💜
Miss u 😭🥺
Hobaaah... oh my GOD . On The Street so damn cool. perfect one to make my heart so soft and tears on my eyes. the beat, the lyrics, the rhyme, the rhythm.. all perfect to me. I am sobbing. Fly Fly Away my beautiful butterfly.. until we meet again...in the flower road. I will be waiting and rooting for you
This has to be the best collab I've seen a K-pop artist do with Hollywood. Loved it so heartily. It means a lot to us 😭😭
that shoutout "jhope" aaaaa chills 🔥🔥🔥
This Song was everything! JHOPE EVERYTHING FOR US! 💜❤️🔥
J Cole is one of the greatest rappers alive period! Jermaines rap was crazy!
yeah, i’m crying, im crying real bad, being a fan of bts since predebut and and seeing how far they’ve come now is really so inspiring and i don’t know how to breathe lmfao 🤣
Since predebut?

This is the coolest gift he could’ve gave us cuz it was a gift to himself too, it’s a full circle moment !
full circle moment for jhope 🥹
Beautiful farewell song from J-Hope with J Cole💜
Jhope you are amazing..a perfect collaboration🤗💜
J Cole is the G. O. A. T
Y'all hating on j hope for letting his idol j Cole hit more lines.shame on you guys where is the love?
Mad respect for this song. I love it
Dream came true for Hobi. Thank you J Cole 🔥
Listening to this song encourages me a lot, seriously it is very beautiful I love the voices, the music, the video everything is very perfect, congratulations for the great work J Hope and with j. cole
It really is amazing to see so much talent from j hope that never ceases to amaze me, new song for my favorite music list. Thank you for so much love j hope you brighten my days🥰
Why am i cryin?? The lyric tho 🥲
Btw, can't wait to see the challenge
I just realized hobi's little self towards the start is wearing the exact same outfit as jcole because growing up hobi was so inspired by him :')
This is everything that anyone wants to listen in whole as life
This is a masterpiece and hosoek never disappoints his fans ❤
Thanks, Anthony for your thoughts and insight on this Epic Collaboration. 💜
J. Cole slayed 🔥👏🏼 sooo so happy for Hobi, he did so amazing + got to work with his idol, a dream come true 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Without even knowing J Cole was Jhope's idol ever since he was doing underground dancing, but seeing the on the roof together as respected peer just got me burst into tears😭😭😭So proud of our Hobbi😭😭😭😭😭
This song is masterpiece 🎧🎧🎧
listening this on repeat after listening to hip-hop phile and honeslty it made me cry, how much hobi and each bts member have gone through, the people they were once mentioning in their songs became people they meet and have songs with TT
I’m so happy for Hobi 😭 His dreams as an artist are really all coming true. My heart is so happy.
This is best collab i ever seen in my life 🫠🤎
J Cole definitely needs to release a collaboration album with Eminem because they take hip hop music seriously especially when it comes to telling people a story with the lyrics J Hope is genius
Thatt niqqa j cole snappedd Soo hard on this shii I stgg.. I thinkk this my new favorite recent verse from jcole🔥🔥🎯
Love the energy brotha !
Loved the MV
What a beautiful way to say his goodbye to ARMY. This song was perfect. Could the little boy be representative of ARMY like in so many of their other songs? After they had that concert where they had the shout out for male ARMY and they were shocked with the response.
Him saying he is leaving his hope on the street....he will still be with us while he is away.
My heart is full of love and pride for them. We will wait for their return.
first time to watch the whole mv, i was rendered speechless.
It's was a beautiful full circle moment type of song, just magical.
It's quite rare that BTS or any BTS member have an artist feature on their song and just eclipse them, J. Cole ate hardcore. Respect that they gave him basically more than half of the song.
Jhope's dance break was beastly, so seeming how they both did freakin great on their own and together, so ....really not sure what you are talking about. No one eclipsed anyone, infact I'm pretty sure that is apart of the point, as well. The meanimg, the feel, is deeper. And they def. aren't trying to complete. It just two artists that respect one another who are truly just enjoying making music together, at its very basics.
They're literally telling stories. J Hope started as a dancer and he had always been dancing on J Cole's track and on this track. The second J Cole's verse hit, Hobi started to dance and he didn't stop until the verse ends.
What a great collab!! Now i'm waiting Bighit releasing jhope-focus version, too (show us his freestyle dancing more !!!🙏🙏)
J-hope dancing literally underground to j.cole’s verse.. where he started. Then he joins his idol on the rooftop at the end 👏🏽 masterpiece ! Best collab ever 💯!
In this video he did what he did when he started, dance to hip hop music and gain inspiration from his idol J Cole and grew into the artist he is today. 💜
My husband doesn't do anything kpop, he's loves Jcole though. Our worlds have collided 😂
Love the video but gotta say your shirt is🔥🔥🔥🤣
I’m glad you noticed the doubling of the voices ❤️🔥😮💨
I’m obsessed 😭😭
j hope the best everrrr 🥰🥰🥰🤪
I knew you would deliver in your reaction. Everything I love and appreciate in this song, you seen too! 😭😭 Thank you Anthony!
J-Hope made this song Especially for his fan base called the Army.
He said he wanted to do a single before he entered into mandatory military service which will be sometime this month he is a server for 2 years.
All the Korean men have to go to mandatory service so this is why BTS is all doing single albums now because all of them will be in the service probably by the end of this year.
BTS trying to finish all the military service by 2025 so they can get back together again as a group.
I think they truly just don't inderstand all this, and probably don't know we have been waiting for Hobi to do some more dancing for us again, or that his roots are based very much with in his dancing, and he wanted to take things back to his roots. Hobi killed that dance break/freestyle, I actually hope he may have a full freestyle to share, but thats probably me just being greedy, lol
@@sinevins i’m sure they do… anthony has been listening to bts for years now, probably since 2018 if i remember correctly
@@sinevins unless you’re referring to a different ‘they’ !
@@gisel00 cool, than he should atleast know a bit more about it, I said they as a general term for those that I have seen making certain comments here and their, online today, so yeah, just a general statement, trying to address certain types of judgements I kept seeing here and there, not addressing anyone specifically. But thanks for the comment, and info, like I said that is cool.
j.cole is always spit hot shit. Bars bars bars
ITS SO GOOD ITS SO GOOD THEY KILLED IT 😭😭😭😭

I find it amazing that Suga wrote JCole part
Suga did not write j-cole’s part
Please be sure to tune in to jhope of BTS's new EP Hope On The Street, coming this Friday March 29! So interested to hear your thoughts!
there is a kid that represents army. A poster that has a 7 on it . the subway staition is from dope . and the subway is represents the train
after coles verse i interpreted it as "every time i walk, everytime i look, everytime i love, as always for God" 🤧💕 SO GOODDDDDDD.
Coles “but like a father, watching his daughter, walk down the altar, you gotta let her grow.” WAS SUCH A GOOD BAR. Comparing his relationship with rap (his creation) to one of a father and a daughter??? That was CRAZYYY AND SUCH A GOOD BAR. You know a father wants to protect this part of himself, his creation, the thing he’s most proud of. But you gotta watch them go on and let them grow and do it’s own thing and watch how it comes back in a rewarding way.
!!!!
nah this is crazy, I would have never expected this! love reacting with you man!

The song is for Army ,J Hope is about to enlist in the military as all men in Korea have to. He was a street dancer before BTS and he’s going back to his roots when he would dance to J Coles songs. J Hope has great respect for J. Cole all BTS members do.
Here my take on what I think the StopSign and One Way Sign mean to me!!
JHope career is coming to a Stop 🛑 There’s only One Way to Go Military
We need your thoughts on Jcole’s verse. Please nerd out for us!
are you going to watch suchwita some time? i hope we’ll see j-hope on it before he enlists 🍻
I knew when the pics come out this collab was not gonna disappoint. I never really dived into cole like that (Ik sad) but I know he type of vibe from the few songs I do listen to and This is the exact vibe I was expecting from them both.
Idk but for Hobbie I felt a slight linger of something I don’t want to say missing but I wanted some sort of a switch I guess.. idk I can’t explain it 😂 but J baby still did good.
Cole shined..I mean it’s j cole. He brought that feeling in his verse that I was felt I needed more from Hobbie. Like just based of 1st listen rn I would only listen from coles verse. The hook was decent. Catchy but wasn’t feelin it. And I actually am glad they didn’t try to add in shots of Hobbie dancing. That quick clip they did have wasn’t really needed. This song is t that vibe for him to turnt up like that 😂 but overall wasn’t disappointed.
What do you think of the Stop Sign and One Way Sign
There is so much correlation betwwen the 2 of them first Hobi said J (both J) in the air (Cole already on top in the rooftop (Hobi's childhood Idol) when Hobi iis moving during the whole MV from the little kid he was to reach the top like his idol. And at the end he's right there full circle. Hope talk about faith and his name is also Hope and Cole talk about faith (that guy smart as F... But stupid as hell who doesn't believe "doesn't have faith" because he can't see. Cole say he doesn't know anything else doesn't have a different hobbi, Hobi had said he doesn't know anything else (would he had been a different Hobi?)The sign "it's my call" (calling) worldplay with Cole but also it was Hobi's'calling (his Mama sacrifice everything for his calling) . Of course Cole rap about the tribulation he went through (so do J-Hope) just to survive and both came up on top of it. Jack in the box wants more is not done yet and in this song he said he is still ( still there but still cause for a moment he will be still for the military wordplay) Cole said the more he eat the more he get stronger so he's not done yet. Cole talk about the child you help grow and you have to let him go. We see Hobi letting go of his past self (putting to rest " the memorial site" in the street MV) for this new chapter. And finally they were both looking in the teaser at their "Future". I'm sure there is more like him Hobi going the opposite sign of the exit , the stop sign etc....
