Namjoon decided to change his name. Rap Monster represents his past, a person who was more concerned in become a great rapper... RM it's the name that suits him now. It's stands for "Real Me", a new and better version of himself, with another worries and priorities. Sorry again for any error, i don't speak english.
Even if Rap Monster is his past doesn’t mean it’s bad cuz wanting to be a rapper was part of his dream and he still raps like a monster on the beat so I don’t see it as a bad thing. Ofc he’s RM but he will always be a rap monster as well ❤️✨ you can never forget your past
Suga want through a lot. His parents didn't support his love for music, so he was kinda on his own for a while. He tried to sell his music but would get scammed and didn't get paid for it. He once said that in order to pay for his sound/production equipment so he could make music, he would walk everywhere and eat minimally. If he took the bus, he wouldn't be able to afford a $2 meal. Even once he was a trainee at BigHit, he had to keep working a part time job to survive and live with the others in a single space (they all had to sleep in the same room). His part time job was delivery, but he got hit by a car while riding his bike and broke his shoulder, and he didn't tell anyone because he couldn't afford to go to the hospital but he didn't want BigHit to fire him. He ended up going through 3 years of intense training with a broken shoulder and it resulted in some permanent damage that makes it hard for him to do some of the moves. He suffered so much physically and emotionally to get where he is today. I'm so proud of him though.
He dislocated it, he didn’t break it. And before anyone says im minimizing it- I have EDS and dislocate joints every day. It’s painful as fuck, miserable in fact, and I’ve had many surgeries to correct torn ligaments with cadaver tissues, and I’m on a ton of medications for it. But still, dislocations are different from fractures and I feel like I needed to make that distinction for anyone that reads this thread.

jhope used to be a dancer and only started rapping once he joined bts, and was taught how to rap by suga. he was originally supposed to be a vocalist and dancer, but switched to rap and dancer because v wanted to do vocal and he's a good hyung.
suga really came all the way from the bottom to the top he used to sell his mixtapes in the streets for $10 so he could make money, or sometimes he didnt eat just so he could take the bus and go to work. His parents also werent supportive. suga really deserves everything he has because he worked for it, so do all the other 6 members.
"They say some of these kids can't make it Cause their agency is too small, I know, I know, I know too, Time when the seven of us had to sleep in one room, With foolish hope that tomorrow will be different before we fell asleep" - Suga in Sea This shows their struggles and how everyday they wished to become bigger and tried a little harder every single day and now look they have became world wide idol will millions and millions of fans They went from one room to each member having there own dorm They went from 300 fans to 40 million and counting They went from small fan signing with not many people coming to have 4 sold out concert in las Vegas They came from a small agency not knowing if they were even going to have a debut to becoming amazing idols will millions of fans. These are the times I look back at the lyrics in the song "Sea" and see BTS growth throughout their years and see how much they have influenced millions of people every single day.
hoseok has always been a dancer, but he never stopped being a rapper. he’s the main dancer, sub-vocalist, and lead rapper. he doesn’t usually sing in any songs, and if he does than he’s a backup vocalist.
I love Cypher 2, and I still go crazy for RM’s part. I remember the first time I heard it, my mouth dropped open and I couldn’t process. And I STILL can’t get over him making the “nom” eating sound in the line after saying he’d chew dude up like bubblegum. Mind...blown.
Y'all should do- RM- JOKE (his wordplay) /then his MONO album Jhope- Daydream /baseline/CNS Suga- AGUSTD/the last There is always a difference between the rapline. Their styles are completely different. It's not on who did better ,it's more like "damn u saw how different their techniques are?" Like suga went in with the speed and savageness. Rm went with speed but more lyrical cuz from the rapline namjoon has the best wordplay and he played with language to his advantage, and jhope's energy and being the hypeman for the three how he begins in and goes crazy and his flow. I personally feel like all are talented rappers. But they all do possess certain traits OVER the others. Suga is his known rawness/blunt lyrics and speed. U should definitely react to Agust d to see how strong he is and see THE LAST to see his rawness,so good I love them. Rm is main rapper so he is credited for having the clearest speech when rapping, rapping to complicated beats, unique flow, rm has speed he just doesn't prioritize it, and his key trait- his wordplay is more mind boggling, it can be raw but also cryptic too. Now jhope is the newest to rap but the boy doesn't falter. Jhope like the others can be aggressive but his natural style is more energetic, he has this spunkiness to him that the others don't have. I also love his tone and his flow ,it's pleasing to hear. These are traits they all share mind u, but I'm mentioning what they are credited for the most and bring to the rapline as their specialty. Don't compare who did best on a track, compare how different their techniques were instead
Suga's part in Triptych is my fav part of any Cypher, and between the windows error noise and the "he was still gOing?!?!" voice crack, I couldn't be happier with your reactions to it

Suga started out as an underground rapper and always had more of a hip hop mindset. In earlier tracks like the cyphers and his Agust D album his lyrics talk about his struggles and how hard his life was. RM also started out as an underground rapper. They both had to deal with hip hop artists talk trash about K-pop rappers and say that their rap isn't on the same level, and that Suga and RM are sell-outs. That's why a lot of Suga and RM's lyrics are dissing other rappers.
Impressed? 10 out of 10? Now watch their cypher medley live. It’ll be a 100 out of 10. You won’t be appreciating and bobbing your head to their music, you’ll be banging your head and participating with their music. Their stage presence and swagger is better than you could imagine.
His dad had me dead.. this video was a good start to my morning! You all should react to the Cypher Medley Live Version. I personally like that better because you can really see how good they are at captivating their audience.

My mans Voice Cracked “He was stiill gOing’ 😭
10:59 “he was still GoINg”
Cypher 3 also my my fav.
Ok but yall should look at the interview where Suga did the faster part of his rap from cypher pt 2 twice as fast. Its insane
I just love how they appeal to so many different genre specific lovers.
Also, I did not listen to rap or hip hop until BTS. They opened a whole new world to me
Ddaeng is the best diss track they’ve ever done. You guys should react to that one next.
Ok Jhope Suga Rm definitely killed it can tell reading lyrics felt hype aggressive growl tension one of them like Underdogs
For me:
Rm for the word plays🔥
Suga for the savageness🔥

Sometimes I pause on Suga’s verse so he can breathe.
