J-Hope was a street dancer, and was a member of an underground dance group called Neuron. He has a documentary series and OST album about his journey. He learned from RM and SUGA, and developed his own style. Cypher 3 was released on August 20, 2014 (album Dark and Wild). SUGA's saying his rap is going to turn on men and women "Tongue Technology". Their English song (Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance). That's it. All the rest of their songs are in Korean or Japanese. They still rap just the same, they just expanded their skills and genre's. BTS are not afraid to experiment with new sounds, and they are known to cross and fuse different genres of music. *The line in J-Hope's verse* - (sounds like Pee pee. and isn't what you think) 모든 언니s call me 삐삐 *(bbibbi)* All the girls call me, beeper 삐삐 (bbibbi) is a pager/beeper, so it could be (1) “all the girls, call me, page me.” Or, since bbi- is commonly used as an onomatopoeia of censoring sounds, it could also be (2) “all the girls call me ‘XX’,” where XX is some unknown word. Rm is the leader yes also hes got an album that came out that he expresses his frustration with being a leader of bts and what comes with it and so much more.
I’ve not seen anyone mention this but Supreme Boi who makes appearance across the Cyphers vocally as well as producing them was originally supposed to be a member of the group when the concept was still that of Rap focus, however he became an in house producer for the label and due to the time they already all spent together training and on the same underground scene they’re all still friends which is why Supreme came out on the cyphers
You should probably check out BTS’ song called “HIP HOP PHILE” or “HIP HOP LOVER”. They did kinda like a tribute to all the rappers that inspired them. YOU WILL LOVE IT! Pay attention to the lyrics!!!!
BTS rap line is top tier in great part because they are “the real deal”. They aren’t merely “performing” hip hop/rap learned as part of their idol training to cover a rapper role in the group (as is the norm in K-pop, that’s why you hear that V & JK rapped in earlier songs), they have been passionate about it since very young and write their own verses. RM started writing & rapping in the underground scene at 11yrs old and was well known, Suga at 13 (and around 16 he was working part time as a producer) and Jhope learned to rap/write as a trainee but was street dancing to hip hop since 10yrs old and winning national championships by 14. On top of that they got the unusual chance to get an intense “hip hop boot camp” in the US by participating in a reality tv show with mentors like Coolio & Warren G. By doing that they got a better understanding and a deeper respect for hip hop culture and essence.
OMGG FINALLY I BEEN WAITING OMGGGGGGG LMAO WHEN YOU SAID IF RAPPERS HAVE HIGH IQ THATS WHY THEY CAN RAP FAST RM ACTUALY HAS A IQ OF 148 WHICH IS REALLY HIGH (btw when yu pointed out suga's army bar cypher 1 came out yearss ago and he didnt have to go the army as yet.)
Suga/AgustD had a shoulder injury that prevented military service. He insted is doing a longer Civil Service enlistment. See Amygadala re his motorcycle accident.
You have to listen to RM's new album: "Right Place, Wrong Person, ", Agust=D (SUGA): D- Day, and J-Hope: "Jack in the Box. Each album is fabulous and that's just a start.
You reacted to SUGA's shade. He came from the underground rap scene. He received a lot of hate and shade from other rappers when he joined BTS. Even worse, some of them were his heroes. He has an insane work ethic. He produces most of the BTS output. He has received an award as a producer for other artists. He writes all of his own bars, thus comments about pen and pad. He wasn't an idol that was a company puppet. He and his BTS brothers worked together to become the biggest group in the world. They did it despite their haters. They did it with a small independent company that was fighting bankruptcy. They did it with, "The Big 3," the dominant KPop companies at the time, controlling all production, television exposure, charting, mainstream media, and social media. They went around and through all obstacles. They started interacting directly with their fans on livestreams. They used their own livestream platform. They created their own variety show, documentaries, etc. Their fanbase ARMY soldout every item that was connected to them for branding power. They rap, sing, dance, and their live concerts are two to three hours long. They've become multimillionaires. In those early Cypher releases, they had not hit the mainstream global phenomenon yet. That wasn't until 2018 and cemented with their connection with International Army In 2020 during the lockdowns. Believe us when we say that SUGA had every right to lash out and destroy his haters. In fact, most of believe that he could have gone far further and held back. I have true LOL moments whenever I revisit the Cypher tracks because the haters had it coming. 😂
They've only got 3 songs in English, and they were only done to perk peeps up during the pandemic. Their Korean tracks give me life. Their rap is freaking fire and they are 100% so much than a boyband. Hope you enjoy some of their other stuff.✌️💜
suga came in second in a rap battle contest thrown by big hit entertainments. and was signed on initially as a music producer. then eventually suga was convinced to join a hip hop group bts and was told to focus on rapping and making music and that he wouldnt have to dance. but they lied about not dancing
I am OT7 cause each one of them is as talented as the other 6 but this Rap line holds a special place. You should watch the Cypher medley. It is fire live!
BTS rapline will always be the best specially Kim namjoon he has something different ( im not good at explaining it) that I could say he is above all Kpop rappers.thete are many good Kpop rappers ik but namjoon hits different
Since you’re a rap and hip hop fan, I’ll suggest a few rapline songs. 1. Mic Drop MV 2. UGH live with eng subs 3. Ddaeng live with eng subs 4. Tear Live with eng. Subs 4. Attack on Bangtan live eng subs 5. Dope MV 6. Groin MV - RM 7. Daechwita MV - Agust D/ Suga 8. Haegum MV - AgustD/ Suga 9. More MV - J Hope 10. Neuron MV - J Hope 11. Wildflower MV - RM I hope you have fun with BTS. There are many other songs to check out! A few songs from the above list require explanations. Such as RMs verse in Dope, as for Ugh and Ddaeng I suggest the DKDKTV explanation video. It’s pretty good! And yea it’s necessary especially for non Koreans.
If you watch the entertaining TAYLOR MARI GUIDE TO THE BANGTAN 7 you can see the clip of where RM and Suga got called girls for wearing make up and told they could not consider themselves rappers now they were idols, by the underground rappers who used to respect them as colleagues. There were many interviews and attacks on them by the underground rappers they used to consider friends. It gave us alot of great songs by an angry RM and Suga.
From most recent RM solo album RPWP. Tracks NUTS, GROIN DOMODACHI. Try Agust D aka Suga DAECHWITA the flow changes in that will blow your mind. Not to mention the oriental trap beat. Suga auditioned to be a rapper producer BANG SI HYUK had to really persuade Suga to join BTS.
As you've enjoyed the Cyphers, I recommend the following: RM solo: Joke (a masterpiece), Do You, Groin Suga solo: Agust D, Daechwita, Haegeum, Huh?! (ft j-hope) (note: Suga goes by Agust D for his solo work; which is SUGA spelled backwards & DT for Daegu Town where he's from.) j-hope solo: Arson, More, Daydream (vintage vibe), Neuron BTS (group): UGH!, Outro: Tear, Ddaeng
Taehyung (V)was the one who went with his friend who was auditioning and they asked Taehyung if he wanted to try out and although that’s not what he was there for he said ok i guess. Then a few weeks later he got a phone call and found out he was the only one from that large group that auditioned who made it to the next step as a trainee for a new group called BTS. Talk about fate!!
Along w the live medley mentioned, if you haven’t reacted to Daechwita and Haegum by AgustD (Suga) I think you’ll love it. Also cuts from JHope’s Jack in the Box! (And so much else for BTS’ and solos “real” music but don’t want to spam your comments 😅)
SUGA always new he was trying out for BTS. It was V (Kim Taehyung) that went to an audition to support his friend and didn't know he was going to try out. And JIN was approached on the street and recruited. So either of them you could say didn't know they would be trying out. With any artist, their title tracks should draw you in, but the B sides are what make you a dedicated fan. So all artists should have good B sides. And they never stopped doing the hard rap. You need to check out their solo stuff and their latest concert and songs. UGH! was in 2020, and RUN BTS was 2022. And they still perform their hard hitting songs from earlier. They are always going to stay true to their core, which is HIp Hop and R&B.
Okay, so for the rap freak in, you listen to RM's new album, Right Place, Wrong Person. There are 5 videos and a live performance video. Agust D aka Suga Daechwita, Haegum, and Amygdala in that order. JHope On The Street with JCole. Arson and More will blow your mind. For your R&B, listen to V's Stimga. And BTS Black Swan(one of my faves) And then to see them as a group dance their asses off ON Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima. Trust me on this one. 😘💜🫰🏻🫶🏻
Suga/Agust D is definitely my favorite of the group but i genuinely like all of them❤ They each have solo's i love and listen too and they have given me so much energy with their music, to lift me up in my tiring work day for the last 7 or 8 yrs now! Your reaction cracks me up because my hands did the same as yours when following the flow and beat when i 1st heard these cyphers years ago haha
They have so many different kinds of music. You can find things to love. I think you'd like Black Swan. It's a balance of rap and singing, deep lyrics - they have something to say. Rap line all have a lot of solo work! You could spend a year just digging into their stuff 🤣
Yes they also have Ddaeng and Tear. You should watch their cyphers medley live. It goes hard! And the Ddaeng and Tear live performances. And after that the explanations on DKDKTV. This guy is Korean and he explains in English all of the Korean word plays and things that people from other countries or who don't speak Korean, wouldn't understand. Also you should hack out their solo albums. 6 of them have solo albums already and Jin is hopefully working on his now that he is out of the military. Jin has the song "the astronaut", which he released with a mv, before going in the military. He performed it after his military discharge in a performance he had for Army on BTS 11th Anniversary on June 13. The rap line latest albums are for JHope Jack in the box and hope on the street, Suga; D-2 and D Day, and RM; Indigo and Right place wrong person. RM also has 2 mistapes; RM and Mono. JHope;Hope World. I forgot if Suga has mixtapes. Army can help me out. Sorry for the essay. It's an Army thing. Lmao😂🤣😂✌️Also you should react to the group stuff. Their choreos are crazy!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yoongi / Suga didn't accidentally try out per say but orignally BTS was supposed to be a ONLY rap/hip hop group and he got tricked into being in the group despite them dancing / doing pop and when he got signed he was signed to be only a producer, which is where Yoongi/Suga shines as well.
They all have solo albums Jhope and RM actually released new albums this year (RM was no1 on rap albums billboard) and so did the other members except Jin and suga (his album is from last year and it’s crazy good)
Actually their cyphers were made for all the haters that came after them during the early years. Please if you haven't all ready start from the beginning. watch A GUIDE TO BTS by Taylor Mari you will learn a lot about their humble beginnings. If you continue on this BTS journey I wish you well and pray that you open your eyes and ears and heart to an amazing group.
The best advice I could give you about reacting to BTS if you really want to understand them through their music and lyrics and understand the journey, is to check out their full albums starting from the beginning. Now is the best time to try to get caught up on 10 years worth of work they have put out as the 1st member has already returned from the military and the second one will be in October. The other four have slightly less than a year to go.
*Suga auditioned to be a Producer, but PD BANG talked him into being a part of the Group.* He and RM (aka "Rap Monster") were both underground rappers prior to BTS. (And again I mention: RM is the LEADER of BTS...AND he wrote the lyrics for the first few albums, but Suga and j-Hope wrote THEIR verses... and btw SUGA = Shooting Guard and a Brand Ambassador for the NBA) #aRMyLOVE💙💕 #YetToComePROOF #TAKETWO #INDIGO #RM_SOMETHING💕💙 #CLOSER💕 #SEXYNUKIM #RIGHTPLACEWRONGPERSONandHeavenandComeBackToMeandLostandGroinandNuts💞💙 #BOTTEGAVENETA #D_DAYandVALENTINOandNBAandSAMSUNG #JACKINTHEBOXandHOTSvol1andOnTheStreetandLOUISVUITTON #JINNYsKITCHENandCELINEandSlowDancingLAYOVER! #TheASTRONAUTandJINRAMENandCARTIER #DREAMERSandCALVINKLEINandSEVEN #FACEandMUSEandDIORandTIFFANY&CO #BTSPavedTheWay!
Please react to BTS Cypher Medley (ft Supreme Boi) live in Seoul 2017. Their live stage performances are insane. They are known for their energy and synergy for their live performances. One that I cried to the first time I heard it is Outre Tear Live at Wembley (with eng subs). It's about when they were having a hard time and were thinking about disbanding. It's a very emotional performance. My bias is Suga aka Agust D. I love his MV's Agust D "Agust D" and the trilogy. I am 70 yr old ARMY that loves rap because of BTS. It's now my favorite genre. There are lots of senior ARMY's that I correspond with that love rap because of BTS rap line. 😊
The cyphers were written about their haters and the underground Korean rappers who had dissed them for becoming idols. They weren’t directed at all rappers and much less to the already established rappers when these were written.💜
All three of them have their own physical albums and also they have mixtapes (digital albums)…RM and JHope have two albums and Yoongi has one physical albums. You should check them out. These three guys are so talented: they write, produce and perform their own songs. Btw, I am waiting for the rap line these kind of songs and performances after their military service so so so much 🥹😭
I'd love to see you do "Hip Hop Lover"! SUCH an underrated song. Preferably one of the live performances with the English subtitles on screen. They list a LOT of their own idols - Korean and American rappers. I used to have a list somewhere, but over the years, I've lost it. I have to go through it again some day soon. I think they named...30?...total, maybe more? I love it, but it goes too fast to write them all down, so I have to use a lyric video to catch them all, even if I have heard the song a million times. LOL
Thank you so much for reacting to the BTS Rapline! Love all 7 of them (I’m OT7) but I the Rapline & Jin are my biases. I guess that’s called Hyung line because Jin & Rapline are the older half of BTS. Rapline is really cool!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Well, now I recommend you watch the live version. There is a video with a medley of the first three cyphers and the whole fourth. Ah! They weren't spitting against every rapper but those who spread hate over them. I'm 66 and simply love their raps! Yeah, they started as a hip hop group and then changed to all genres inclusive 😂if you want to see all of them rapping, watch Ddang ot7 😅 You can watch. BTS Festa Room, there you can taste other genres.

They still rap just the same, they just expanded their skills and genre's. BTS are not afraid to experiment with new sounds, and they are known to cross and fuse different genres of music.
*The line in J-Hope's verse* - (sounds like Pee pee. and isn't what you think)
모든 언니s call me 삐삐 *(bbibbi)*
All the girls call me, beeper
삐삐 (bbibbi) is a pager/beeper, so it could be (1) “all the girls, call me, page me.” Or, since bbi- is commonly used as an onomatopoeia of censoring sounds, it could also be (2) “all the girls call me ‘XX’,” where XX is some unknown word.
Cypher 4 was released October 10 2016 (album Wings). - RM's verse when he says "Sorry, Bae" the term Bae means Sunbae, which means Senior, or artists that came before them. They were really hating on them, since pre-debut. Now that you've checked it out, there is a Cypher Medley. Each member does one verse from Cyphers 1 thru 3, and then they complete the performance with Cypher 4, the complete performance. It's amazing.
*Please react to it, and turn on the Cc's.*
BTS Rap Line - Cypher Medley (feat. Supreme Boi) performed Live w/Eng. Subs - ruclips.net/video/FT930XF1vzA/видео.html
BTS rapline is the best in the industry. No other grp can do it like them. Even their vocal line is the best. Thats what make them BTS💜⁷
Rm is the leader yes also hes got an album that came out that he expresses his frustration with being a leader of bts and what comes with it and so much more.
now you need to react to ugh and cypher pt3 live at busan 2022 concert, the energy is amazing 🔥🔥
omg yes pleasee
YESSS highly recommend 💜🔥
Dont forget to 😊check out for Cypher medley 2017 too
YES THE CYPHER PT3 IN THE YET TO COME CONCERT IS BETTER THAN THE MEDLEY 😭😭😭 THE LIVE BAND WITH THAT AMAZING GUITAR , IT'S JUST THE BEST!!!!
you forgot ddaeng
And the tv reality series with Warren G and Coolio from 2014 where they learned about LA hip hop culture. RM did a song with Warren G.
You have to check out their other one ddaeng it’s not part of the cyphers tho
Yes they are in military however Jin the oldest of BTS finished his military service and held a Hug fest and hugged 1, 000 fans one at a time.
@@maryhduke2307 I'm talking about back then when the song was released, not now btw, i know this already.
I love JHope's rap just as much as the other two! He has so much duality and stage presents too
They have one of the best rap line in the industry ❤
Suga knew what the assignment was
You have to listen to RM's new album: "Right Place, Wrong Person, ", Agust=D (SUGA): D- Day, and J-Hope: "Jack in the Box. Each album is fabulous and that's just a start.
IM SO GLAD YOU REGOZINED THE "IF IM THE SUN YOURE THE MOON" LINE. Thank you!!! Nobody ever acknowledges it.
Yes, when Suga auditioned he was only 18 years old.
He came second, but got the offer in the night before the final round.
They all rapped on We Are Bulletproof Pt.2 and in one of the cyphers J-hope mentions his song "1Verse" where he sampled "El Chapo"
NO MORE DREAM their debut song is a good start for rapper JK and then DDAENG VOCAL LINE he covers RMs verse and his cadence is on point.
RM has asong with WALE called 'change' it's 🔥
Pippi is the sound of a pager. It kinda means like "beep beep" does in English. It basically his way of girls call him nonstop.
Yes they all are in the military but Jin got discharged from the military yesterday on the 12th for us.
1. Mic Drop MV
2. UGH live with eng subs
3. Ddaeng live with eng subs
4. Tear Live with eng. Subs
4. Attack on Bangtan live eng subs
5. Dope MV
6. Groin MV - RM
7. Daechwita MV - Agust D/ Suga
8. Haegum MV - AgustD/ Suga
9. More MV - J Hope
10. Neuron MV - J Hope
11. Wildflower MV - RM
I hope you have fun with BTS.
These cyphers were released 2013, 2014, 2016….they were sooo young then 🤭
"I assume RM is the leader"
Rm one sec later: "Rah-rah-rah-right"
Subscribed because this was a *chefs kiss* reaction. And I like your editing (although some meme was a bit repeptive) but I still really liked it
😂😂 thanks, yeah when I was editing I was like “I’m kinda using this meme hella but fuck it”
From most recent RM solo album RPWP.
AgustD Trilogy: Daewachita, Haegeum, Amygadala. Dkdktv explaination video is a must watch to learn Daewachita's Korean cultural references.
As you've enjoyed the Cyphers, I recommend the following:
RM solo: Joke (a masterpiece), Do You, Groin
Suga solo: Agust D, Daechwita, Haegeum, Huh?! (ft j-hope)
(note: Suga goes by Agust D for his solo work; which is SUGA spelled backwards & DT for Daegu Town where he's from.)
j-hope solo: Arson, More, Daydream (vintage vibe), Neuron
BTS (group): UGH!, Outro: Tear, Ddaeng
Bro ,just wondering if you could react to live cyphers medley 2017 in Seoul thanks and by the way I enjoyed you’re reaction
I gotchu! (Might be a patreon thing tho since it’s live) also ty !!
@@tkdotoomuchthe medley tho is actually safe to react to on RUclips Army knows we would let you know whats safe and what isn't trust us we gotcha
Just use the channel Enjoy BTS More & you should be fine.
Bet
Taehyung (V)was the one who went with his friend who was auditioning and they asked Taehyung if he wanted to try out and although that’s not what he was there for he said ok i guess. Then a few weeks later he got a phone call and found out he was the only one from that large group that auditioned who made it to the next step as a trainee for a new group called BTS. Talk about fate!!
rapline are dope especially SUGA!!!
You should have reacted to Cypher Medley which a live of Cypher 1,2,3,4
RM rap with his mind that kills you!
Jhope rap with his swag that kills you!
Suga just plain kills you!
Cypher pt1 1:28
Cypher pt2 5:38
Cypher pt3 14:50
Cypher pt4 21:04
Your welcome!
Outro:tears NEXT PLS!!
And BTS Black Swan(one of my faves)
And then to see them as a group dance their asses off ON Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima.
RM, Jhope and Suga are in the top 5 rappers in SK....and they all happen to be BTS rap line
That's V. He's the R&B/jazz singer that went with a friend to support him. They asked him and he tried out and made it.
Did anyone else notice the small detail at 5:23? It’s so cool!
They all have solo albums
Jhope and RM actually released new albums this year (RM was no1 on rap albums billboard) and so did the other members except Jin and suga (his album is from last year and it’s crazy good)
Actually their cyphers were made for all the haters that came after them during the early years.
(And again I mention: RM is the LEADER of BTS...AND he wrote the lyrics for the first few albums, but Suga and j-Hope wrote THEIR verses... and btw SUGA = Shooting Guard and a Brand Ambassador for the NBA)

Yes RM is the leader
The best rappers in kpop
(I would hate to have been B FREE) lol funny enough he's never heard from again lmao 💜💜
I think he's out of jail at this point and that's the best anyone can say
Let's go cyphers!! I'm not even a rap fan but I love some bts rap!
Did he say he can't do peace love and positivity???!!! I'm dead right now!!!! Dwlol
Songs that be sounding all sunshine and rainbows be givin my body the ick idk why 😭
I look forward to the day you find yourself loving Mikrocosmos or Magic Shop 😁
I mean maybe you won't, but the sincerity gets to most of us 💜
Cypher 3 is my favorite cypher. If you want to hear Suga later in the BTS timeline, listen to Snooze. Great rap song.
The cyphers were written about their haters and the underground Korean rappers who had dissed them for becoming idols. They weren’t directed at all rappers and much less to the already established rappers when these were written.💜
Cypher 4 is a fucking vibe. J~FLOW 🔥
You need to react bts rap line (tear)
Super fun seeing you enjoy these, super fun cute reaction, nice close up of the chair wheel lol
You can check all their solo projects actually ❤ I’m happy you like the music
you don't need to understand it as long as you feel it
All three of them have their own physical albums and also they have mixtapes (digital albums)…RM and JHope have two albums and Yoongi has one physical albums. You should check them out. These three guys are so talented: they write, produce and perform their own songs. Btw, I am waiting for the rap line these kind of songs and performances after their military service so so so much 🥹😭
Please add "hip hop phile" to your list. They rap about their hip hop influences growing up
13:16 If Kendrick is the biggest hater, Suga is the second biggest hater.
O love your reaction, try to look for "Ddeang" rap line stage version. And also look for AgustD (Suga) RM and JHope solo jobs.... You'll love them.
Pt. 2 and 4 are my faaaves
Cypher pt.3: Killer is superior! I like all cyphers in different ways but 3 is on multiple playlists of mine.
J Hope has 3 albums Hope world, Jack In the Box and Hope on the street Vol1
listen to their other songs like rain, hip hop lover and if i ruled the world
You should check out RM, Suga and Juice Wrld, All Night
His editing skillsssss
2:18 20:41 20:50 27:34 😂 28:06 try RM's Joke, Suga's Agust D 29:06
I'd love to see you do "Hip Hop Lover"! SUCH an underrated song.
Preferably one of the live performances with the English subtitles on screen.
They list a LOT of their own idols - Korean and American rappers.
I used to have a list somewhere, but over the years, I've lost it. I have to go through it again some day soon. I think they named...30?...total, maybe more?
I love it, but it goes too fast to write them all down, so I have to use a lyric video to catch them all, even if I have heard the song a million times. LOL
i cant wait for you to check out “attack on bangtan” and “jump!” both of those go hella hard and you’d be hella surprised by the vocal line
Watch the live cyphers!!!!
bro we need another cypher so bad.
Thank you so much for reacting to the BTS Rapline! Love all 7 of them (I’m OT7) but I the Rapline & Jin are my biases. I guess that’s called Hyung line because Jin & Rapline are the older half of BTS. Rapline is really cool!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
My fave is pt 2
I'm glad you said that was a lie cause 1. BTS loves a lot of rappers 2. I'm huge Kendrick fan.
For the record I mostly love "old school rappers" cause I'm old, but I love Kendrick.
Lol you should check out joke by RM.
Well, now I recommend you watch the live version. There is a video with a medley of the first three cyphers and the whole fourth.
Ah! They weren't spitting against every rapper but those who spread hate over them.
I'm 66 and simply love their raps!
Yeah, they started as a hip hop group and then changed to all genres inclusive 😂if you want to see all of them rapping, watch Ddang ot7 😅
You can watch. BTS Festa Room, there you can taste other genres.
You know the beats good when you start freestyling 😭😭
adlibs going crazy xd
