Here I might push back a bit by saying that firstly most people would find it uncontroversial to restrict someone who attacks people or creates discomfort for them or violates the rights of children or otherwise. What this means is that there is always going to be some justification for some control over people's behaviour but the question is merely how much. It's also worthwhile to note that the people here in this context aren't actually authorities. They are random civilians who have come out thinking that they should be able to criticise anyone and under any circumstances. They are not authorities. They are random people who want to bring down authority which is the real problem at the end of the day. It's true that authorities shouldn't have a complete control over people and citizens should hold them to that but it is also unreasonable for citizens to insist that they can bring down authority at any given moment simply because they see what they perceive to be failing and then try to bring down the house without actually checking becoming popular and then bringing mob rule into play rather than actually fair adjudication.
I'm not against Christmas as it is a celebration for the Christians. For your information Muslims among themselves cannot celebrate X'mas or even wish other Muslims "A Merry Christmas" but they can wish the Christians that. No problem. Among themselves NO WAY!
Christmas is for everyone.People cannot condemn people who celebrate christmas. If you condemn then muslims cannot visit and eat with peoples of other faiths during chinese new year or deepavali or other faiths celebrations.
Islam is very respectful of other religions and their followers, including their beliefs about Christmas. However, as Muslims, we believe in the concept of absolute monotheism, which is that God is One, begets and is not begotten. Christmas, although it appears as a cultural celebration, is actually closely related to the Christian belief in the divinity of Jesus (the Prophet Jesus), which is contrary to the Islamic creed. Therefore, we do not celebrate Christmas because it can give our faith and affect the Islamic identity, but at the same time we still respect those who celebrate it

Isaiah 9:6 : For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Almighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. This is Christmas, the Son of God come to taken away sins of the World, John 1:29.
Surah Maryam (19:30-35): "[Jesus] said, 'Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive. And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive.' That is Jesus, the son of Mary-the word of truth about which they are in dispute. It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is."
i once had a malay muslim friend , told me about "boomoh believer you should beware of in Malay community" , because seeing me do something innocent to something, looks like it might be, lah. this people who play boomoh (Malay's voodoo) usually will gift it to the next generation, someone should keep it as pet (worst than animal pet dog that quran refers to , because this demon is pure from satan , these angels of God won't enter house). this people who play boomoh usually will not die , the lived very long age, because the owner unable to cursed the other generation, basically need new owner to passed on, then only you can die like regular human does. so , this guy come to my mind, and i mentioned his name. My friend laughed out loud , "maybe ?...his children and later on his granddaughter had trust issues with him, who knows ?.... ahh betul cakap awak, got something"

Is not fine. What is brewing is a “cold community conflict” that haven’t reach the social unrest level. And is regrettable minorities in Malaysia can’t have civil right movement and neither can atheist/agnostic congregate nor organize.
Actually it has to be all of us. The Malays alone are not enough. There needs to be a genuine unity that comes from transcending differences and not being too calculative about what is different between us, although realistically it would just be an understanding that look, we want the future to be better than the past in several specific areas such as economy, diversity, national reputation, and strength, and we need to be clear that political manipulation and religious manipulation cannot be on the table. The fears that the Malays have need to be better assuaged and managed, and people have to become genuinely better friends with their Malay brothers and sisters. That is the pathway going forward - we cannot be caught constantly in this I FIGHT YOU YOU FIGHT ME nonsense.
@@VictorTantoo idealistic VT. Something has got to give. Only solution is to remove race and religion from government and all public institutions, reintroduce meritocracy from school right to retirement, fine-tune social security and allow economy to flourish.
Hmmmm. I hear you but suggesting that 15 year old, personalities with bad record shouldn't say anything might also be a form of gaslighting? It's 2025 and now anyone can say anything. And maybe we just have to live with that. What we should do is engage these influencers and their supporters on their turf. Let's pursue truth and believe it will ultimately win.
Ah yes, thanks Adrian - you caught upon the nuance that I observed, which is that perhaps the authorities shouldn't do anything and that, at the end of the day, it is only civil society and ‘the marketplace of ideas’ that should do anything. (But is that certain?) In a way, we are then in alignment. I do think that people in our society should develop a requisite awareness of the deceptions that people want to bring upon them and that they perpetuate over and over again. Just because these narratives are popular, the emotions of supporters compel them to do so; they do not read, they do not check, they do not decide upon what may actually be the better options - measures of expression of emotion (number of likes and shares) become barometers of truth. You could say that people know themselves best certainly and always, but anyone who has ever graded exams would know that such a statement is only of limited truth and that if we look at any number of objective metrics, there we can see that the students of our world and in Malaysia, and by extension the adults who had risen amongst them, may not be able to evaluate matters correctly even as the resonance of emotional truth calls out amidst the corroborating evidence that many Malaysians barely read anything except the headlines of articles, and there we are, standing in the eventuality of things only as evidence of plausibility and not objective truth. It's true that anyone can say anything, Adrian, but what does it mean when the people have such a low level of critical thinking on average, that inevitably, because of the random accidental collisions of ideas and discussions, only the narratives that come from the lowest common denominator of our society and those that are most plausible, should win out? This is a call for that which reflects reasoning to become more popular. But also to consider that our authorities should look at evaluating speech that is nearly emotive or targeted at playing upon emotions, sifting it from what we deem as true in the interim (understand this is a potential problematic point but we can talk about it), and while people are still developing an inchoate awareness of how to become good participants in a democratic society. In other words, while I understand the spirit of what you are saying, reality is a different matter; less abstractly, it is definitively untrue that ‘anyone can say anything they want’ in 2025 - which in any case is untrue already restricted because of restrictions on incitement, defamation, true threats and otherwise, aimed at preventing danger at large. It is well that the U.S. even now has realised that freedom for the wolves has often meant death to the sheep, and wisely pays lip service to that freedom in respect of genuine democratic discourse in the public sphere and even healthily defends it at critical junctures through entities like the ACLU in the context of speech on public figures, but also regulates it as is expected in the context of capitalist enterprise and also on platforms for the equally valid purpose of maintaining societal harmony and order. Laws such as the Sedition Act aim to restrict danger and harmful speech (which I concede carries an overly broad meaning and can be abused, yes; that is why criticism has been meted against PH for not repealing it) and can be criticized for what people see as their authoritarian nature, yes, but already in Malaysia, we are seeing the dangers of allowing free speech to run wild, and how it allows dangerous individuals who facilitate slander and to question the Royal Institution maliciously to go wild. I think we can agree that questioning institutions purely on the basis of one's own morality or emotions in a fashion that can destroy them without any evidential basis is certainly something that this country should more narrowly prescribe, defining better conditions and a clear punishment and deterrence regime to ensure it is clear to society what can or cannot be done and what direction gravity acts in, and if people do not follow those rules, it is well that gravity should act.
If anybody is wondering why Muslims cannot celebrate other religion's celebrations, please go to the rightful authority and listen to their explaination. It will clear all the doubts.
What wrong with Christmas celebrations that there just have a great time during Christmas. Where is satu Malaysia?? It's all fake satu Malaysia! Malaya is too proud of there own, but not to others!!
Islam is very respectful of other religions and their followers, including their beliefs about Christmas. Christmas, although it appears as a cultural celebration, is actually closely related to the Christian belief in the divinity of Jesus (the Prophet Jesus), which is contrary to the Islamic creed. Wait, she is Mahathir's granddaughter? This is something. I have to be honest: No matter what wrong things Mahathir did in his past that to Malaysia's current situation, though the ONLY thing he did right in his life was making sure even the monarchy play the rules, some people like her granddaughter shouldn't even baring her grandfather's sins. Folks such as the ever infamous Agamaku Zealots (PAS) are the LAST folks to ever talk about morals because of their obsession about "agama ialah moral" thing is NEVER sihat for a country.
Yup! People shouldn’t be going after his granddaughter for a Christmas celebration and frankly neither should ANYONE else. This kind of tegur culture is seriously sickening and I know for a fact that it’s something that A LOT of Malaysians and friends have been sick of for years now and consider a legit reason to actually leave Malaysia. And I don’t mean Chinese or anyone else - this is specifically Malay friends… But it doesn’t mean I don’t see it or that I can’t understand it 😔

@@ChuanTeh I feel like Tun hangs on to this world and has lived to this age specifically because he wants to see the Malays succeed at scale and that is why he is hanging on to the world, and that is a reason as to why he remains in this world. When we spoke, he sounded pensive, regretful almost because he knew that his goal had not come true even though his family became very rich in the course of time. I might not be able to comment on that, but I can certainly comment on the fact that he very likely does believe what he said about the Malays being lazy even though he denied those ideas later on. That much I can definitely say for sure. Whatever it is, it is certainly also Tun M who wrote the famous Tunku Abdul Rahman poison pen letter and circulated it - A regrettable thing to do but I definitely think, based on every single thing that he said and everything I could read from actually interacting with him, that he genuinely feels that the Malays are weak and have to be protected and that he did what he did with that in mind. 😔

Extremist party like PAS is like that. Only they are right in every thing but others are wrong. Thats why people siad PAS are PARTI SESAT

Appreciate it! Thank you for the kind words bro! 🙏
I'm not against Christmas as it is a celebration for the Christians. For your information Muslims among themselves cannot celebrate X'mas or even wish other Muslims "A Merry Christmas" but they can wish the Christians that. No problem. Among themselves NO WAY!
Thanks for the sharing of your perspective!
Christmas is for everyone.People cannot condemn people who celebrate christmas. If you condemn then muslims cannot visit and eat with peoples of other faiths during chinese new year or deepavali or other faiths celebrations.
CNY ang pao also haram for them 😂😂😂
Islam is very respectful of other religions and their followers, including their beliefs about Christmas. Therefore, we do not celebrate Christmas because it can give our faith and affect the Islamic identity, but at the same time we still respect those who celebrate it
Well as ex CCP and Kuomintang supporter I agree to this behavior as I already had huge Social Credit
True or not that Mahathir very very rich becoming PM over the yrs?

Ah, thanks! I appreciate the heart emoji as well but just know that I don’t swing that way if that’s the message, and I might make a post about this at a later time.

Surah Maryam (19:30-35):
"[Jesus] said, 'Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is."
i once had a malay muslim friend , told me about "boomoh believer you should beware of in Malay community" , because seeing me do something innocent to something, looks like it might be, lah.
this people who play boomoh (Malay's voodoo) usually will gift it to the next generation, someone should keep it as pet (worst than animal pet dog that quran refers to , because this demon is pure from satan , these angels of God won't enter house).
this people who play boomoh usually will not die , the lived very long age, because the owner unable to cursed the other generation, basically need new owner to passed on, then only you can die like regular human does.
so ,
this guy come to my mind, and i mentioned his name.
My friend laughed out loud , "maybe ?...his children and later on his granddaughter had trust issues with him, who knows ?.... ahh betul cakap awak, got something"
My who worked in a Japanese firm was given a higher post with lucrative salary but you know what his malay friends did to him they were so jealous and made him become mad until his job was given to a malay this what are true Malays
I highly recommend that you add Chinese subtitles to your future videos. I'll ask my brothers and sisters to support you for sure...
A civilized and rational society needs outstanding people like you who dare to express anger and speak out our right.
Thank you so much! That’s very kind of you! Actually, in response to your request, I just put in Chinese and Malay subtitles for this video as well!
Just started thinking about how I need to start reaching more people at scale and I think that this is going to help with that a bit - thank you for the suggestion!
@@VictorTanyeah.. U need to add more other languages..
Guys Dont lah criticize the innocents kids Merry Christmas Happy New Year or Maybe Atok Sakau Birthday loh.The Pemimipin frm Pas Ulama Supreme and his Ustaz222 and henchmen wont say anything maybe thier Kids does the same in thier Homes Privately that God Knows or maybe dont Mah.
That’s interesting to think about. Shouldn’t PAS supporters have the right to know about the private lives of their leaders and the children of their leaders since people like drawing attention to even Tun M’s children?

He is hypocirte. Is he perfect himself. Is he GOD to judge others. When is he going to stop his bloody nonsense.Pls someone stop him causing disunity in the country. He is a real pain in the neck.
Here is a catch: Almost EVEYBODY knows what Mahathir did that cause problem to Malaysia. The question should how do people Hadi be ANYMORE different than the musang tua himself by doing the fitnah this and there no matter what?
I don't EVER recall any religions telling people to do mob justice?
was and still wondering about :. 1. why so many issues are on religion issue..?. 2. why so issues to improve muslim livellihood / welfare/economy..etc..?..... 3. Why always through political platform to voice out?...4. what has other religious ngo, persatuan, organisation has to commend.?. 5. who fight for further reform... not only to expose corruptors...BUT must fight for reform in the government admin controlling system ( govt should change)... Please commend to enlighten me..hope this is a good
OMG zero discipline on themselves. Perhaps the upbringing and the premier leadership is the main cause.
Why? They have the right to celebrate whatever they want.
It’s not really your business or the business of any Malaysians, yes? 😔
Many also blamed that Atok's family women don't wear the hijab!
Atok's wife wears a wig, as she doesn't have natural hair. A doctor told me! 😂🇲🇾
There is no cover head for women but cover face. Quran 24:31. Young girls cover face is very important.
@StLieDetecterFoo-n9v The verse tells women to cover their chests and lower their gazes.
Most adult Muslim women cover their hairs(head) and show their faces. 🤲🕌

Bro, If you have time commenting the battle of Xmass than Malaysia is fine. Its first world problems. Here in Poland we had a dude who runs with fire extingusher beacause he dislikes hanooka candels. Cheer up, enjoy the great Malay whether
Oh wow! You’re commenting all the way from Poland?! That’s super cool! I think I might have seen that somewhere, but I don’t immediately remember - I will look it up! Thank you for the wish, and enjoy your dumplings (amongst other things - but wait what do you eat LOL) and your own variant of awesome weather as well!
Is not fine. What is brewing is a “cold community conflict” that haven’t reach the social unrest level. And is regrettable minorities in Malaysia can’t have civil right movement and neither can atheist/agnostic congregate nor organize.
Poland have a GREATEST Prime Minister
No matter what n how much we say...its now ONLY THE MALAYS can STOP these EXTREMIST NONSENSE
(But is that certain?)
In a way, we are then in alignment.
Holier than thou ..
My head hurts
If anybody is wondering why Muslims cannot celebrate other religion's celebrations, please go to the rightful authority and listen to their explaination.
It will clear all the doubts.
What wrong with Christmas celebrations that there just have a great time during Christmas. Where is satu Malaysia?? It's all fake satu Malaysia! Malaya is too proud of there own, but not to others!!
Islam is very respectful of other religions and their followers, including their beliefs about Christmas. However, as Muslims, we believe in the concept of absolute monotheism, which is that God is One, begets and is not begotten. 50% of the malays just follow. Join the crowd for what???
And I don’t mean Chinese or anyone else - this is specifically Malay friends… But it doesn’t mean I don’t see it or that I can’t understand it 😔
Malaysia was a truly great multi culture country people of all walk of life coexist until mathatir came along destroy unity separate them into non bumi Putra instigating hatred among the people of malaysia hopping they would fight among themselves for more than 22 years, even at the age of 95 he still would not drop his snake tongue like the chopsticks and patriotism vernacular schools and if you think PAS and our race base politicians are racist it's because they learn from mathatir, do your homework the root cause of why malaysia politicians are unbecoming of their appointment, these politicians are using race and religion cards to gain voters and support for them to have a seat in the parliament, once they secure their seat it's easy for them to play with the cookie jar know that the more they steal the more hand kisses and respect they gets

I feel like Tun hangs on to this world and has lived to this age specifically because he wants to see the Malays succeed at scale and that is why he is hanging on to the world, and that is a reason as to why he remains in this world.
