Not much, just to keep the soil moist. Assuming the soil won't be in full sun until seedlings emerge from it. You will kind of see it loosing moisture, so I suggest You check it daily and adjust watering to that, instead of having a general rule on how often, which can be dependant on so many factors. For example, I started these plants in mid winter indoors, away from direct sunlight and away from heater. I lightly watered them once. You can also use plastic wrap to "close" the seed starting pot and then You won't have to water it until You uncover the wrappings. Make sure to have some holes in it, so there is some fresh air getting in 🌱🍀
@@Liapwow, thank you for this very detailed response!! I’ll keep all that in mind! This morning the soil still seems moist so I’ll check again this afternoon. Thank you 🙏
Yes, You can grow it directly in the main pot. The watering frequency depends on growing conditions, so I suggest You always check the soil before watering. On hot summer days it may require daily watering, otherwise twice a week should be good enough 🌱

Thank you for this video! I planted mint seeds today. My question is: how often do I water them while they're seeds before they sprout?

Make sure the seeds have access to light. They need it to germinate.
