Mandy you do so much for NuCamp that they should give you a rig of your choice for FREE because of all your exceptional demonstration videos. You deserve the commission! Keep up the exceptional work.
I LOVE Mandy’s demos. She is so informative and knows what she’s talking about. And she has comedic personality- “I’d poop in there!!” I laughed at the honesty and “no holes barred” dialogue. 😂
A total game changer for sure with the all-electric design! And everything comes standard! The Alde 3030 hydronic heating system can use both electric and LPG as energy sources, and nuCamp recommends the Honda EU3200i generator as backup. Will just need to invest in a 4x4 chassis cab truck and outfit it to haul the camper along with some custom-designed cabinets for tool storage, hoses, etc. 💪
Mandy, great presentation! I wonder why the Cirrus 920 weighs so much (4,400 lbs). The Host Mammoth with 3 slides weighs less (3955 lbs). I love the design/layout/style of the 920 and that it has no slides, but it sure does weigh a lot.
Easily carry a spare Propane tank in truck or in camper or with that much solar carry the extra propane where generator goes.If still want generator carry that in back seat of truck & extra propane where generator goes. You could live in it easy enough.
Wow, that is a amazing camper! Nu Camp is a great Company! I am a proud new owner of a 320 S. It’s my second 320 S! Keep coming back ,quality is very good.❤
Thank you for this video. Love this camper, it's beautiful and amazing. One suggestion since I've watched hundreds of these video is to be sure and point out receptacles for plugging things we use all the time like coffee makers or cpap machines. Also good to know places where we can charge our electronic goodies or computers for people who work remotely. Great job other than that little suggestion. Have a great day!
Awesome! And I saw it has a sprayer in the toilet area as well which makes flushing the black tank easier (plus doubles as a true bidet for a clean booty).
That's for drinking incase you get thirsty while you're going. I know this because I got upgraded to a suite at a fancy hotel and next to the toilet there was a nice porcelain drinking fountain
Nice that you made the size for the generator compartment large enough to hold a Honda 3200 vs 2200 generator!! Wish you would have made it a propane free camper though.
The real question is did they get the delamination problems they have fixed. I saw several 820' up at the plant in sugar creek waiting on repairs for the walls seperateing.
I was going to get a artic fox 1150 but ill wait to see one of these. Only concern is the weight. The dry weight of this is a bit high for even a dually f350 gaser
The AF 1150 is nice. Would you consider a trade-in for a different truck, if the new 920 becomes the better choice? To comfortably haul the new 920, plus water, food, clothing, camping gear and supplies, I could see getting a 4x4 chassis cab truck and outfit it to hold the camper along with some outside cabinets for tools, hoses, etc. Then again, for the price of the new 920, one can get a very nice 4-season travel trailer and use their existing truck to tow it. 🤷♀
Don’t be fooled that AF is heavier than u think, easily as heavy as this, probably more imo. I wanted the 1140 floorplan until i saw how heavy it sat on a dually ram😱. Wasn’t interested in killing my 3500 dually. AF are a lot heavier than the manufacturer lets on. Got myself a northern lite instead 3400lbs dry weight n that’s cause it has glass windows adding about 200lbs more! 10-2 size, dry bath version. This cirrus is 1000lbs heavier than mine, holy cow. 🍻
@@SpykersB I like the Northern Lite dry bath units. They are truly 4-season campers, with fiberglass shell, LPG stovetop and oven, can withstand hailstorms, and comes with 6 year warranty. Congratulations on your purchase.
That new 920 is impressive. It's too much luxury, weight, and cost for my situation but for people who move less often and don't mind the need for a very big truck...
Great look at an impressive new camper, Mandy. And that seven year warranty is extremely attractive. I wonder if nuCamp is using Azdel or Luan as a substrate under the fiberglass. Hopefully, Azdel. I’d still say that Kingstar is still the high end truck camper to beat but this nuCamp model seems awfully nice.
Love the size, yet too luxurious for my need.i often set camp on hostile woods vested with feral blokes, skunk ape, and cryptie. I need full sustain camper bed with extra storage out and inside, for food, water, dog crater for Mastiff size, whisky cabinet, storage for boomstick, shovel, crowbar.and camper materiel from diamond plate or solid thick steel..sometime some entity throw boulder rock from behing the woods. If your factory can do that,we could have business
Do they offer no black tank with option for composite or other off-grid toilet? Also would like to dump grey off-grid too. The vans use an electric valve to open in a responsible area
Impressive interior, very nice dry bath and all the rest. I'm even impressed by how comfy that dinette seat looks - and that is usually my least favorite component of nearly any RV. My only quirky desire for an even more ideal setup would be a swap from a normal dinette table to more of a window facing desk. Something that better harnesses the view and is more amenable to a computer office use than a conventional dinette. I can point to at least one real world example Kingstar's Command Center option, but I'd probably just modify the table here. Great presentation!
Probably one of the best configured rig I have ever seen. Price is too high for this type of camping. I know a dually would be good with modifications but I would want as much payload and chassis as I can get. A 4500 would be so much better for this type with no worries for sway or weight.
I'm a bit disappointed that there is only one propane tank. And I don't think you mentioned in the video the mattress dimensions? Do you know what there are?
I believe the reason they only put one propane tank is is that the entire camper is designed to run fully off of the lithium and solar - and the propane is now a just a backup. I'm sorry, I don't know the mattress dimensions. It felt somewhat like a queen
@@MandyLea Who camps out in the full sun all day long? Camping I know is in the forest, near lakes, rivers and such. Also, there's crossbars across the solar panel in your video. As well, the AC unit is going to shade some portion of solar panel all day long. A better method would be to have flex solar on the awnings. Angle and no blocking from roof components that way.
niCamp seems to be the only manufacturer to supply ample windows. I just don’t understand why so many builders include only small windows, and never one on the front end for star-gazing. But $90,000 is a bit steep.
Maybe they should re think the stick-on solar panels, especially at this price point. I love less holes in the roof for sure but Reduced performance and longevity of these panels is a big price to pay.
What a gorgeous camper! Now if only NuCamp would come up with a shorter, lighter Avia. If that existed we'd still be in the NuCamp family, where we belong. The 400 floorplan just didn't work for us.
This unit was designed to be run entirely on the 810 Ah of lithium and 930 watts of solar. The propane is just a backup that likely would not even be necessary.
I wish this thing did not weigh so much. Most loaded trucks are coming in at just of 5000 pounds. Buying a 4500 or larger means the truck will be very rough riding when empty. Pushes into why not just get a class B or C
I do realize actual prices will probably start out around $65,000 , and they do seem really well made . It is nice to have options seems like slide ins are a niche market and usually pricey!
I hope they know what they're doing by picking flexible panels. They have a horrible reputation in the RV world. Not off to a good start by shading that panel with the AC unit.
I do like the fiberglass truck campers with dry baths from NL and Bigfoot, but they are at least a decade behind with technology. And they have minimal storage space. I guess for them, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Thanks for the review. Only thing I would change is the shower head and make it a shower head wand to make cleaning up easier.

I saw this yesterday in Hershey - amazing. How are the lithium batteries kept safe from extreme temperatures?
I believe battery heaters are built into the batteries
If NuCamp brings back the Avia, I will sell my soul but I will be the 1st on the listz

Not from the manufacturer, they'll only come with a black tank
Is the rear bumper aluminum? Is the ladder aluminum?

What powers the Alde heat? That was a pretty small LP bottle…….
This unit was designed to be run entirely on the 810 Ah of lithium and 930 watts of solar. The propane is just a backup that likely would not even be necessary.
That water sprayer down by the floor next to the toilet was odd, wish that was covered/explained.
Move the bathroom as far forward as you can and open up the entire back for more windows.
Interesting idea!
@@MandyLea Can the battery capacity be increased? I thought I heard you state, in another video, 1000 aH.
I like it but it would be nice to include a bunk at the dinette like the Tab 400
I could see that...
How much is the camper ?
Answered in the video... MSRP $89k
Amazing camper! A cool upgrade would be an incinerating toilet. Eliminate that little black tank altogether.
Ya, I always thought it'd be neat to put in a composting toilet
It looks like the driver side not the passenger side
Not sure which comment you're referring to... I have been known to misspeak, apologies if I did!
Why do they always make the camper look ten times bigger than then they are.
I wish this thing did not weigh so much. Most loaded trucks are coming in at just of 5000 pounds. Buying a 4500 or larger means the truck will be very rough riding when empty. Pushes into why not just get a class B or C

Gorgeous camper, but it's too heavy. This is as heavy as some Host campers with slides.
Nearly perfect…. Ditch the black tank add a cassette toilet add 12v ac & a 30 amp dc to dc charger along with 3000 watt inverter
Ima guess $75k.
90K in the bed of a pickup or a double wide manufactured home. . .
Different purposes for sure...
Under $ 90,000 means $120,000
show I just didn't like the electric oven, it's not functional, I prefer gas as you won't always be connected to the mains.
It works off the lithium batteries
I think their idea was to make as much as possible electric because there is so much lithium included. That way you don't really NEED propane.
I hope they know what they're doing by picking flexible panels. They have a horrible reputation in the RV world.
Not off to a good start by shading that panel with the AC unit.
The video may not show it well but its a pretty low profile AC.
@@MandyLea The video seems to show the AC ever so slightly overhanging the panel. And it's just too close to begin with.
