that substance the fish live in.....reminds me of water...my goodness to think you had to pay for parking to see this! Good video its valuable to show whats happening to mother earth.
Love your channel brother, it seems like it'd be a blast casting out with you, ever been to the North West, Spring/Tomball area? Spring creek has some great channel and blue catfishing, and prime White Bass, they're in the spawn after all!
Many years ago I saw a fishing show (on tv) about a guy that fly-fished for huge carp, with niblet corn, and it ruined me. I spent 20 years landlocked in Austin, and I had several inner-city spots that were minutes from home. 6lb test and tiny, Texas-rigged, ringworms, or 1/16 Roadrunners. Never failed to entertain and frequently had people yell "ain't no fish in there!" at me while reeling in a bass!
Bro that brand of chips you caught, those chips are AWESOME! You should absolutely try them, gas stations sell them a lot of times, Circle K specifically
Hi, me again. If you want the carp to comme to the surfise, you have to keep the tip of youre rod in the water and automaticly the carp will comme up .
I love fishing but I suck at it. Just been watching tons and tons of videos to learn. I’d love to link up sometime and land something to be proud of!!!
Just recently became a huge fan of yours. You’ve inspired me to start fishing again, haven’t fished since I was in Boy Scouts. What kind of hook were you using for the carp you caught?
I hope you didn’t get too bad a case of Juarez’ Revenge from putting that line in your mouth! Always have braid scissors or clippers for your line! Btw that was one of the first places I tried for carp when I started fishing for them...caught a few channel cats but not carp (back in 2006...)
Where did you park to get to this spot? I've been on the other side where the spaghetti warehouse used to be. But you are on the opposite side here right?
Next time scale those carp amd take the fillets off with the skin. One of my favorite catfish baits for casting. Won't come off your hook and the cats love it
Smaller ones, sure, but anything over 5 lbs or so is a waste of resource, imho, to use as bait. I make carp “steaks” out of some 3-5 lb carp from A Story Park to use for alligator gar bait... worked great!
Nice grasser! We’ve caught some about that size in lower Brays Bayou, too. Btw, have you fished Sims Bayou? My first ever blue cat came on a hotdog at i-45, and Charles Milby Park off 225 looks good. Better with company, though; some rather dodgy characters down there!😲
Used to not like bass fishing ?aww dude your killing me, they say and I find it so true if you like puzzles you’ll like bass fishing and probably master the art of.... to piece together timing, temperature, activity, techniques, Reading the first bite, knowing your gear and just sure trickery is so rewarding to yourself. I’m sure you already know this now. Hey if you don’t mind the gators ,load up a kayak and hit the Sheldon reservoir, bass, crappie, catfish heaven ,these fish are fat. Launch from the ramp closest to old hey 90,it won’t disappoint.
@@Locdwithwill dough bait(chicken food, oats meal, one can cultured dairy beverage), fishing with long sensitive bobber and bait sit at bottom. cast out bottom fishing snag easily there(saw many people did that and end up broken line and no catching. so I tried not cast too far just in front of me and use lighter weight, have less snag and caught fish, too).
BTW not manny people will understand why you trow the carp back into the water. In europe all carpfisher have a silent understanding to live and let live all carp. I am sure more the 95% of european carpfishermen relaese theire carp again so they grow bigger. This is 1of the reasons we have bigger carp. Carp is for europa the same as bass is for the USA.

Lol your hilarious bro. The way u said "sabritoneeees"! Lol had me laughing, thanks I really enjoy your videos.
My PB is a 41# grass carp, foul hooked, on 8# line. I took close to 2 hrs to land him. Great channel, new sub.
Thanks for making videos and showing us these fishing spots 🙏
That is one hell of a grass carp!!! Well done.😎🎣👌
Double header, twice. Three species.... Very nice man. This is definitely one of your best videos yet.

Forgot to tell you, I had a friend that also caught a few big pacu in here.
That's super cool! You just never know what's swimming around in there.

Oh man! That’s awesome! I’ve had that spot saved to try for a while. I’m gonna have to see if I can get one of those grassies to take a fly on top ;)
10:10 it’s a channel cat because there is spots on it and the blue cats have bigger heads
Correct you are. I’ve as about to say the same thing

I use size 2 hooks for carp. For many years. 👍
Thanks for another awesome video. Sabritoneeeeees. Lol

hopefully you have had your shots!
Well done on your carp PB.😎🎣
I caught a 20 inch redfish right where you are
LOl, this is funny, I work near there and now I have to invest my lunch hour better, got to stop by and do some fishing there
Wow how great
I bet it smelled lovely there lol. Nice catches.
Nothing better then garbage smelling water 🤣😂🤣😂
I have always wanted to fish there. ... I got a few spots where i stay if your up for new spots
There are gar in Buffalo Bayou, we've seen them.
I saw crab and shrimp there, too.
In fact, there was. 6-7’ long alligator gar caught up west of west Loop 610....
U should take some pointers from 618 fishing👍
I try to take pointers from a bunch of good channels. Anything specific? I'm always looking to improve.
Definitely 618 you guys are similar in demeanor and zest for content.... editing, camera set up and cast nets 618 reigns supreme.
Carp makes good fish bait. Those carp would have been in either cut or dip.
Like the videos man keep going

Where is this at I live in Houston
Nothing like some topwater action! Wonder if theyd take a fly around that trash pile
Where is this at
I’ve always wanted to catch a grass carp. Nothing like catching a 20+ common tho. Do the fights compare?
I've never caught a common more than about ten pounds, but I do believe the common fight harder. They go on more runs and run longer.
Where did you park to get to this spot? I've been on the other side where the spaghetti warehouse used to be. But you are on the opposite side here right?
What kind of bait runner reel is that?
Is that a fly fishing 🎣 reel
Naw a centerpin reel I believe
all the mullet jumping in the background
lol
Can you explain the point of th fly rods? Why not just use a rod and reel you could actually cast?
So all the fish u got u just released them ?
What’s the name of the spinning rod that you caught the carp with.
It's a three pound test curve stalking rod from Fox. I love it and definitely recomend it.
Both were channel cats by the way
Hey man I love you show keep on doing your thing.
You must keep wet towel in hand to grab these guys it will grip good..
I hope you make it big time. I would like to see you fishing for all types of fish across the USA.
Definitely was a channel cat
Next time scale those carp amd take the fillets off with the skin. One of my favorite catfish baits for casting. Won't come off your hook and the cats love it
Talking about use those carp for bait or food?
Nick read my comment again and you tell me lol

I'll take over 20 pounds of just filets for bait, ill use the heads too. We have plenty on the Illinois river.
are the fish safe to eat from Buffalo Bayou?
No, the water quality throughout most of the greater Houston area is pretty bad. You can smell the chemicals just standing there.
@@wildlifefishingshow coming from a oil and gas worker I should of known the answer to that smh...great video

What city is this?

You can tell by the shape of the anal fin. Blues have an anal fin shaped like a check mark.

@The Dark One you can search google map with "championship park", or university of Houston(downtown)

Are there Any dead bodies floating in that trash heap?
That’s right by the county jail
There is alot of brackish water that area, how about targeting saltwater species.
WHOA 998!! About to hit 1k!!

@@katecelez8866 Yes?.
