👁 About this video : Today we get behind the wheel of the 2022 BMW M850i! What a luxurious sedan this is or "coupe" with nice flowing lines on the exterior and even having the carbon fiber accents! Those make there way into the interior and mixed with the brushed aluminum and leather, has a very upscale interior! The driving experience is phenomenal with it's handling and power! For the weight, you really can't feel it, very planted in the turns, the x-drive all wheel drive system provides the car with tons of grip and the M sport brakes do there job as well! It's a comfortable car to drive in comfort, very quiet and well insulated and then when you pop it over into sport mode, the exhaust note comes to life! It's not crazy loud, but you can hear those pops on downshifts! The interior just has a nice feeling to it, the seats are comfortable, the infotainment system is easy to use and there are tons of nice features! This would be a great daily for the practicality it has but also for the fun driving experience!

This video shows how BMW has come a long way in terms of technology and performance. It also makes it tough to choose between the other German rivals. It all depends on what you want.
For sure! BMW makes some cool cars. All three brands offer something a bit different. BMW is the most performance oriented I think

I acquired my 2022 M850i in September, 2021 before watching this video. This is a great all around car with plenty of luxury and performance. This video is worthy of exploring and accurately depicts the experiences and joy I have found with the car as well.

Not sure about that. We've driven the Hellcats and they aren't that fast to be honest. While this weighs about the same. This handles the power better and feels faster
I have Stinger GT money right now.I juststared working again in the medical field.Even though I own my Stinger I am going to put money away for my next car.I also had a 60k budget--so I have 30k in the bank and own a new stinger--so i am about halfway there.Can not wait to see what these cars will be in 2 to 3 years when I am in the market.

@@absolutettt I didn't notice actually in the first time but now I've rewatched and It appears that it does have a scratch. However, I don't think it is the factory fault.

I took one to the Nordschleife track in Nurburg, very powerful engine, but too heavy for the nasty turns of that infamous track.
Yeah it's a big car for that many turns. M4 or M2 would be more at home. This is that luxury GT car type of performance
Way to heavy, I don’t like the car that much honestly it also feels cramped like crazy and i had the grand coupe. Didn’t feel special at all in it or feel like i was in a ‘ top of the line lineup of bmw’ the m550 is a much much better car and much lighter and way more comfortable
How come I can't see this color on the BMW website?
Not sure why! Some of the colors offered are very specific so may not be on the website, but you can spec a BMW in any color you want!

I think the 8 series is more on the sporty side rather then luxury like a 7 series. Both are certainly super cool!

Ah, the button on the right is to close the trunk and lock the vehicle? I've owned my M550d for going on 4 years now, and how have I not known this until now?

great video with much more detailed info than other channels. one suggestion is that i felt relaxed coming in but got tired and stressed as i listen to all those information non-stop. i hope we could slow down a little bit between sections and maybe insert some shots of different angles of the car. after all people watching this won't feel rushed to finish the video in 20 minutes because they must be already interested in this car and won't mind spending 30 minutes on it.

It's similar in size. But a bit less room in back with the sloping rear glass
Remove that middle console in the back allready BMW! At least as an option.
I could see that being nice as an option to have or not have it! Kind of defeats the purpose of having a middle passenger in the back!

So why is there a middle seatbelt if the controls are blocking it??
This is a 5 seater! You have to have one leg on each side if you have a middle seat back passenger! Kind of odd to see, but it would mainly be a 4 seater!

Really slick, but it's way overpriced and will depreciate like a rock if my 650i is any indication. This only makes sense as a lease or CPO.
I would agree with you on that, buying one used is much smarter if you don’t want to loose an arm and a leg on a new one.

This is a direct competitor to the Audi S7 tho. Just minus the hatch opening. I prefer the Audi too because of that

It's not too hard getting used to after a while with BMW
The interior is similar to 3 series, which is a turn off for the cost of the vehicle.
BMW doesn't seem to have much differentiating any of their cars. Would be nicer to see each series having something unique

Not really. I only really know of the US spec cars that we have
I told you some, like the Toyota Yaris GR, the manual 4WD subcompact hot hatch with a 3-cylinder engine.

They sell the Yaris GR in Mexico though.
But later, the US and possibly Europe will get the Corolla GR with the same engine but the 0-100 time will be different cos of the weight.

Outside is 🔥 inside is basic. BMW doesn’t know what else to do with the inside of their cars any more
They keep it to the basics but still have a good amount of tech! It's enough for the driver enthusiast without going over board like the Mercedes Benz models!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I think they may want to go overboard to keep up. Mercedes and Audis touch screens are awesome. Unless they were more concerned based on price point, then I understand.
@@josephalbury5015 I could see both sides of it! I’ve heard BMW says they don’t do all the screens like Audi and MB because of the light they admit especially at night time, which isn’t good on the eyes.
