yeah, i have to say this is really amazing for not being bespoke. i also really like the way the father talks. so relaxing and soothing, almost like ASMR
This is strategically amazing. The cut and finish is clean and professional. It is church worthy as well as interview classic. The width of the collar complements the knot of the tie and shape of drape.
I started wearing double breasted suit after seeing the movie : "Gattaca". I wondered for awhile why people don't wear them. I have more double breasted suits than two buttoned suits because I get a lot of compliments wearing double breasted. They come with large peak lapels so you don't look like a worker bee wearing a uniform. I look more like their boss. I just bought one today that looks more modern with a shorter length. Due to the fact that most people wear two buttoned suits, double breasted suits are often on sale! 😁
Looking good Kirby! I am meeting Devij in a couple of weeks. I have one double breasted by Ralph Lauren already, but was considering getting my second. Do you recommend getting a dbl breasted suit as a first suit from the Hemrajani guys? Thanks, Steve
Beautiful suit! I like the way you fold your pocket square. Is it linen? What brand is it? The problem I find with most pocket squares is that they are too large and stick out of the pocket too much. Yours looks perfect though.
I am planning on getting a double breasted suit. That’s my goal right now. This style really looks so beautiful and I drool over them every time I see them
How does one get an appointment with these guys? Their website and social media hasn’t been updated in two years, there’s no calendar of trunk shows. No way to contact them. I don’t get it.
Amazing suit, but let's talk about the braces. Are they Albert Thurston boxcloth? And are they leather or goatskin? One more question... can one wear white leather braces with either black or brown shoes? So many questions... Thanks, Steve
Hi kirby iv been watching you content for a long time now and i enjoy your videos very much. Can you suggest some good quality mens travel bags. I use samsonite cases for long trips but im looking for something for long weekends ideally leather thanks keep up the good work 👍
Kirby, I am interested in asking you a question. You can aford all these marvels of the bespoke world, so I want to know how can you aford it amd what made you pursue elegant life and bespoke clothing and shoes? Many salutes from across the Ocean, from Croatia (the land of the necktie).
I used to have just one in the suit wardrobe. I liked it, but I never wanted more than just the one for some reason. My dad never wore a double-breasted. He thought it looks too much like George Raft. That thought sort of stuck with me as the double-breasted suit does look like you should have a hat. But as soon as you add a hat, then it looks like a costume. It's still a great style and the sign of an intelligent snappy dresser. As a practical matter, you really can't unbutton it for comfort unless you are at your desk.
The appearance of the suit would be improved by a better choice of buttons. These look like plastic, but maybe it is the lighting. Unpolished horn buttons with a rim and shallow dish for the four holes are the classic Savile Row look and are very elegant. I don't know what the big deal is with DB suits. I I didn't think they were that rare, but this is probably both generational and geographical.
Historically speaking, I believe there is evidence to suggest that double breasted suits were actually less formal than their single breasted counterparts.
That is a damn good looking suit. Morrissey wore one made by these guys (namely the brown windowpane Vitale Barberis on his “the first of the gang to die” single.) I would also like to add this is Exhibit No. 1 of why you should focus on more American designers. This suit looks 100* better on you than any designed by those English twats you usually hang with. Consider that Moz could buy anywhere on Saville and he has repeatedly gone to Joe Hemrajani in LA. Also, why not consider matching this suit with Lucchese boots or another custom brand from Texas. This suit would kick ass with goatskin snip toe Lucchese. Excellent choice. A++
Wear well. fits you perfectly. just not for me. double breasted suits still remind me of the 80's and '90's, no matter how well they are cut I feel they look dated on me, not helped by the wide lapels which I also just can't cope with.
Kirby...your comment about wearing "jeans " with a double-breasted jacket is ludicrous. As a matter of fact...a true gentleman wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of jeans...for any motive....not even to shovel manure in our horse stables.

Kirby that suit is amazing...you look so smart. Well done.
Joe is such a nice and talented gentlemen. He really nailed that fit on Kirby.
yeah, i have to say this is really amazing for not being bespoke. i also really like the way the father talks. so relaxing and soothing, almost like ASMR
Yeah, I imagine.
This is strategically amazing. The cut and finish is clean and professional. It is church worthy as well as interview classic. The width of the collar complements the knot of the tie and shape of drape.
The collar of that coat, is it tight because of the weight of the coat.
Legend has it Joe passed on his hair as inheritance to Divij, which he now wears as eyebrows.
hahaha your hilarious
you're*
😂😂😂😂
It is truly a joy to watch. Thank you and cheers from Denmark 🇩🇰 😊👌🏼
Thank you!
These guys are amazing, at their pricepoint why even go elsewhere for a suit?

Can we take a moment and admire the wardrobe in the back...very classic and elegant. Nicely done sir 👌
I love it! Slowly talking me into one Joe/Kirby.
Take the plunge! You won’t be disappointed!!
You look smashing Kirby. Great taste!
That fabric and drape is beautiful
Truly amazing fit that flatters and even improves your shape. Very impressed.
I always think how cool Letterman looked in those epic double breasted suits and blazers. Looking like a BOSS, Kirby!
Kirby, fantastic!
By the way, the DB I am custodian of is my favorite suit, in part because the cut and extra layer feels great.
Kirby well done, great video! And you look great in your new suit!
Am hoping Joe & Divij make their way to Houston in the near future. I’m ready for these gentlemen to create my first bespoke suit.
You could always come up to Dallas for the day!
Kirby Allison - good idea! With your permission my wife and i will be staying at your place?!
Looks so nice. I would love one in my wardrobe
How much did it cost? Beautiful suit!
Wow! Very impressed with the cut!
Beautiful suit Kirby!!
Looking good Kirby!

Great video! Love the details on the suit and the information provided troughout the video!
❤️ you sir for your experience
Looks great on you. Well done
This is my favorite kind of suit.
Beautiful suit! I like the way you fold your pocket square. Is it linen? What brand is it? The problem I find with most pocket squares is that they are too large and stick out of the pocket too much. Yours looks perfect though.
Beautiful suit Kirby.
May I ask whether you recommend applying Super Invulner to normal leather dress shoes for weather proofing?
That suit looks beautiful on you Kirby. Welcome to the double breasted suit lovers world.
I am planning on getting a double breasted suit. That’s my goal right now. This style really looks so beautiful and I drool over them every time I see them
Will go and get one from them

Sir you look so elegant in that suit.
Kirby can you tell us whats the weight of the suit please?

He sells a lot of clothes hangers and shoe polish. I also think his family owns a big auto dealership.
Love the double breasted suit. Just bought one my self. Also dig the Albert Thurston Box cloth braces
Your a class act

Beautiful suit
The double-breasted suit is the most formal garment in men's wear, though it can be paired with jeans, a casual colour will work with jeans
BluePhoenix135 i don’t know about that lol. Clearly a tuxedo is more formal.
Historically speaking, I believe there is evidence to suggest that double breasted suits were actually less formal than their single breasted counterparts.
You’re the man
Ahhh! Finally we see the 'real' office at 0.42''
So difficult to make and yet so good looking. I am a seamstress.
Thank you! Definitely an incredible skill!!
So kirby, the double breasted stays done up when you sit, unlike the single which is always undone ?
yes ! thats right :)
@Kirby Allison, is the jacket ventless or has double vents? Also, are your trousers pleated and have cuffs?

I couldn’t agree more. The classic proportions are classic for a reason - they always look good!!
Kirby Allison Thanks Kirb. At last. . .we finally agree here on something ! 🤟
Even when the pants are high waisted, it's best (I would say mandatory) to still obey the rule of having the tie end at the beginning of the pants.
Can you make /talk CCW and suits?
Looks great on you, I have over 30 suits but only one double breasted maybe i will indulge 😊
Sounds like it’s time to take the plunge!
Hard to believe DB is only 5% of bespoke volume
Real heroe
6:20 they said :you’re looking good, and you said nothing very kind men
It looks like when he said “you’re looking good”, after there was a cut and change to a next videoclip
Hammer Johnny
My next suit will be a DB
I’ve REALLY enjoyed wearing it!!
the color grading from this video is a bit washed. Other than that, another great video!
Kirby...WHY is it your first double-breasted suit !!?? Where have you been ??
Hi.Kirby tank you for making good movies on youtube all the time .Please tell me the perfume that British gentleman prefer

I love double breasted.
I only have one at the moment but i am looking for more.

In an appropriately formal environment, they look exceptional! I worn mine in London and New York and received plenty of compliments.

Company cancel.
By the way ..you need to find a new shirtmaker. That spread collar looks really ridiculous.
Kirby...your comment about wearing "jeans " with a double-breasted jacket is ludicrous. As a matter of fact...a true gentleman wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of jeans...for any motive....not even to shovel manure in our horse stables.
True, its weird that i suddenly stopped wearing jeans now that i think about it. Must have been years, it also doesn’t look comfy enough.
